Former President Barack Obama kicked off Valentine’s Day with a flirty message to his wife Michelle affirming she’s still the one after more than three decades together.
“Thirty-two years together and you still take my breath away,” the former president wrote in a post on X Friday.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, @MichelleObama,” Obama, 63, added, along with a selfie of the two beaming together. (Photo) Michelle Obama responded to her hubby with a sweet post of her own.

As we reported, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was confirmed by the Senate on Thursday, 52-48, to be the new Secretary of Health and Human Services, despite the failed efforts of Democrats to derail him. Kennedy was then sworn in, in the Oval Office by Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch, and both he and President Donald Trump delivered remarks. Given the drama around Kennedy, particularly from the Democrats, you would think that this would be big news to show — one way or another, that it was pretty historic. Kennedy delivered some very powerful and touching remarks in which he praised Trump. I'll tease that we have

For your edification, here’s a selection of recent headlines published in our major news outlets:
“Elon Musk’s political power grab threatens democracy and the economy.” “How Trump’s war on federal workers threatens democracy.”
“Trump showdown with courts puts U.S. on the brink of abandoning democracy.”
“Trump’s blitz to expand his power is direct threat to democracy, experts say.”
I could find a few dozen more if I wanted, but I think you get the point. The Washington swamp and its media allies have settled on their line of attack against the new Trump administration, and it’s a tired one: Our democracy is in peril!

A Russian drone struck the containment shell protecting the radioactive reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, causing significant damage, Ukraine claimed Friday morning.
The protective covering that was placed around Reactor 4 in 2016 sustained a large hole from the unmanned aircraft.
“Last night, a Russian attack drone with a high-explosive warhead struck the shelter protecting the world from radiation at the destroyed 4th power unit of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant,” Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelensky said Friday.
“This is a terrorist attack for the entire world,” he added.

In announcing the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, Trump gave the world a brilliant masterclass in realpolitik. Let’s break it down:
If there is one thing we should be able to agree on, at least the few of us who have opened a history book, it is that ethnic hatred courses just under the skin of civilized men ready to erupt from the slightest of provocations.
This has been the case throughout history. The Ancient Greek city-states, from Athens to Sparta, from Thebes to Corinth, despite having so much in common, would periodically descend into brutal wars over seemingly nothing. This paradigm has continued unabated for millennia.

BRUSSELS, Belgium — Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Thursday that he is paying “very close attention” to who is executing the lawful orders from President Donald Trump and that woke generals “will have a different job in due time.”
“I’m paying very close attention. There’s plenty of three- and four-star generals up for promotion or up for new positions, and there will already be a few folks that that we’ve identified who will have different jobs in due time,” the defense secretary said.“I’m not here to declare anybody woke and they’re out. We’re watching the the execution of culture change and willingness to support

The Trump administration is preparing to designate a series of Mexican drug cartels and two from Central and South America as foreign terrorist organizations. The move comes as Mexico continues to experience unprecedented levels of violence, including the widespread use of landmines and improvised explosive devices, despite empty government claims that crime has decreased and impunity has ended.
A document reviewed by Breitbart Texas revealed that the U.S. State Department is expected to designate the Sinaloa Cartel, Cartel Jalisco New Generation, The Gulf Cartel, The Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas (Northeast Cartel), Carteles Unidos, and Familia Michoacana as foreign terrorist organizations on February 19.

A military aircraft transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the Munich Security Conference in Germany was forced to return to Washington Thursday night after it encountered a “mechanical issue.”
“This evening, en route from Washington to Munich, the plane on which Secretary Rubio is flying experienced a mechanical issue,” State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said in a statement.
“The plane has turned around and is returning to Joint Base Andrews,” she added, referring to the Maryland air base just outside Washington, DC.
“The Secretary intends to continue his travel to Germany and the Middle East on a separate aircraft,” Bruce said.

President Donald Trump locked horns with CNN's Kaitlan Collins as he signed a reciprocal tariff plan at the White House Thursday, saying her network has "no credibility."
As he held up the signed plan for the cameras of the press gathered in the Oval Office, Collins began asking, "Mr. President, you won the White House, in part, because of high inflation. If your tariffs make prices go up-"
"Excuse me," Trump replied, "We haven't asked you to speak yet." (Photo) Trump then answered questions from reporters about the military conflict in Ukraine, saying he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin wants the war to end.

The Trump administration has sent 53 Venezuelan nationals to the Guantánamo Bay detention facility in Cuba as the effort to deport criminal illegals gains steam.
The 53 criminal illegals were not identified by name but are now being housed in the military-operated detention center where some of the world’s most dangerous terrorists have been kept since the attacks on our homeland in 2001, the New York Times reported.Officials from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Defense Department have not made any statements on the more than four dozen detainees, but did confirm they had entered the U.S. illegally and are “violent gang members and other high-threat illegal aliens.”

A $20 billion Biden administration green-energy slush fund was collecting interest at a private bank and is being distributed without proper oversight, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin reveals in an exclusive interview.
President Joe Biden’s EPA parked $20 billion at the financial institution, which The Post has learned is Citibank, as part of the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. But the awardees weren’t announced until August 2024 and Citibank not brought in until September — after Biden’s disastrous June debate performance led him to withdraw from re-election in July, making a very different race with Kamala Harris the Democratic nominee.
