Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem took part in early-morning deportation raids in Arizona Tuesday, almost getting kicked by an illegal alien as he was detained in the back of a police vehicle. Noem, who takes part in the raids to remind criminal aliens that there's a new sheriff in town, was speaking with a suspect who had just been cuffed and placed in the back of the SUV. "Do you understand the charges against you?" she asked Jose Escobar-Robles, who was being picked up for reportedly illegally funneling money to Mexican drug cartels. Escobar-Robles's response was muffled, but Noem replied, "Yeah, well, you're gonna be prosecuted."

An all-female "crew" went to space on Monday courtesy of Jeff Bezos and his "Blue Origin" rocket. Among them were singer Katy Perry and left-wing anchor Gayle King, and somehow, both women managed to return to earth even more insufferable than before. The pretentiousness of this quote from Perry is off the charts. "I think that it's not about me, it's not about singing my songs, it's about a collective energy in there," Perry said afterward. "It's about making space for future women, and taking up space and belonging, and it's about this wonderful world that we see right out there and appreciating it.

On September 30, 2021, 31-year-old Xiaoquin Yan of China set four fires in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church Montgomery in Montgomery, Alabama. Yan caused tens of thousands of dollars of damage to the church, which was founded in 1829; its existing sanctuary has been around since 1916. Yan had been scoping the church out for months prior to the fire and had referred to the church’s pastors as “rich white men.”

Abrego-Garcia, who a judge has found to be a member of the MS-13 gang, was removed as the result of an administrative error, according to ICE officials. Van Hollen has promised to travel to El Salvador if Abrego-Garcia is not returned. In a letter to Milena Mayorga, Salvadoran Ambassador to the United States, Van Hollen wrote, “The U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously that Mr. Abrego Garcia was wrongly deported to a prison in El Salvador.

On Sunday, it was the final chance for residents in Minnesota to get their favored $8 coffee to go along with a $16 bacon-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich. Café Cerés is (was) a local chain of upper-end coffee shops in the metroplex that was favored by the locals, but April 13 saw the chain closing its doors. The business was brought to an end not by a rough economy but by its workers. Last fall, the employees at the four locations voted to unionize. What you will see on display is a common theme found in the latest generation of workers, where the staff displays an overinflated sense of value and power.

That Space Force colonel in command in Greenland – well, formerly in command in Greenland – who ran her fool mouth to undermine her commander-in-chief demonstrates an all-too-common problem with today’s senior military officers. We keep seeing these passive-aggressive, and not so passively aggressive, officers acting out and throwing childish tantrums of resistance to the President that the people of the United States elected.
