A prominent Hollywood talent manager believes that Kamala Harris’ loss to President Donald Trump in November shows that Hollywood no longer drives the culture as it once did since the plethora of celebrities who endorsed Harris failed to alter the outcome of the election.
“Hollywood doesn’t matter as much as it thinks it matters,” the unnamed talent manager with A-list clients told Vulture. “You had the biggest stars in the world support Kamala Harris. She couldn’t have drawn more powerful advocates. And it didn’t move the needle. What does that tell you? It’s unsettling because the people and things you hold in high esteem don’t drive the culture.

No celebrity endorsement influenced my vote. What governed by vote: Inflation, open border and crime. The genius analysts just don't get it..... we voted the way we did because of inflation, open border and crime.

Hollywood hadn't realized how little they matter in our lives. Once they stopped making entertainment for us and started pushing a woke agenda, they lost most of the country. Maybe now they get it.

The most vacuous, unlikeable, incompetent moron ever to run for any office in any country in the history of Planet Earth may have had something to do with her loss.

This feels like when Toto pulled the curtain back to show that Oz, the Great and Powerful was just another guy. At least "Oz" had a little better grounding. He knew he was a fraud. The actors in Hollyweird haven't figured that out yet, even if the money people know it's true. Maybe they never will.
The breaking of Hollywood is another loss of support of dems. Media is almost dead. The Deep State is being excised like the cancer it is. Now culture is slipping out of their hands as Hollywood flatlines.
And as all this crumbles, the reality of the Left is being left naked in the desert and it is NOT pretty. Further, it is hard to see any recovery from all this. People might become unhappy with Republicans but will there be a dem party to go back to?

Let's tally those moving from the "A List" to the "Has Been" list.

I’ve never been that big of a TV or movie person. That being said if I was going to look to Hollywood as to how to vote I would choose Al Bundy.

A long time ago (but in the same galaxy), I lived and worked in the vicinity of Portland, OR. One day a colleague who had moved up from the LA area described why he and his wife had done so. He explained that both he and his wife were well-grounded human beings, but LA was the home of Hollywood and the "land of the plastic people" and they did not want to their children there. "Land of the plastic people"... now that's a phrase I'll never forget...

First, the only people the Hollyweird crowd influences is the cat ladies of the Dem party. Oh wait, they vote Democrat automatically. So the 'influences' has never been that great. Second, the Democrat party's hatred of white males and recently all males has created a gender gap that the cat ladies can't over come. And those males no longer care about Woke movies and stars. In the end, Hollyweird is all about giving the customer what they want. And so far, Hollyweird is happy giving white cat ladies what they want and to Hades with everyone else.

Popular culture has become so unwholesome, so vacant, so silly and so ugly that sane people shun it more and more. Between Gwyneth Paltrow selling scented candles with names like “Gwyneth Paltrow’s Vagina” to Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper getting bombed on-air on New Year’s Eve to listening to airheads like Whoopi Goldberg, Robert DeNiro, Woody Harrelson and Bette Midler dump on conservatives to Ben Affleck calling Sam Harris a racist for observing that Islam may be dangerous to Western culture to Harry and Meghan being just plain needy and pathetic the Hollywood elite have lost the charm and mystique that once made them icons. Nobody cares about their silly movies, messages or self-congratulatory awards anymore and when a moderately gifted singer/songwriter like Taylor Swift commands $6K per audience member for a performance the public has to wake up someday and realize they are being ripped off. It can’t happen soon enough. Now I have to run to the front door. There are some dang kids outside and I need to tell them to get off my lawn.

I know the Hollywood 'stars' have always believed as if all of us 'non-stars' cared what they thought. But apart from enjoying WHAT they did as entertainment, I am not sure anyone outside of their closed circle of star-buddies EVER held them in 'high esteem'. I can't even reach the middle of my back to pat myself with praise. But these stars have lots of hangers-on who'll do the job for them - for money of course.

I'm hard pressed to name 10 people I know who watch anything out of Hollywood now. They watch classics on the Internet, follow creators on Youtube or other platforms, get shows from overseas. Hollywood forgot a long time ago they were supposed to entertain us. Lecturing from a bunch of high school dropouts isn't entertaining.

Popularity contests have NEVER mattered in a presidential election except at the junior high school level. That is, it has not mattered to anyone with a functioning brain. With cars and bars and movie stars, of course and "beauty contests," it probably matters greatly.

For mature thinking rational adults, Hollywood has never mattered. There was a time when actors and actresses were considered to be one step above prostitutes and were shunned by civilized societies. They still are just one step above prostitutes but the media has tried to turn them into gods. No more.

Reading words on a piece of paper written by someone else does not equate intelligence.
Most celebrities and influencers live lifestyles that do not in any meaningful way reflect the lives of 'regular' people. They believe they are above the rest of us because they are physically attractive or quick to blurt out unfounded attacks. In the end, they have serious 'self-identity' and 'self-worth' issues. They believe they are something they are not. That lack of sense of self eventually collapses.

These people have been losing relevance since long before Kamala Harris. When you attempt to project your perverted values on decent people and try to tell them how they should live, you tend to lose their respect and support. Bye, you will not be missed.

A-list? Dozens? The only names I see are:
Among the stars to publicly back Harris were Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Stiller, Harrison Ford, Jennifer Lopez, and Julia Roberts.
We know that Beyonce and Oprah were paid. It would not surprise me to find out that others were.
