Elon Musk's attempt to unilaterally dismantle the U.S. Agency for International Development likely violated the United States Constitution, a federal judge ruled on Tuesday.
U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ordered Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency to immediately give USAID employees access to their "email, payment, security notification, and all other electronic systems," and ordered a pause on any efforts to shut down USAID.
Judge Chuang wrote that Musk's takeover "usurped the authority of the public's elected representatives in Congress to make decisions on whether, when, and how to eliminate a federal government agency, and of Officers of the United States duly appointed under the Constitution

President Trump calls for Judge Boasberg to be impeached. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts immediately jumps into action to defend his friend and colleague. Have you ever seen Justice Roberts respond so quickly? The reason is the relationship between him and Boasberg. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts scolded President Trump Tuesday for demanding that a federal judge who blocked the swift deportation of Venezeulan gang members be impeached.
In a rare direct response to a presidential statement, Roberts responded to Trump’s morning comments toward Chief DC US District Judge James Boasberg, saying: “For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.
“The normal appellate review process exists for that reason,” the chief justice concluded.

Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz expressed frustration during a Tuesday podcast about criticism regarding his masculinity while he campaigned to be vice president of the United States in 2024. Fox News host Jesse Watters in September criticized the governor’s masculinity, specifically citing his use of a straw to drink a milkshake. Walz, on “This is Gavin Newsom” claimed the network spent multiple days criticizing him for how he consumed the milkshake, and alleged they constantly characterized him as a homosexual.

A federal judge has indefinitely blocked President Donald Trump’s ban on transgender service members, dealing a major defeat to a controversial policy the president resurrected from his first term.
In a scathing ruling, US District Judge Ana Reyes said the administration cannot enforce the ban — which was set to take effect later this month.

The former U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe has described President Trump’s ban on women in men’s sports as “cruel and depraved.”
Rapinoe made the remarks during a profile interview with MUNDIAL magazine over Trump’s changes to federal Title IX rules that prohibit biological men from playing in women’s sports.
“Don’t tell me it’s about the rights of women’s sports,” Rapinoe railed. “That is totally disingenuous to say that.”
The 40-year-old went on to claim that Trump biological men competing against women “isn’t an issue,”

The radical judge trying to stop President Trump from deporting dangerous illegal aliens has been Loomered.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, a federal judge appointed by Barack Obama issued an ’emergency’ injunction Saturday night ordering planes already in the air to turn back mid-flight to prevent the deportation of Tren De Agua members to El Salvador.
The case was brought by the Marxist, America-hating ACLU and Democracy Forward.
But the order came too late. Two flights from the U.S. carrying nearly 300 Venezuelan and other gang members landed in El Salvador despite Judge James Boasberg’s emergency order. This prompted a mocking reply from the country’s president, Nayib Bukele.

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Source” that every American should be frightened because President Donald Trump did not “respect our Constitution.”
Sanders said, “Look, you know, the guys who wrote the Constitution back in the 1790s when nobody’s fools, what they wanted to do is have a separation of powers between the executive, the legislative, and the judiciary so that one person could not assume enormous power. And what you are seeing right now is a president who is authoritarian. He just attacked the media the other day. I think he called CNN illegal because I gather that now and then, you criticize him.

There’s a popular debate series on YouTube called “Surrounded,” where they take a pundit of some stripe — usually an older person with some degree of renown and experience — and put them in a room full of social media savvy youngsters who all disagree with that person. One by one, they all take turns arguing with the guest. As you might imagine, a round robin debate with a bunch of peacocking college-age students is frequently the Dante-esque assault on reason you imagine it is, but it produces plenty of viral moments that can be clipped and shared on social media.

Since faceplanting as Kamala Harris' running mate, the Minnesota governor has been holding rallies and making the media rounds in a desperate attempt to boost his stock for a 2028 presidential run. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took a shot at Senate Minority Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Tuesday for his controversial vote with Republicans last week to avert a government shutdown.
Pelosi, during a press conference in San Francisco, affirmed that she had confidence in Schumer’s ability to lead the Democratic caucus in the Senate going forward, but argued that the Brooklyn Democrat made too many concessions to Republicans when he abruptly announced that he would vote to advance the GOP-crafted government funding bill.
“I myself don’t give away anything for nothing,” Pelosi said. “I think that’s what happened the other day.”
