Tesla has become a lightning rod for violent attacks and vandalism in the months since CEO Elon Musk joined the Trump administration. Now, people who disagree with Musk’s role in politics are hoping to channel their emotions into something peaceful: a day of mass nonviolent protests at Tesla locations nationwide. More than 200 protests are scheduled to take place Saturday during what organizers are calling a global day of action, part of a campaign called “Tesla Takedown.” The organizers are hoping to damage Musk’s political standing by hurting the sales and stock price of the electric-car maker, the foundation of

Years ago, a local nice restaurant owned by a local entrepreneur donated money to a politician. Instantly the local leftist/minorities began protesting his/her restaurant. I never have understood how people can protest a place of business since it isn't redressing grievance with the goobernment. Seems more an attack on individuals that are not goobernment. This appears to be a similar situation. I get if one doesn't like a product they can voice their dissatisfaction with the product. Protesting a producet because of the ownership isn't the same as being an unsatisfied customer.

My son's friend has a cybertruck, he's gotten flipped off a couple of times and someone spit on it. I went by the local university parking lot and there were two Teslas. One had two stickers on it saying Anti-Elon and the other was just there. Brave owner. I hope he has his cameras engaged.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is known for steering clear of the traditional, somber attire expected in Washington, DC, playing the suit game by his own rules. But he's also got a second kind of unconventional look — operator casual. It's a different vibe from the conspicuously bright blue suit he wore at the recent NATO summit, drawing criticism, but it shares some similarities to some of his other preferred flair, like flag-linings in his suits, patriotic socks, and a star-spangled pocket square. The style gained momentum during the Global War on Terrorism, or GWOT, though earlier versions date back to

In theory this puts an end to collective bargaining for more than half of all federal workers. President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday evening abolishing union rights at more than two dozen federal agencies and offices, in a major expansion of the administration’s efforts to shrink the federal government. The White House cited national security concerns for terminating workers’ ability to bargain collectively, but the order applies at agencies with both direct and indirect links to national security.

By the end of her series of contradictions and admissions, Maher had made the definitive case for ending public funding for NPR and state-subsidized media. Many of us have written for years about the biased reporting at NPR. Not all of this criticism was made out of hostility toward the outlet — many honestly wanted NPR to reverse course and adopt more balanced coverage. That is why,
