The inaugural festivities continued for President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday, with both men finding themselves sitting in the National Cathedral for an "interfaith" prayer service. But while most of the speakers acquitted themselves well, a female Episcopalian "bishop" decided to fulfill the far-left's wildest dreams by directing a woke tangent at the president. During Mariann Budde's "sermon," she ranted about "transgender children" and asked Trump to have "mercy" on those who are "scared" of his administration, including those who "pick our crops." Here's the final few minutes of what she said. BUDDE: Let me make one

A certain (large) segment of Episcopalians haven't been able to get past late-60s left wing doctrine.

Someone should remind this woke, sodomy-embracing bishop that God judges members of the clergy for more harshly than the rest of us.

I give President Trump and Vice-President Vance a lot of credit for sitting through that homily. Were I in the church I would have felt compelled to stand up and walk out

FTA: I understand the hesitancy to question those who claim to be representatives of their faith and I often share it, but it's okay to speak truthfully about those who are actively manipulating Christianity for their own selfish ends.

I know to steer clear of Episcopalians. I am beginning to steer clear of Presbyterians as well (my church). More Jesus and God, less browbeating about how we don't tolerate sin... or celebrate it! I'll return to my church when it returns to God.

I am a member of the Reformed Episcopal Church. When I mention that, I must clarify that church is NOT in communion with the Church of England or the Episcopal Church in the USA. The Reformed Church broke away from the crazy, heretical larger denomination over the issue of women and homosexual “priests”. The Reformed Church is Bible based and uses the old liturgical mass. No women, even as lectors or altar servers. Abortion is anathema. It is true, traditional Christianity, totally foreign to the current Episcopal Church in the USA.

Sorry for the incomplete mix up of my #6 post. Having lots of trouble with my computer lately.
Here is my response to Bonchie’s comment —
Absolutely. Christians are told to earnestly contend for the faith in Jude verse 3.
The reasons why, and the consequences for persons like this ungodly “bishop”, are clearly shown in the following 22 verses of that inspired book of the Bible.
Her soul is in grave danger, and the souls of everyone she influences to believe her. Each of us is responsible for examining the scriptures, to make certain that what we are being told is so. The salvation of our souls depends on it, an eternity awaits us all.

Attributed to St. Paul:
1 Corinthians 14:34-35: "Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church."
Were he at services this morning to hear this prune weezened lesbian giving a prime example all that is absolutely wrong with the so-called "Church".
This witch and the pope are having an affair.

The Episcopal Church was losing members each year as I remember. I wonder if they still are? I left when they ordained a gay bishop who supposedly left his wife to be with a man.

1 Timothy 6 Certain persons by swerving from these have wandered away into vain discussion, 7 desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make assertions.
8 Now we know that the law is good, if any one uses it lawfully, 9 understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 immoral persons, sodomites, kidnapers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,...
