All of Joe Biden's preemptive pardons for the worst political malefactors in recent years are an insult to the rule of law, but one in particular sticks in my craw: Mark Milley.
Why?
I expect bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci to be ass-covering snakes with a lust for power and disdain for accountability, and I am confident that he will burn in hell and be remembered as the mass murderer that he is.
I expect politicians like Liz Cheney, Adam Schiff, and the sc*mbags of the January 6th Committee to be liars who would sacrifice their souls for an extra minute on TV and an additional campaign dollar.

Agree. punishment without crime subject to the pardon clause. Make him a private and ordered to clean latrines of the inmates at Gitmo. It will be the most productive activity of his entire military career. And imagine the next line of Democrat sycophant officers reaction. Might put a pause on the Democrat cause.

Regarding Fauchi, I think most crimes against a person physically (homicide, assault, misc. harm) would be under the jurisdiction of an individual state and would not be a federal crime which would be absolved by a presidential pardon. Additionally, civil actions with a lower standard of proof (preponderance rather than beyond a reasonable doubt) would not be prevented because of a pardon, so his ill- gotten gains could be attached and distributed to various harmed individuals.

Who could have ever imagined an American general who would have called China and told them he would notify them in advance of any possible attack on them and then refuse troops to protect the Capitol because the Commander in chief ordered them.

Biden pardoned Milley for committing what amounted to treasonous actions on several occasions under Trump. He then lied to President Trump about his actions. He colluded with others (Democrats) against Trump. Miller deserves a court martial and loss of pension at a minimum. He can't go to prison, thanks to Biden, but his actions can be exposed for all to see and he will have to live with the consequences of the exposure.

WOW!!! Tell us what you really think, Mr. Strom! He absolutely cuts Traitor Milley to shreds, which Milley 100% deserves. I like the idea of having him clean military latrines in Nome, Alaska. It'll never happen, but it's nice to think about.

Trump MUST take action against Milley. Milley, was the highest ranking officer in the military. And please correct me you guys who know better, if I'm wrong. But, to allow Milley to commit the staggering treasonous act of siding with our number one adversary, China, against the United States of America, so publicly, so brazenly, cannot go unanswered. He must be made an example of for the sake of every single soldier serving and putting his/her life on the line for us. He must be made an example to our adversaries, that we will not tolerate treason, on any level, but especially by our generals. He must be made an example for the continuation of United States law, that it is a civilian, the President of the United States that is in command of our military, not some military junta wanna be. Removing his picture from the Pentagon has a nice ring, but it's not enough. President Trump must act, and act swiftly.

This whole idea of preemptive pardons has me wondering, could President Trump preemptively pardon anyone who put a bullet through treasonous, traitor Milley’s head?

The military has a procedure to handle disgraceful behavior by a member. Recall Milley to active duty and drum him out of the Army. Milley has dishonored the service and is a stain on the honor of high ranking patriots. General Washington and all other patriots would banish him from the 'band of brothers'.

As a retired military officer, I was, and continue to be, appalled at Milley's actions. It flies against everything we stood for while serving our country. One thing many general officers do is that they get hired by defense contractors and assist in getting large contracts with the department of defense. They can do that because they still have access to military channels and access to classified information. I I believe President Trump can recall Milley to active duty and cancel his security clearance. I also believe he can reduce him in grade if, after an investigation, there is sufficient evidence to do so. Whatever the action, Milley must suffer the consequences of his treasonous behavior.

As a former military officer, I fully concur with the idea of calling Milley back to duty, reducing his rank to the lowest of the low, and posting him in a manual labor job full front and center for all others to witness every day. This is how you change the culture back to its original intent in a hurry.

For a pardon to be valid, the recipient has to accept the pardon in writing for it to be valid. President Trump needs to demand acceptance of pardon be in writing from all the recipients and Recalling that obese, traitorous Miley busting him to buck private and assign him to cleaning the latrines at Leavenworth Military for the rest of his life would be a fitting punishment. He must be made an example of his violating his military oath he took when he joined up.

Are essentially “across the board” preemptive Presidential pardons even legal? The Trump Administration, once they get their feet on the ground, should test the legality of preemptive pardons through the Federal Courts up through the US Supreme Court.
As when such pardons are granted a President issuing such pardons, since the recipient would not have been investigated and convicted yet, would not know the extent of the crimes that are being preemptively pardoned. Of course that would be different if a President’s family members are being granted such preemptive pardons, where the President granting such pardons was in reality a co-conspirator in the crimes for which he issues such preemptive pardons.

As to Cyrus Milley, recall and bust down sounds right.
As to Fauci - I wonder if civil actions to disgorge all his profiting would be possible.

A pardon addresses the punishment, not the crime. You still have a record of the crime you are convicted of. Bring on the trials so we know what happened and can take steps to make sure it does not happen again.

As the retired officers have said up topic. Milley's conduct was W-A-Y outside the bounds of a loyal officer's. If his actions could be adjudicated as treasonous, I don't think a Biden pardon is valid. Recall to active duty and assigned as the Permanent Latrine Orderly at some place like Gitmo sounds good.
