Every Show Cancelled at the Kennedy Center
in Protest of Trump

Original Article

In a clear display of political bias, celebrities recently canceled multiple performances at the Kennedy Center in protest of President Donald Trump. Once celebrated for its commitment to artistic expression, this arts institution has allowed partisan politics to shape its programming decisions. Trump’s shakeup, in which he ousted 18 members of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts board and replaced them with a Trump-aligned majority, has made left-wing crybabies spiral into a black hole and flee the Washington, D.C. institution.

Yesterday, I visited the Kennedy Center website and found a page of the people who actually run the stage productions at the facility on a daily basis. There were Asians, Hispanics and Indians, but not a single White man or White woman. Today, I couldn't find the page. Have any of these scared cows been fired? Did they quit? Or did they take down the page because they wanted to make sure that people wouldn't learn about the exclusionary, racist hiring practices at this woke enterprise?

Can someone please point out to me where, in the Constitution, it gives the federal government the right or duty to establish a national "Center for the Performing Arts" and fund its activities? Anyone? Buehler? Are there not sufficient private outlets for the display of "talent" (italics needed in light of what passes for that these days) that the taxpayers of this and every succeeding generation is required to pay the wages of "artists" for their "perfomances"? The metal midgets and moral cretins who populate the ranks of our "performing artists" do not deserve public exhibition, let alone public funding.

What does the federal government have to do with the "arts?" Federally controlled or influenced arts is antithetical to our concept of government. I can see how it happens. The devil entices us with the idea that we put all our wealth into a strong central government we can create heaven on earth, it will be a paradise. We could have the greatest military the world has ever seen, except it gives power to a president that can threaten us with F-15s if we try to stand up to them - mind boggling. We can have the greatest science in the world except it produces a bunch of clapping seals willing to say anything the powers want to get those federal reserve notes. The greatest health care system imaginable, except they can use it to force you and your children to take a deadly jab or they will imprison any who defy them. What we need is a limited central government subject to checks and balances, it's the crooks we don't need. I need a Trump brain to wrap my mind around the out and out magnitude of their embezzlement by those we have elected.

There are plenty of corporations and potential donors who would be proud to sponsor outstanding performances. I don't mean outstanding as classified by Hollywood or liberal media. Musicians, actors, singers, etc. that excel in their skill and whose content inspires and reflects the greatness of the USA, instead of egotistic, rants that degrade the USA and any moral values. The Federal government has no business paying for this, but they do have a duty to keep true enemies of our better culture and basic values, from soiling a building taxpayers paid for.

A parolee just released after eight years in prison for sexually assaulting a young boy and throwing him off a rooftop, is now accused of raping a 15-year-old girl in a Bronx stairwell, cops and sources said. Casmine Aska, 29, allegedly pounced on the teen in an elevator at 140 Bellamy Loop in Co-Op City Thursday, forcing her into a stairwell and raping her, cops said. He was arrested Friday night and charged with first-degree rape, police said. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was an invention of Louis B. Mayer. Mayer wasn’t an “artist.” Mayer was a businessman and the co-founder of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios. In the late 1920s, he recognized that unions would soon cut into his bottom line. To stave off the rise of unions in filmmaking, Mayer brought top producers, actors, and “Arts and Sciences” guys together and sweet-talked them into patting themselves on the back. It likely wasn't a hard sell. Actors love actors – particularly the one in the mirror. Douglas Fairbanks Sr. was elected president. What was next? Actors needed a vehicle to publicly

I write from what I suspect is a growing minority position within some conservative circles: Namely, I still believe it's in America's best interests to assist Ukraine in standing up to Russia. The Russians are open to peace because Putin knows they have used more resources than expected - a lot more - in trying to take the country. And, I suspect, they are worried that their support from China might dry up because of all the resources they have used to make what amounts to little gain in Ukraine. So while everyone is accusing President Donald Trump of bowing to Putin's whims, the truth is a bit more complex.
