The president of El Salvador on Monday offered to house convicted US citizens in his country’s “mega-prison” and take in deported criminal illegal migrants of any nationality after a meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Rubio, 53, said the deal struck with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele represents “the most unprecedented, extraordinary, extraordinary migratory agreement anywhere in the world,” in remarks from the capital city of San Salvador.
“We can send them and he will put them in his jails,” the secretary of state said of migrants set to be deported from the US. “And, he’s also offered to do the same for dangerous criminals currently in custody

The mega-prison hellhole is still a step up from the DC Gulag and Riker's Island.
Imprisonment in El Salvador - - a better life for most.

I dunno, #2. I can think of quite a few who need to rot in a mega-prison hellhole, like those who wrongfully prosecuted Trump and J6ers, those who stole the election, those who stole MY money, etc., etc.

This might help. Those El Salvador prisons are the last place our criminal aliens would want to go. Except for the weather, they are worse than the Russian gulags.

# 4. A piece of me agrees with you. Yet, if we start sending « election stealers » for example, there (and they do deserve it), we are no better than the tyrant class using gulags, devils island, the Bastille. I am strongly in favor of reducing gov miscreants to poverty, of public stockages, prison and chain gangs, and other ways of shaming, but not brutality and rape in remote prisons, or even Riker’s,island.

This should be a good incentive for those people to go home voluntarily. I would not wish such a place on Satan himself.

I'm totally against vengeance, but I'm all for equal protection--and equal penalties under the law. I was thinking prisons outside the country might be preferable to prisons inside the country because any prisoners in U.S. prisons will simply be released the next time a Dem president wins election.

The US Government will not send US Citizen criminals to serve their time in El Salvadorian jails and prisons. The is just a media talking point designed to mislead people.

Be careful what you wish for. I can see the Democrats (and RINOs) sending their political opponents to Gitmo or El Salvador. They already have a record of rounding up their political opponents.

Considering the conditions of the jails in Georgia under fanny's control...perhaps that would be a better place...it is reported the cause of many inmates dying is.... because of vermin and disgusting sanitary conditions....fanny doesn't have to waste time in court with the accused inmates...she just has to wait till they die in jail...all the while using taxpayer's money to travel luxuriously with her lover at all the best spots across our country....
