Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) said Senate Republicans are ready to hold the Senate open “nights, weekends, and recesses” to confirm Trump’s nominees. Thune on the Senate floor on Tuesday decried Senate Democrats holding up the nomination of John Ratcliffe to become the next CIA director. For instance, Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) spent much of his floor time this week obsessing over the January 6 protests after Trump pardoned many of the January 6 protestors.

They need to have some recess so Trump can get people into position that the Dems and Rinos are delaying, but that are urgently important to keep MAGA going. Not allowing for any recesses means Trump can't act quickly when the Senate is letting everything go to pot with their delay B.S.

During one of his news conferences, President Trump needs to point out Democrat obstruction and how they are leaving the country open to danger (in some cases). They are being petty losers and showing the country that we were right to vote them out of power.

No they won't work all during the day & night. They have a typical Senate 'rule' to 'stay in session' during a 10 hour break, but not recess..... enables the Filibuster not to really go nonstop, but still have 'a filibuster' against Senate operating.....

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) delivered a trademark zinger during the confirmation hearing of Office of Management and Budget (OMB) nominee Russell Vought. Kennedy questioned Vought on the reckless spending habits of the Biden administration and dropped a Biblical truth bomb that left fact-checkers reeling. During the hearing, Sen. Kennedy laid bare the staggering federal spending increases under President Biden’s leadership.[snip] Kennedy also highlighted the outrageous fraud within government stimulus programs, citing the jaw-dropping fact that in fiscal year 2023 alone, $1.3 billion in checks were sent to deceased individuals.

Donald Trump might be receiving a lot of attention for being an anti-globalist force, and rightly so. He is the biggest whale in that ocean, but where Trump is an America-first powerhouse, Argentina's Javier Milei is an anti-globalist great white shark, chomping down on anything that resembles globalist control. Milei traveled to Davos in Switzerland as many global leaders did in order to deliver his address on the world stage, and as expected, when he got there, he didn't just let the globalists have it, he called them out for their evils.

The committee hearing was initially scheduled to approve her nomination for a full Senate confirmation vote. A committee spokesperson told Breitbart News the delay is due to Democrats on the panel but did not pinpoint which Democrat it is.[snip] The committee’s notice reads:[snip] the Minority will hold Bondi’s nomination for seven days. Just as fate brought Donald Trump improbably back to the presidency, there is cosmic irony in the last-minute change of venue for his swearing-in today. The polar vortex that brought snow and arctic temperatures to Washington meant the official moment of Trump’s comeback triumph had to be moved into the Capitol Rotunda, the very scene of the Jan. 6, 2021, riot that Democrats and the media catastrophized to try to destroy him and his America First populist nationalist movement. And she's seeking counsel from the only source who can vaguely relate to the humiliation — Hillary Clinton. While the two share the struggle of coming to terms with spectacular defeats in their own rights, it's clear Harris, at least, is still eyeing a political future. Perhaps even the presidency. On that, there is little surprise. Reports have already surfaced indicating Harris has been actively instructing her advisers and allies to keep her political options open. That includes the possibility of a 2028 presidential run or a bid for the governorship in California in 2026.

Jaws dropped throughout Washington’s National Cathedral when an egomaniacal female Episcopal bishop sabotaged the Inaugural Prayer Service with a left-wing rant from the pulpit about illegal migrants and LGBT issues, aimed directly at President Trump, who was sitting politely in the front pew. What the Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, 65, was supposed to do Tuesday, at the historical interfaith service, was to bless the incoming administration and pray for God’s guidance and protection for the nation. She should have been fostering unity, not exacerbating false divides and making the ceremony all about her.
