Rev. Al Sharpton and about 100 of his followers descended on an East Harlem Costco Saturday in support of the company’s commitment to controversial diversity, equity and inclusion practices.
“We’re supporting those who are not rolling back DEI,” Patrice Perry, crisis director for Sharpton’s nonprofit, the National Action Network, told The Post.
“It’s very important to be here,” Perry added.
(Photo) The demonstration was in response to President Trump’s crackdown on DEI initiatives this week, which put federal employees working on such initiatives on paid leave and shuttered offices dedicated to it.

Sharpton is an obnoxious race hustler, and always has been a fraud, too.

Al, the professional racist will never ever admit that DEI is racist.

If Sharpon is your ally.................. You are seriously morally corrupt. Yet another example of a fine company populated by management that has no idea who their customers are. Ripe for failure or takeover.

Al Sharpton is a Dem-paid anti-civil rights troll. He talks a good game but works to keep African Americans dependent on Democrats. He sold his soul, long ago. Now apparently, he works for the Chinese.
I'm a Costco member, but maybe not for much longer.

$25 does not go very far at Costco as evidenced by the nearly empty shopping carts and the Sharpton neophytes hand carrying their selected purchases. Then toss in a couple of white liberals to project unity in the boondoggle of DEI. But business is business and the real color of the day and forever is green.

Not yet arrested for his millions in back taxes or his participation in the deaths at the fire at Freddie's Fashion Mart.

Maybe the Sharpton followers will shift their shoplifting to Costco instead of CVS.

I was unaware that Costco was into DEI before. I signed up several years ago, shopped there years ago when they were new, but only shopped there a couple of times. Wasn't worth it to me. Some things with good prices but not much difference to other outlets.
I think the companies were mostly following the trend of the day and showing that they were "down with the struggle" but the wind is blowing from a different direction now. You shouldn't mix politics into your business anyway. You could ask Bud Light about that.

The owner of COSTCO is a huge Lib. Al Sharpton, in 1995 in Harlem, NY, instigated a protest that resulted in a fire being set in the stores he was protesting and eight people were killed. In addition, the rev Al, makes his money hustling DEI crap. Not only is he a race hustler but he is a money hustler very often involving taxpayer money. So he ain't happy at Trump's DEI edict. If COSTCO is happy having Sharpton as their spokesman it's time to boycott COSTCO. Goodbye Costco.

The Reverend Sharpton's National Action Network is part of the over One Trillion dollar per year National Action Network Programs that provides 'training' for activistas such as Sharpton and Obama. They also operate Operation Head Start- Boot Camp for the Welfare State- free babysitting during the day for pre-school children so the no-job parents can take the limo to the casino and waste our hard-earned money.

Sharpton's ‘buy-cott’ won't get off the ground.
His followers only 'shop' when and where they get a 'five finger' discount.
Costco charging a membership fee means that Sharpton's crowd never darkens Costco's door.

Common sense would tell Costco that getting anyway connected with the Rev. Al Sharpton would be bad for their business all over the country. If they pay him off he will go away!

Most of Al's acolytes utilize the "five finger discount," so if more of them go "shopping," Costco's profit margin will disappear.
