Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., faced widespread mockery after launching a tipline to "expose corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety." On Monday, Schumer shared a link calling on "whistleblowers" to report violations, arguing they "are a vital part of Congressional oversight to hold the administration accountable." The categories whistleblowers can report include "retaliation," "wasteful spending," "fraud," "criminal activity," and "other." "Today, I’m calling on our brave public servants," the Senate Minority Leader wrote as he shared the tipline form on X.

Abuses of power? You mean like spending $59 million in ONE WEEK providing illegal aliens with luxury hotel accomodations while NC Americans live in tents? Like Spending $20 million on Muppets for Iraq? You mean like funding a trans opera in Columbia? You mean like FBI agents helping criminal Venezuelan gangs avoid arrest so they can continue to prey on Americans? THOSE are abuse of power, you rotten scoundrel.

#5: No need to make up a crime. The Schmuckster is already captured on video doing it: His "speech" in front of the Supreme Court in 2020 where he threatened Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch is an open and shut case of incitement. Had he uttered those words in the well of the Senate, they'd have been considered protected forms of speech, but since he did it outside the Capitol building and in public, it's incitement. I understand the DoJ was ordered to begin the case against Schumer even before AG Bondi was confirmed. I'm not optimistic about Schumer getting convicted in a DC court, but even if he isn't, the presentation of the case will put his reputation in the... proper light.

Fetterman says there 'isn't a constitutional

A prominent Democrat is arguing that "there isn’t a constitutional crisis" happening right now with the Trump administration. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., reportedly made the remark to HuffPost on Wednesday, the same day White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt declared that "the real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges in liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block President Trump's basic executive authority."

Former President Joe Biden left a terrible legacy: the border catastrophe, chaos and disorder abroad, increased crime, oppressive wokeness. But for today’s purposes, consider the damage done by Biden’s economic policies. Inflation took away 20% of people’s purchasing power in a short period of time. Even when the rate of inflation slowed, it is still, right now, rising faster than economists — or anybody else — are comfortable with. This week there will be new numbers for inflation in January, and the message again will be that Biden brought inflation on but was unable to fully get rid of it. Now that is President Donald Trump’s job.

People around here are used to the trucks that deliver paperwork to the old Pennsylvania limestone mine. Here, over 700 locals work as employees of the Office of Personnel Management processing the retirement papers of federal government workers. Everyone around here knows of its existence. In fact, a lot of people around here either work there or have a family member who works there.Once upon a time, the mines and quarries around Boyers were filled with limestone and coal, which powered and built the country, like hundreds of places across Pennsylvania. Work in those mines provided families with a decent wage and a reason to stay rooted in the region.
Trump hasn’t created a ‘constitutional

Not a sentence said by a Democrat these days doesn’t have a subject, a verb and “constitutional crisis.” President Trump wanting to halt spending while he reviews a government in massive debt is an “assault on Democracy,” a “circumvention of Congress” and, in typical understatement, an “executive coup.” Balderdash. While Trump must jump through certain hoops to offer buyouts or pare down departments, it was never the Founders’ intention for career government employees to outrank the president. As Hamilton wrote in Federalist No. 70, “energy in the executive is the leading character in the definition of good government.”

What’s happening right now is that Democrats, having been thrown out of power by American voters in a landslide victory for Trump, have decided they’re going to deploy a widely-used tactic from Trump’s first term to thwart the president’s agenda: use the federal judiciary. Under the false pretext that the lower federal courts are part of a “coequal branch of government” with the executive, they’re aiming to shut down Trump’s reform efforts with a fusillade of preliminary injunctions. In recent days dozens of lawsuits have been filed against the Trump administration by Democrat attorneys general and various left-wing groups.

The founding Senate DOGE Caucus member filled 26 pages with examples of what he believes are government shortcomings and inefficiencies, as well as the money they waste. In a letter to readers, Lankford wrote, "My goal is to create a roadmap for DOGE, identifying key areas within the federal government and solutions to fix them."

Democrats are anything but democratic. In the past, their idea of governance was overreach and abuse of power carried through unelected bureaucrats, intimidation attempts by radicalized mobs disguised as protesters, and a weaponized judicial system, especially rogue judges, to impose their will on the public. As a famous quote often attributed to Mark Twain goes, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” Once again, the Democratic Party, when thwarted at the ballot box, has turned to judges to impose its will on the public.

If they don't already, Democrats will soon wish that President Donald Trump had won reelection in 2020. It's staggering what Trump has already accomplished. Border crossings have plummeted. Trump ended DEI in the federal government. He reversed a 1965 executive order that required companies with federal contracts to put affirmative-action-style quotas in place. He stopped federal funding of transgender surgeries and treatments for minors. There isn't enough room to mention all his accomplishments in areas like energy, foreign policy and the military.

Elon Musk announced on Tuesday that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was looking into a limestone mine in Pennsylvania, where the cost-cutting organization says federal employee retirements are processed manually using a system that could take months. Musk told reporters about the mine on Tuesday during an appearance with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, as the president prepared to sign an executive order concerning the billionaire’s work leading DOGE. "And then we're told this is actually, I think, a great anecdote, because we're told the most number of people that could retire possibly in a month is 10,000," Musk said. "We're like, well, what? Why is that?

The Democrats’ reaction to the Department of Government Efficiency’s necessary mission might seem a bit excessive. But it is understandable. Their taxpayer-funded slush fund has been exposed. Rather than joining with Elon Musk, who is leading DOGE to root out federal waste and fraud, and improve the transparency of the murky federal leviathan, the Democrats are attacking him. At a rally a week ago outside the Capitol, Democratic Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and Massachusetts Democratic Rep. Ayanna Pressley, chanted “Elon Musk must go” along with a rabble that seems eager to do harm to the South African billionaire.
