The White House announced Tuesday it would “give the power back to the people,” but the establishment media want it back.
Fox News Senior White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich took to social media Tuesday to protest a White House announcement that the White House would open up access to the press pool covering President Donald Trump and his administration.“For decades, a group of DC-based journalists, the White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA), has long dictated which journalists get to ask questions of the president of the United States in these most intimate spaces,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday. “Not anymore.”

Why is this news? Fox is main stream corporate media before they're anything else.

Those not in the know never realized Fox stopped being conservative years ago. And most of us stopped watching it.

Like the courts, the press has only the influence you give them.

Unfortunate, as I always liked her. She may be worried about having to give up her front-row-center seat in the briefing room.

"only representatives FROM our outlets can determine resources all those outlets have – such as staffing – in order to get the President’s message out to the largest possible audience, no matter the day or hour."
Which is an an absurdity. News is passed at internet speed and reach, which is instantaneously and everywhere. WHCA just wants to be able to control and interpret what Trump and his people say. Trump will NEVER get fair treatment from them. That's why they have been decimated by his accurate labels of "Fake News" and "Enemies of the American People". He has destroyed them. And he doesn't need them.
Now they want to reclaim their power to set the tone of the news. They don't deserve that privilege by themselves. Trump is opening things up to alt media that is willing to give him and his policies a fair shake. Instead of leading a lesson from what has happened to them, Big Media is arrogantly demanding that Trump restore their monopoly on news. That will happen about the same time Global Warming is proven to be true, as about 1 minute to never.
The funniest thing is that the media is so threatened by ONE SEAT they don't have. Of course that's not the issue. They HATE that Trump has this power over them and that the public doesn't trust their lies any longer. They can no longer set narratives or fake up stories. They know with their timorous grasp on news that even one contrary voice will undermine them.
Trump knows that as well and is jerking their chain. It's hilarious!

Rupert Murdoch wanted to modify his irrevocable trust “to grant his eldest son Lachlan in control of Fox News and News Corporation.” Lachlan, a Republican, “is said to hold his father’s conservative views” whereas the other three children are left-leaning and “have vowed to radically change the network, according to press reports.” The court ruled against Mr. Murdoch. With Roger Ailes as its founding CEO, the Fox News Channel appealed to a conservative audience, however, since Mr. Ailes’ departure from Fox News in 2016, programming has become a disappointment to conservatives for what seems to be less news reporting and more opinion reporting. Upon Mr. Rupert Murdoch’s passing, his three left-leaning children may likely follow through with their vow “to radically change the network.”

I didn't think that Fox would relinquish their spot to Newsmax quite this easily but you must do what the owners tell you to do. I'll still tune in to Gutfeld occasionally but the rest of it is toast. Fox should do a case study of CNN. Leftists never realize their mistakes until it's way too late.

despite the naysayers here who speak from NOT watching it, Fox dominates cable and did a lot to bring Trump victory, airing most of
his campaign rallies and giving him the mic whenever he wanted it. it does draw many more Dems now than a year ago so
we'll see if that changes things. right now the shows more often than not lean to Trump.

I stopped watching them when they called Arizona hours and hours before their polls closed. Newsmax is the best!
