Elissa Slotkin Hammered for Claiming Americans
Are Like Teenagers Before Their 'Brain

In what can only be accurately described as a case study in projection, Democrat Senator Elissa Slotkin (MI) said Americans in the Trump era are like teenagers whose brains have yet to fully form. Pot, meet kettle. To complete the irony, Slotkin's comments were made as a guest with the ladies of "The View" on Tuesday morning. "We're about to turn 250 years old, right? We're still pretty young for a country," she explained. "These are, like, our angry teenage years. We are going through this push and pull where we're happy, we're sad." "We want this, we want that, and what do you do when you have a teenager threatening themselves and others?

Comments:

How very condescending of her. Shades of Hagzilla Clinton!!

As is usual for a Democrat they are projecting. The saying is "if you're under 30 and not a liberal, you don't have a heart, but if you are over 30 and not conservative, you don't have a brain"

I'm a little tired of not so well educated celebrities and politicians saying we, Americans, are not too smart. Look at our country. Look at the millions who broke the law just to come live and work here. Evidently we built something wonderful. Not too smart people can do that. Now not too smart people can spout off and sound foolish, as we see every day, Senator Slotkin.

What she's admitting to is 18-20 year olds should not be voting since their brains aren't fully formed yet. I would be okay not allowing the same to enlist in the services unless it was one of the Academy's to help bolster that argument and take away the main reason the 26th amendment was passed.

They just can't help themselves. They are not just digging a hole they are at the top of the Empire State Building. They have just stepped into the elevator and the door has shut. And all the cables break and they are falling to the 1st floor. Honestly I cannot wait until they crash and burn. So tired of the snotty, snarky, elitist attitude. They are of the belief they are our superiors, our betters. They are boring, dislikeable jerks.

I don't understand how she got elected in Michigan. Her connection to MIchigan is a family-owned mean processing company, to which she benefits as an heir. Most of her life since leaving for college has not been spent in Michigan. Most of Michigan outside of the Detroit area is conservative. She is a typical East Coast,DC liberal. Michigan voted for Trump and it voted for her? It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I did a little research on her. It turns out her father, if as a Republican like she claims, donated to Obama's and Biden's campaigns. Her mother, who sadly died before Elissa went into politics, was a gay activist who was living with another woman. Her "farm" is apparently not actually operating as a farm and her residency when she ran for Congress appeared to be manipulated, with her lease ending a week after the election.

The Trump administration requested the Supreme Court allow a ban on President Donald Trump’s executive order ending birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens to be partially lifted. In a court filing, Sarah M. Harris, the acting solicitor general, wrote that the Trump administration’s request was a “modest” one to “limit the pause to ‘parties actually within the courts’ power,'” according to the New York Times. The court request from the Trump administration comes after “three federal courts, in Massachusetts, Maryland and Washington State, had issued directives temporarily pausing” Trump’s executive order, according to the outlet. On January 20, Trump signed an executive order

Since returning to the White House in January, President Donald J. Trump has been met with an unprecedented legal onslaught from far-left activist judges and groups determined to sabotage his administration at every turn. Appearing on The War Room with Steve Bannon, Josh Hammer, Senior Counsel for the Article III Project, warned that what America is witnessing is not just judicial activism—it’s an outright judicial insurrection. This is similar to how the communist left attacked him using a cadre of radical activist judges his first time in office. Say what you will about Donald Trump, nobody can argue that he doesn’t possess an amazing superpower. Actually, he has several superpowers, but his most powerful may be the ability to convince his opponents to defend the least popular possible positions just because he supports them. Not just contrary positions, not just positions that reasonable people can disagree with, but insanely unpopular positions that all normal people look at and are repelled by. There’s not a garbage hill they won’t choose to die on. It’s an incredibly useful superpower to have. Of course, the most recent one is the 80/20 polling proposition against men pretending to be women

You can’t make this stuff up. During an appearance on "The Chris Cuomo Project," Carville declared,

Remember the movie (or the novel) “Sophie’s Choice"? Meryl Streep won an Oscar for playing a woman whom the Nazis posed with a dilemma: choose one of her two children to send to the gas chamber, or else the Nazis would execute both of them. The choice haunted her after the war ended. It’s a heartrending thought, and, sure, it’s a bit extreme for a metaphor, but in the fight over this continuing resolution, the Democrats are faced with what I’ll call Schumer’s Choice. The fate of the government is in the hands of Democrat senators now, and neither choice is good for them. The continuing resolution gives the Democrats fits

Gavin Newsom is a bust, both metaphorically and literally. The California governor, who's trying to take his overspending and underperforming record national, is now in the middle of a bimbroglio over an expensive bronze bust of him displayed at San Francisco City Hall. But if you dig deeper, the true story is even more appalling: Columbia is using the prestige of its elite undergraduate school to bring in thousands of mediocre foreigners who want a Columbia degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar field. Columbia admits them because they pay full-freight tuition, boosting their bottom line while glutting the American job market and lowering wages for STEM workers.
