Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem acknowledged Monday that she was trying to send a message to migrant gang members and the American people when she was filmed and photographed inside El Salvador’s notorious mega-prison last week. “People need to see that image,” Noem said of the striking pictures of her surrounded by rows of tattooed inmates standing obediently inside their crammed cells at the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) in El Salvador. “They need to see that the United States is going to use every tool that we have to make our communities safer, that that is a consequence of someone who is a terrorist,”

Saul Alinsky tactics in use here, namely - make conservatives defend/justify their every action which the leftists find "offensive." I won't soil this salon with profanity, but I think you know what I'm thinking they can do with their manufactured "outrage."

Amen, Kristi. I have no doubt that there are gang bangers who are already self-deporting to avoid that prison. Some things are worse than death.

Reminds one of a hanging lady judge who taunted a rapist she had sentenced to life in prison. As he was being led out she came out and raised her robe to her knee saying “Take a good look. This is the last time you are seeing something like this “.

How smart can a terrorist be that covers themselves in tattoo's You might as well paint yourself red and place a sign on your back saying " arrest me". Sub-Humans. They are too stupid to be anything else but terrorists. It's a bit like these fools with their faces filled with punctures and piercings and tattoo's saying "why won't anyone hire me." Because you are a freaking fool.

I can't imagine that cartel terrorists operating on this side of the southern border would bat an eye at the prospect of winding up at this gulag. Afterall, they've got tons of fentanyl to move up north. However, what would catch their eye is what happens to these gang bangers after they have spent a little time at this gulag where they either die from disease or violence. But, yes, I would suppose that the more weak-minded one will elect to self-deport where they will either die of disease or from violence, anyway.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem only has to defend herself to the left and to the leftist media. No need to bother at all in my opinion. Anyone with half a brain understands what she was doing. Pretending you don't doesn't make you smart.

I[m gonna clean this one up for Lucianne (RIP) remembering her saying that this is a salon, not a saloon. But it seems to me that Ms. Noem shows more intestinal fortitude than the previous occupant of that office. And the pic of her at the prison kind of reminds me of the scene in Despirate Housewives where Eva Longoria, dressed to the nines, comes to visit her imprisoned husband to the delight of the other inmates.

If you're a Republican, conservative or Christian, you need to ask for a change of venue when charged in New York or DC. Places like Iran and Gaza would be fairer than NY or DC.

I am a bit late to this conversation, but as someone who started her civilian federal government career as a correctional officer in a high security, all male penitentiary. I found Secretary Noem's appearance offensive. I have no problem showing these inmates in their prison garb which consists of white boxer shorts. HOWEVER, her glam photo with the tight jeans, white long sleeve short hugging her body and the glam hairdo and nice makeup was offensive to those of us women who actually had to work around these pieces of crap. Yeah, we get it - she's a very attractive woman, but give it a rest. Well, I would like to see how she would respond to some inmate jerking off in front of her - oh no, my lipstick is smeared....JOKE!

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. When historians look back to tell the story of the MAGA revolution, where will they begin? The obvious moment is when Trump descended that golden escalator and declared he would seek the presidency. But that’s not the real beginning—at least according to Free Press columnist Matthew Continetti. He was there, among the nerdy intellectuals whose names would still be obscure to many of us, as they articulated the ideas that Trump would take up—and use to fundamentally transform the GOP. Their ideas—of economic protectionism, immigration restrictionism, and nationalism—have not just challenged the traditional conservatism movement and Republican Party. They have fully replaced it.

Israel's complete jurisdiction over Area C, which legally includes building permits, zoning, construction, law enforcement and planning, was recognized and agreed to by the Palestinian leadership and the world at large for almost three decades. As stipulated in the agreement, only when direct negotiations determine the permanent fate of the territories that had illegally been occupied by Jordan until 1967, can the Oslo Accords be replaced. Until then, it is the law. First, they fabricated a name for this illegal encampment to make it appear "historic": "Khan al Ahmar." From there, they complained to the media that this destitute group of Arabs were being threatened with supposed "crimes against humanity":

One evening about twenty years ago, at the height of my shortwave radio zeal, I was sitting at my desk tuning in Deutsche Welle’s (DW) English broadcast. For years, the Democratic political figures, liberal activists, and the resistance movement writ large have drawn morbid comfort from the fact that Donald Trump’s supporters were, frankly, quite old. The Trump phenomenon, they believed, had an expiration date sometime in the near future: Young voters would replace their parents and grandparents as demographics shifted, and all would be right — or rather, left — with the world. The 2024 election has shattered these hopes. Trump’s gains with young people are so massive that Gen Z might as well be called Gen Trump. Data guru David Shor laid bare this stark reality in an interview with The New York Times’ Ezra Klein last week;

In a remote stretch of Washington state, border agents report seeing an average of five migrants crossing illegally north into Canada each day. The numbers were starting to pick up even before the Trump administration began in full force.
