A shocking scene unfolded Thursday morning in America’s smallest state that might be related to President Trump’s ongoing immigration crackdown. As The Providence Journal reported, FBI agents raided the law offices of Joseph Molina Flynn at The 127 Dorrance St. building in Providence. Molina Flynn is a prominent immigration lawyer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and serves as a municipal court judge in Central Falls, Rhode Island. The Valley Breeze notes that Molina Flynn was once an illegal alien from Colombia before becoming an attorney. He became the first illegal to serve on the bench in Central Falls back in 2021.

Since Trump's nominees are not in charge and control of the FBI yet, I kinda suspect this was done by the holdovers to embarrass the 'deportation' movement. Find someone who is still here illegally who has some important position now, detain them, call the media to cover it, to show 'how unfair and mean' Trump is. Betcha that's the case here.

FTA: It’s not immediately clear why government officials targeted Molina Flynn’s office. Jim Martin, a spokesman for U.S. Attorney Zachary A. Cunha’s office, stated that there was “unauthorized activity” at the location but declined to elaborate. Presume the Director and that Assistant Director were against such an action but considering they no longer work at the FBI, it was authorized. Interesting that the judge would resign so quickly which likely indicates they had the evidence.

There is a Filipino illegal in the U.S. called Jose Antonio Vargas. I have seen him on national TV and on the cover of Time and for years he has publicly taunted and sneered at Americans who want immigration laws enforced. He also vowed to become a lawyer and help others break our laws. Despite his illegal status he was allowed to pass the bar in California and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cal State University system. As promised, he has been active in giving other illegals assistance in cheating American citizens and legal residents. Here is a quote from him and it appears that in his own mind he takes a place next to our founding fathers: “I define "American" as someone who works really hard, someone who is proud to be in this country and wants to contribute to it. I'm independent. I pay taxes. I'm self-sufficient. I'm an American, I just don't have the right papers. I take full responsibility for my actions, and I'm sorry for the laws that I have broken.” — Jose Antonio Vargas I would like to see this man’s case adjudicated under the law without prejudice along with all the others.

How is it possible to become a "former illegal alien"? AFAIK there is no legitimate path unless the person goes to their own country, remains there for years while awaiting a legal entry. AFAIK, which may be wrong, there is no way to stop being illegal inside the country.

The U.S. Department of Justice ordered its civil rights division to halt a majority of its functions, including a freeze on pursuing new cases, indictments or settlements, according to reporting from the Washington Post. Per a memo sent to Kathleen Wolfe — President Donald Trump’s appointee as the temporary supervisor of the DOJ’s civil rights division until his nominee, Harmeet Dhillon, is confirmed by the U.S. Senate — the division is to not file “any new complaints, motions to intervene, agreed-upon remands, amicus briefs, or statements of interest.” The DOJ’s civil rights division is primarily tasked with enforcing laws prohibiting discrimination — from disability rights to housing, immigrant and civil rights

President Donald Trump has terminated Dr. Anthony Fauci's taxpayer-funded security detail less than a week after President Joe Biden have him a preemptive pardon. CNN reported Friday on the latest move by Trump to punish his political enemies. Fauci - the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases - has since hired a private security firm, the network said. The longtime infectious disease expert has taken much of the blame for the unpopular lockdowns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, despite working under Trump at the time. During his trip to Asheville, North Carolina Friday, Trump shrugged off the move. 'No, I think you know,

Secretary of State Marco Rubio has scrapped US passport applications allowing Americans to designate their gender identity as “X” after President Trump issued an executive order Monday that it is now “the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.” State Department staff were informed of the change in an internal cable sent Thursday mandating “sex, and not gender, shall be used” in official documents like passports and birth records in US embassies and consulates abroad, the Guardian reported. Staff were specifically instructed to “suspend any application requesting an X sex marker” and to “suspend any application where the applicant is seeking to change their sex marker.”

U.S. civil rights groups are warning that an executive order signed by President Donald Trump on Monday lays the groundwork for reinstatement of a ban on travelers from predominantly Muslim or Arab countries. The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) said the new order relied on the same statutory authority used to justify Trump's 2017 travel ban and offered even "wider latitude to use ideological exclusion to deny visa requests and remove individuals" who had already entered the country. It unveiled a new 24-hour hotline

The best way to know which are the best ones to discuss is to look at the way Democrats are reacting to them. His pardon of J6 prisoners was a big one; they’re really up in arms about that. Another one was his executive order ending birthright citizenship for children born to illegal immigrants in the Now, Democrat attorneys general from 22 states

Mexican authorities blocked a US military plane from deporting illegal migrants on Thursday after President Trump's immigration crackdown began. US officials told NBC News that a jet filled with illegal immigrants bound for Mexico never took off after authorities south of the border rejected the move. The flight was one of three that were set to take off on Thursday, alongside two Guatemala-bound Air Force C-17s carrying over 150 people, as part of what Trump has described as the largest mass deportation effort in US history. Deporting migrants to foreign countries requires permission from the incoming nation's government, which Mexico declined on Thursday.

On January 21st, 2025, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance attended the Service of Prayer for the Nation at the National Cathedral. As a believer, I attended the service for the purpose of praying for our nation, President Trump, the president’s family, and the success of his administration. I purposely left the prayer service early after realizing how the pulpit was being used for left-wing activism and not for true worship unto God, to seek His will and wisdom. Mr. President, what accosted you at the prayer service was political–not biblical.

The trillion-ton slab of ice — called a megaberg — could slam into South Georgia Island and get stuck or be guided around it by currents. If it gets stuck it could make it hard for penguin parents to feed their babies and some young could even starve.
