The Trump administration is expanding its mass deportation effort to include families in the country illegally — and ICE is opening two previously-shuttered Texas detention centers to hold them, the Department of Homeland Security confirmed to The Post Thursday.
The families targeted by this new wave of President Trump’s mass deportation raids “all … have final deportation orders from federal judges,” said DHS spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) said Thursday he would introduce resolutions to expel Democrats from their committees for their violations of decorum during the Rep. Al Green (D-TX) censure vote, likening them to children.
“Today, a group of House Democrats broke decorum during the censure of Rep. Al Green and, after multiple warnings, refused to heed @SpeakerJohnson‘s order,” Ogles wrote. “I am drafting privileged resolutions to remove each of them from their committees. If you want to act like a child in the Halls of Congress, you will be treated like a child.”

Social Security is as big as government programs get. Naturally, even a glance at it with DOGE’s magnifying glass found plenty that seemed — charitably — not quite right.
“According to the Social Security database, these are the numbers of people in each age bucket with the death field set to FALSE,” Department of Government Efficiency chief Elon Musk stated via X on February 16. “Maybe Twilight is real, and there are a lot of vampires collecting Social Security.”
“Yes, there are far more ‘eligible’ Social Security numbers than there are citizens in the USA. This might be the biggest fraud in history.” Indeed, the Social Security numbers that Musk found,

Senators from a key health panel on Thursday bombarded Dr. Marty Makary, President Donald Trump’s nominee to run the Food and Drug Administration, with an onslaught of questions ranging from the safety of abortion pills to seed oils.
Makary, a surgeon from Johns Hopkins University, received a warm welcome from both sides of the aisle in a cordial confirmation hearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee. Democrats and Republicans alike asked him tough questions on many topics.
As FDA commissioner, Makary would oversee the safety and efficacy of drugs, vaccines, foods, and medical devices, playing a central role in Trump’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda.

A border wall upgrade construction project canceled by President Joe Biden is back underway in the Texas Rio Grande Valley.
U.S. Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks announced that the Trump administration ordered the restart of a Biden-era-canceled border wall upgrade project along the Texas border with Mexico.
Banks reported that the project will replace six-foot guard rails with 18-foot bollard panels. They are designed to “provide impedance and denial capabilities” to illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico into Texas.
” These panels were originally planned for installation during the prior Trump Administration, but the contracts were cancelled (sic) by the Biden Administration,” Banks stated.

Crying poor.
Hunter Biden has asked a federal judge to drop the laptop hacking lawsuit he slapped against a former Trump White House aide — because he’s “millions of dollars” in debt, “exacerbated” by losing a home in the Los Angeles wildfires, court filings show.
The embattled former first son, 55, blamed the recent fires, as well as dwindling sales from his artwork and memoir, for him being plagued by “significant debt” keeping him from “litigating this case” against Garrett Ziegler, according to a motion filed in federal court in California on Wednesday.

Democrat members of the House have released a new "Choose Your Fighter" promotional video, and Republicans should be terrified...that they'll die from laughter.
In it, an all-female cast of congressional Democrats and one "Bento Box Queen" (sorry, I'm out of the loop on who Suhlee Jessica Woo is) can be seen mimicking a video game's "player selection" screen, bobbing up and down, holding their fists up. Underneath each person are several bullet points, some denoting racial characteristics while others are supposed to be playful references. For example, did you know Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is a "trekkie" or that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is "not a morning person?"

U.S. President Donald Trump's administration is planning to revoke temporary legal status for some 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia, a senior Trump official and three sources familiar with the matter said, potentially putting them on a fast-track to deportation.
The move, expected as soon as April, would be a stunning reversal of the welcome Ukrainians received under President Joe Biden's administration.
The planned rollback of protections for Ukrainians was underway before Trump publicly feuded with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy last week. It is part of a broader Trump administration effort to strip legal status from more than 1.8 million migrants allowed to enter the U.S. under temporary

President Donald Trump is considering implementing a new travel ban on Muslim nations in the coming weeks.
Reuters first reported that Trump is mulling a new order that would impact Afghans and Pakistanis.
It comes after Trump's ban during his first term that kept travelers from seven total Muslim nations from entering the United States, which the Supreme Court upheld.
The president said on the campaign trail that he would expand his travel ban to include people from Gaza in the wake of the Hamas terror attack on Israel.
Trump is expected to announce several new executive orders later this afternoon as he marches full steam ahead during his first 100 days.

During the final months of the Biden administration, the National Institutes of Health awarded $28 million to a mysterious venture-backed company called Vaccine Company Inc., a biomedical firm founded in 2022 whose chief financial officer happens to be one of former president Joe Biden’s top COVID advisers.
To Sen. Joni Ernst (R., Iowa), the September 2024 grant from the NIH’s Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health doesn’t pass the smell test. Vaccine Company has left virtually no public footprint showing what it has done with the taxpayer funds, which the Biden administration doled out to a seemingly random post office box in Bethesda, Maryland. Ernst urged Health and Human Services

Ohio Republican Senator Bernie Moreno is blasting a handful of judges in his state for claiming that “emergency” powers allow them to invalidate federal immigration laws and to prevent ICE from rounding up and deporting illegal aliens.
Moreno ripped these “rogue judges,” and one judge in particular, for claiming that they have the power to block ICE immigration enforcement activities in Ohio.
In his March 4 letter, the senator criticized Franklin County Judge Kim Brown and warned her that “no one is above the law,” but added, “And yet, you’re giving illegal aliens a pass.”
