Easy, the government agency gets the money, they distribute it to an NGO. The NGO makes a campaign contribution to John Doe. John Doe pockets the money that was not spent in the campaign.

As a result of the Republican run States cooperating with the Federal Government, specifically ICE, to remove large numbers of illegal aliens from the USA back to their home countries, the reaction of a lot of illegal aliens will be to relocate to the Democrat run so-called sanctuary cities and states where they are led to believe the leftist and progressive Democrats will protect them from ICE and from being removed from the USA. That’s exactly what the Democrats are angling for, as the Democrats want as many millions of illegal aliens as possible to be counted in the next US Census, specifically in the Democrat run sanctuary cities and States, thus causing, by those illegal alien census numbers alone, the redistricting a yet unknown number of congressional districts to be moved out of their current locations and into the Democrat run sanctuary cities and states, where the resulting elections will be bound to be won by leftist and progressive Democrat candidates thus giving the Democrats the majority of seats in the House of Representatives and they hope control of that body of the Congress on into the future. Beyond that, the leftist and progressive Democrats have supported “open borders” to allow as many millions of Third World origin illegal aliens as possible to unlawfully gain entry to the USA. Especially those illegal aliens who once in the USA fit within the minority group categories as specified in Democrat identity politics. The covert long-term reason for that is to use mass uncontrolled illegal immigration to, by changing the ethnic and racial population demographics of the country thus transforming the USA into a future minority-majority country, where a vast coalition of both domestic and foreign origin minority groups, by supporting and voting for the leftist and progressive Democrat political agenda dictate the future politics of the USA, with the ultimate political objective of transforming the USA into some sort of yet to be defined socialist utopia.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday night didn’t rule out removing Mayor Eric Adams from office after allegations emerged that the feds would drop their criminal case against Hizzoner in exchange for his help with President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration. Hochul, the only official in the state who has the power to boot Adams from his position, revealed on MSNBC that she’s consulting with officials about the mayor’s future. The governor told host Rachel Maddow that she read a letter penned by now-former acting Manhattan US Attorney Danielle Sassoon that claimed Adams’ legal team offered a “quid pro quo” in hopes of seeing his federal charges get dismissed.

The Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas and other Palestinians on October 7, 2023 could have been released a long time ago had the Biden administration exerted pressure on Qatar to use its good relations with the Islamist group to force it to do so. All Qatar had to do was to summon the Hamas leaders in Doha and give them an ultimatum to release all the hostages immediately or face deportation from the Gulf state. It is hard to see how the Hamas leaders would have been able to say no to their major political and financial patrons and backers.... The Qataris were never under the slightest pressure.

A federal judge Friday evening refused to block the Labor Department from giving Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access to confidential systems or firing employees for refusing to hand over the credentials. U.S. District Judge John Bates found the plaintiffs hadn’t show enough injury to have legal standing to bring the lawsuit. “This data includes the medical and financial records of millions of Americans,” wrote Bates. “But on the current record, plaintiffs have failed to establish standing. So although the Court harbors concerns about defendants’ alleged conduct, it must deny plaintiffs’ motion at this time.”

Possessing nuclear weapons provides any regime with a protective shield against foreign intervention, removing the fear of retaliation. Given this reality, no diplomatic effort -- regardless of its structure -- will convince Iran to relinquish its nuclear ambitions voluntarily. For the Iranian regime, the tactic of negotiating to buy time has paid off really well. Iran successfully reached a deal with the Obama administration which provided it with financial relief, and diplomatic legitimacy, and the promise of nuclear weapons in just a few years, which just so happens to be this coming October.
