Columbia University announced Thursday it has expelled or suspended students who expressed anti-Israel sentiments while occupying a campus building last spring. The Ivy League school has also revoked the diplomas of some graduates.
Columbia’s judicial board issued “multi-year suspensions, temporary degree revocations, and expulsions” related to the forcible takeover of Hamilton Hall, the New York university said in a campus-wide email. The number of punished students was not provided.
The announcement comes as Columbia faces a fierce crackdown from the Trump administration over the elite school’s failure to protect Jewish students and punish those engaging in antisemitism on campus.

Bravo. I suppose "better late then never" applies here. Sadly for the cretins of Columbia's judical board, ethics have no real value. The bottom line is money as the great motivator. I say "kick them all to the curb."

For Columbia, money talks, Hamas BS walks. Looks like the economics department explained to the administration that 'business is business' and the customer, in this case the US goobernment, is always right!

Too little, too late. I wonder what motivates university to take action now? Could it be that the president is withholding funds from them?

Parent: "What are you doing home from school so early?"
Student: "I got expelled for protesting the treatment of rapists and murderers. It is so unfair!"
Parent: "Get a job. Your rent is $800 a month and does not include meals."

Suspensions are like a 'timeout'. Not a real punishment. FTA: 'The number of punished students was not provided.' Still trying to figure out how to make a handful sound like a lot. If their response was just, valid and commensurate...they would tell us.

Good! I note the protesters were also arrested for trespassing but the charges were dropped for most, unlike the J6-ers.

Their $400 million annual Christmas present from the US Taxpayers should be gone permanently. It's not like the university and its leadership did not know that it was wrong to support the fake palestinians and allow the harassment.

American business can cooperate by not ever hiring Columbia graduates that speak with Arabic accents. You know they all share the same bias and philosophy. Those people are like democrats, thinking with the same hive mind and usually thinking wrongly.

Folks,
It's what our CIA has been doing in other countries for decades and may be behind these protests.
“For some time I have been disturbed by the way the CIA has been diverted from its original assignment,” wrote former president Harry Truman in the Washington Post on December 22, 1963. It was exactly one month after the assassination of President Kennedy.
The CIA needs to be dismantled

This is a token pathetic attempt. They’re going to have to do much better than that. Or forfeit federal grants altogether.

Reportedly at least half of the current student body at Columbia University are foreign students who pay whatever the required full tuition costs are to the University. Reportedly many of those full tuition costs actually paid by the governments of the foreign students countries of citizenship, that are governments adversarial to, and even potential future enemies of the USA. Remember almost all foreign students are aliens, which means that they are not citizens or nationals of the USA. All aliens in the USA, who are in the USA on temporary F-1 or J-1 student visas or who are Permanent Resident Aliens (green card holders) are subject to the US Immigration laws passed by Congress. In that respect they can only remain in the USA legally as long as they abide by those immigration laws, otherwise they are subject to arrest and deportation, especially when it comes to legitimate national security grounds like giving support to foreign terrorist organizations. Reportedly Columbia University has endowments in the bank in amounts ranging in the several billions of dollars, so why is the US Government handing that university reportedly four hundred million dollars of taxpayers money every year?

To really make it even more memorable, make them hug and kiss a Jewish student, while telling them they're sorry. s/o
