America is headed for a depopulation crisis.
That, at least, is the major takeaway of a new report released this month by the Congressional Budget Office. According to the CBO, if current trends continue, American deaths will outnumber American births in a mere eight years. With a united Republican government, we have an opportunity to address this upcoming crisis by building on the economic success of President Trump’s first term and making it easier for Americans to start or expand their families.

Restore the family ideal. It is the foundation of all successful society. One honorable mother and one honorable father raising honorable children. There is no higher calling.

As concerned as I am with America’s Death Spiral vis-a-vis the existing population, I am perhaps even more concerned with America’s Transmogrification Spiral vis-a-vis the changing population taking place befire our eyes and if you dont know what I mean by that, think what’s happening in Great Britain, my point being that if presented the forced choice between death or living in an America populated by and run by ninth-century religious barbarians, I think I would join Socrates and take the hemlock.

For honest people to raise children the government makes it more and more costly. Notice that if you are illegal, childrearing costs are absolved. Healthcare, food, shelter...and what taxes?
Clean up the mess first.

The number one task of any leader/government is to assure the birth rate continues the population.
That requires an average of 2.2 babies per woman. The US has been substantially lower than that for at least
a half century.
The popular culture needs to stop it's hate for intact self sufficient two parent families with children.
Single mothers are not heroes. They made a bad mistake with their marriage if they even had one. Nothing heroic about that.
Mothers that decide to keep their babies instead of aborting them should not be made out as villains.
Sarah Palin kept her baby and the media hates her for it.
And now a substantial number of young people endorse extinction.

I remember when this country had half the population we have now and we were great. Its not quantity, its quality that matters. Americans have no morals. Young women of today demand their ideal man be over 6 ft tall with a 6 figure income all while they themselves spend their time showing off their goods online. There is little desire among the younger men to be supporting promiscuous American liberal women. We nned Christianity and morals back before we even think about having new babies.

Simple. Use the Tax Code. Any woman, not on welfare, that has four or more kids-never has to pay a dime of Income tax, ever.
Will turn our negative demographics on a dime.

This isn't just a U.S. problem. China and all of Europe will experience this as well. It's considered such a problem in China, that their one child per couple policy that was in place for decades has now been removed. The only place where population growth isn't considered a problem is in the middle east and in Africa.

I have 10 Grandchildren. All are College educated and working. Only Two are Married with Children. They are ages 26 to 40! Most of them don't date, but run in groups when going out to eat or to a Concert. I just don't understand it. They are all good looking, well groomed and have good jobs! I guess times have changed. I keep telling them if they plan to "someday" have a Family, their best years are slipping away! They don't care. They like the freedom of the life they have now and don't seem to be interested in what their life might look like when they're in their 50's or 60's!

Never married. Never had any children. Guess I'm part of the population decline.
My Christian education taught me no sex and no children outside of wedlock. Guess that lesson stuck. I recognize the challenge of raising children. Great way to go into debt. I saw plenty of families making six-digit salaries and in debt up to their eyeballs. Saw more than a few marriages that were train wrecks. Don't want to raise children in poverty. Don't want to raise savages so better know what I am doing and find a spouse that knows what they are doing. Didn't even start dating until I was in my thirties, making money, and felt ready for a serious relationship. Basically, I matured first. What I found was a woman 18 years my senior that could no longer have children. I was content with that.

The US standard of living is going down. At the same time, the desire for material wealth is increasing.
Where once just the man working was sufficient to support a family, it now often takes both the man and the woman working to pay the mortgage, the taxes, the insurance.
Many women work full time and will not or cannot stop working so as to have and raise children.
This is reinforced by the Media, who ridicule women who do what is really the most important function in society, raising good children.
At the same time, the welfare crowd, not working, not paying taxes, not paying insurance, or not paying for housing, have no such restraints.
Is there the political courage to change the policies that have created this situation, particularly in the face of the media onslaught that would ensue?
I am afraid that there is not.

1) sweeping ban on birth control and abortions 2) tax incentives for marriage and children that increases with every child 3) promote large families in schools, media and Hollywood 4) offer opportunities for young people to meet such as dances 5) ban homosexual marriage and bring back anti sodomy laws.
I have 8 kids ages 31-13 and only the eldest is married with no kids. None of my other children have ever dated nor seem motivated to do so including my almost 26 yr old daughter (who is gorgeous and a model). Its depressing for Mr Pinkpanther and I to think we could end up with no grandchildren.

You could be right #14. My children were born 1962 and 1965. No car seats and they survived. My great niece is 8 now and I think just got out of a car seat about a year ago. Good grief!
