Maybe you've seen this already. It seems to be everywhere today so we might as well talk about it. Just over a week ago the Trump administration announced a series of strikes on the Houthis in Yemen.
The US has launched a "decisive and powerful" wave of air strikes on Houthi rebels in Yemen, President Donald Trump has said, citing the group's attacks on shipping in the Red Sea as the reason.
"Funded by Iran, the Houthi thugs have fired missiles at US aircraft, and targeted our Troops and Allies," Trump said on social media, adding that their "piracy, violence, and terrorism" had cost "billions" and put lives at risk.

The last part leads to the question "Why was Goldburg on their Signal contacts list at all?"
Major media (such as the Post and others) use Signal accounts to encourage whistleblowers to contact them securely. It's also a means of providing leaks to trusted persons securely.

#1: Which is why Sec. Hegseth should contact Musk immediately and ask for a proprietary in-house app to be used only by *trusted* members of the Department. Until he's vetted and knows the people surrounding him are only those he can trust, he should assume they are all untrustworthy!

The very end of the article answers the question. There was another contact w similar initials, and Goldberg was mis-added.
Who among us has not done this?
A huge mistake, but absolutely explainable.
Let’s see chats of the Communists who are screaming about this. (I’m looking at you Nancy GumsALot, and you, Pocahontas. And you, PIAPS. Mighty silent are you.)
Of course, any text “mis-sent” to a journalist by these clowns would never be reported.)
They tire me.

Why are these Houthi's called rebels?
They exist in a country that allows them to exist.
They are obviously supported by Yemen. , and encouraged by Iran.
At some point in time Iran has to be relieved of the control by the Mullahs.

Yet, there was a collective *yawn* when someone in the Biden administration leaked details to the MSM about Israel's war plans against Hamas and Hezbollah.
If true, Walz made an amateur mistake that will likely not be repeated. The Democrats need anything they can grasp onto to deflect our attention as they flail about looking for a leader and a message.

So does that mean the Houthis are our allies?

It still begs the question "Why was he on the list to begin with?"

The only damage to arise from this accident is that Goldberg peed his pants thinking that he was important enough to be included on a pentagon email. Houthis still died and lost a bunch of weapons stockpiles.

Roosevelt briefed the press on the invasion of Normandy before it happened. But that was a time in America when the press represented the interests of citizens and not insurgents.

Buttigieg, Pelosi, Kelly, Warren…yeah, I’m sure these national security experts are upset. What a load of bull droppings.

I am not apologizing for Mike Waltz's actions concerning this issue. What concerns me is how many Democrats are unloading on Pete Hegseth. Yes, I think he should keep an eye on Mike Waltz but how many times did we read about missing documents etc.

The CONCEPT of a 'secure app' starts off with a totally bogus starting point. NO "app" that is transmitted over the airways can EVER be actually secure. Hard fact. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant or lying intentionally.

With Fauxahontas, Tim Walz, Mark Kelly, and Pelosi all yammering about how this is the worst national security error and gross incompetence Trump and the administration should respond with only two words.... AFGHANISTAN WITHDRAWAL. If we had a real press, this serious mistake, but not life shattering error, would be a one day story. But, again, the administration MUST get to the bottom of how this got leaked to Goldberg.

Ratcliff testified that as soon as he was confirmed as CIA Director, the CIA 'experts' installed Signal on his laptop.
I'm questioning how bright these CIA experts are if they think that any 'encrypted app' is safe.
