The dynamic is obvious to any intellectually honest observer, which is to say U.S. and Western media disqualify themselves and continue pushing preferred EU narratives.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has rejected the latest U.S. proposal for a minerals deal that would create a partnership to repay the United States for ongoing financial support. According to Zelenskyy, the deal to share in oil, gas and mineral revenue would amount to debt that would disqualify them from EU membership due to unstable financials.

OK Pres. Trump needs to cut this guy loose and let him fight his battle on his own with what little help the EU will provide. He cannot be trusted and he really wants to keep this war going IMOHO for his own reasons. The US can get minerals elswhere, we don't need to keep sending billions and munitions and sure as heel will NOT send any of our troops. Zelinsky is as corrupt and duplicitous as Putin. Cut him off and just pray for the Ukranian people caught up in this battle of egos and a little comedian and a tyrant. Enough taxpayer money has been sent...NO MORE!

One more thing...Mr. President, Zelensky is the "snake" in the parable you told several times during your campaign. You have tried to help and he continues to bite the hands that have supported him, with billions of dollars and weapons. He will bite again, let him go..please.

So, V.Z., did France and the rest of the EU offer to build you a new Maginot Line? The first one worked oh so well!

Zelensky's future is up to Ukrainians and Europeans.
If they want this war to continue they can support him.
It's time to play Pontius Pilot and wash our hands of him.

POTUS cannot be held responsible for not ending a war one of the parties refuses to end. It's becoming clearer and clearer that too much of Europe has forgotten what freedom is worth. Hate to abandon them, but this is their battle first. It's time to pull back. Let them suffer the consequences of their choices.

It's clear that Zelenskyy does not care about the Ukranian people. We need to bow out gracefully now and let Putin have the prize that he has dearly overpaid for. As one of the old 1960s sayings used to go; Better red than dead.

It has become clear that Zelensky is yet another petty dictator that has gotten his country into a war, is keeping it there as it is decimated, and will either slither off before the end game or hang around as a dictator that will be impossible to deal with.
If the EU wants this guy, they can have him and all the debt and conflict he brings with him. For the US, his best purpose will be as an object lesson for when you FAFO with the US. The EU seems to need this lesson too. The lesson is, we are willing to support you but ON OUR TERMS. We are NOT saps.
It will be interesting to see what happens to the EU when they get their hands on this tar baby. Unlike Br'er Rabbit, I doubt they will get out of the thicket. Zelensky is on a dead end path.
Unfortunately, the one's that will pay for the hubris of the EU and Zelensky are the Ukrainian people. The US should keep this firmly in mind when dealing with the EU. They take advantage of the people they deal with. Trump KNOWS this well but this is a long term problem. The EU are "allies" with a seriously different world view and a plan to take advantage of the US and weaken us. Trump's America First plan is essential for our continued freedom and success. Again, we can work with the EU, ON OUR TERMS. Or, they can chew on their old bones alone.

Zelensky -and his spend thrift wife- can NOT be trusted. He will do anything to stay in power and get kickbacks regardless of all the deaths of his people. Time for Ukrainians to remove him and stop the corruption. The EU will not win this by undermining Trump. We are putting in our own iron dome. They will be on their own.

You know, the aid offered under Biden was stupidly not secured. I don’t know if this is going to float. I have no problem with Trump twisting this guys arm a bit, but Zelensky is stating the obvious. The money to this point was not a loan, and the minerals do belong to Ukraine………until Russia wins…..then they are Putins. Zelensky should sign none the less. It’s the best deal on the table.

Seems like Zelensky is being supported in his losing war quest by the EU leaders in Brussels as a jab at Trump. The impotent EU leadership can control Zelensky to spite Trump. They win even if Ukraine loses. Spiteful little EU needs to have power over something.

Of course, we are told that those sorts of things are ONLY good for America, not good for Ukraine.

Regardless of what you might think about the Z-man, has anyone noticed that never is heard a discouraging word about Putin from Sundance? Makes me wonder if he might have been on the receiving end of some of those funds the Kremlin spread around to American "influencers"... I'd have a lot more respect for Sundance if he'd stay in his wheel house (domestic politics) and leave the diplomacy and negotiations to the team that PDJT has assembled.

Watch Tucker Carlson's sit-down with Jeffery Sachs.
IF Mr. Sachs is correct, the whole conflict was caused by arrogant Democrat (HildeBeast/Obama/Biden) and Euroweenie (my terms) politicians pushing for Ukraine to join NATO, something that Putin said Russia would go to war to prevent....... and they did.
If I understand correctly, there was a tentative agreement between Ukraine and Russia that would have prevented the war, but the 'Rats and Boris Johnson talked Z into not accepting it.
Arrogant, foolish politicians got how many hundreds of thousands of young men killed..... and the evil Politicians walk away with scot-free.
Trump gave it a shot, but it looks like it's time for us to walk away.
It seems to me that the Euroweenie politicians like to talk of fighting -while sitting in their nice opulent conferences.... then let THEM fight!

Since the Ukraine War began the United States has been paying not only the entire cost of its defense but its notoriously corrupt civil government as well. A full audit of those expenditures is long overdue.

If I had input, my advice would be to let the EU spill its treasure (and if they're that daft, their soldiers' blood) into Zelensky's slice of heaven--and they can negotiate among themselves on how to split the cut The Big Guy used to get.

Zelinskyy is much like Fidel Castro, who traveled to Washington in his dirty fatigues and begged for money and weapons from JFK. The US didn't help him so he turned to Kruschev. He only wanted to be a dictator and had no loyalty anybody.

Scrutinize the records of the people who encouraged Zelensky
to reject the cease fire with Russia, people like Susan Rice he consulted with before he met w/ President Trump and got his public spanking--who counseled him to stand tough and steer his country toward its destruction.
Were they duly registered as foreign consultants? Were their papers in order?
Recall General Mike Flynn's treatment? The tables have turned and they need a taste of their own medicine.

The people surrounding Zelenskyy need to decide if they want this ego driven fool to keep them in a perpetual war or end it. US support is on life support and the American people’s patience is wearing thin. The US military industrial complex needs to stay on the taxpayer trough to survive. Without it he is finished. The EU doesn’t have the money or resources to fill the gap. All they can offer is luncheons, hugs, and photo ops. I’m beginning to question the guy’s sanity.

Here's what I see...a deficient man...in manhood...thinks he can pound his chest and make America shake and cave...well lot's of luck with that one...let Europe save his posterior....the military complex is sure President Trump will cave because they think he needs to stop the war.....because he promised to at the rallies....surprise...if Putin and Z want a war till the last man standing...then so be it....WE here in America are building a golden dome to protect US.....and making AMERICA Great!!

As all posters have said...Just cut him loose. Z doesn't seem to understand that shamblin' Joe and his cabal of incompetent leftists are not in charge anymore. I think he also doesn't realize that the new sheriff is going to cut him off and drop him like a used condom. I have come around to believe that the best solution is to let Russia have Ukraine. They already have the Crimea. I hate it for the average people who have suffered so much and don't want to live under the Russian boot but it seems to be the best solution all around. Z won't be hurt. He will just take his millions and move to somewhere like Switzerland.

If the EU thinks they are gigging President Trump with this BS, maybe it's time to drop our membership in NATO. Those weenies don't pay their own way, they will never step up and help the US if we’re attacked and secretly, they don't like us, so let's just take our toys and go home!
