President-elect Donald Trump pledged Sunday to release a trove of long-hidden government files on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. Billing it as an effort to ramp up government transparency, Trump, 78, promised to take action directing those disclosures within “the coming days” during remarks at his blockbuster victory rally in Washington, DC. “As the first step toward restoring transparency and accountability to government, we will also reverse the over-classification of government documents,” Trump promised his supporters packed into the 20,000-seat Capital One Arena. “And in the coming days, we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations

Some of it might be interesting, but I doubt there are any big "bombshells" there. Just lone loons doing what lone loons do. Individual independent nutters. I do think some of the Dem rhetoric inspired that loser who shot DJT. Repeatedly calling him Hitler, a fascist and a threat to democracy is what inspired him.

As expected, so many replies are Poo-poo-- The watershed event of 11/22/1963 only months later the pretext of attacks on the electronic surveillance ships Maddox and Turner Joy got us into the Vietnam War! Had JFK lived this would not have happened. This nation has not been the same since. It is highly likely that these records have already been destroyed or "lost" by the National Archives like so many other things that sound innocently 'misplaced'... The medical cover up alone shows tampering, outright lying, and trying to not make honest efforts in the Warren Omission, and the HSCA to created and keep making up stories to deflect from the "inside jobs" using tactics intended to protect records for 75 years, and 50 years so those involved would be dead. Massive corruption is going to be out in the open-- This is going to be pubic now, and whatever is actually released that hasn't been destroyed or "lost" or "misplaced" should actually show complicit efforts from many federal agencies to collude in keeping things quiet for over 60 years!

Well if JFK had lived it’s very possible that the USA would not have got involved in a Vietnam War that caused over 58,000 members of the US military to be killed in Vietnam, with hundreds of thousands wounded. Anyway anyone who would have been directly involved in those assassinations would now be pushing up daisies.

I've never understood why the JFK files had to be sealed for decades. I doubt if there is a CIA memo that states that Kennedy is to be shot in Dallas on a given day.

The "birth certificate" Obama posted on the White House website and brazenly left there was shown in short order to be a forgery - created, and not a scan of a real document. Like so many other things in his life, the real one was probably destroyed. We may never know the truth, but we do know that his whole d - - - - d life is a lie.

Finally, the American people have a chance to regain control over these out-of-control agencies.

The IC will demand a review of all the files to delete sources and methods, redact names, and protection of the agencies. We will get smudges, blank pages, and nothing legible. Even that, only after years of review. That has been the history. I hope it stops --- but nothing ever stops in DC.

Republican strategist Scott Jennings told a CNN panel Monday that many Black Lives Matter rioters avoided punishment in 2020 after liberal commentators complained about pardons President Donald Trump issued to participants of the riot at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump issued a blanket pardon Monday to more than 1,500 people convicted of crimes surrounding the storming of the Capitol building during the certification of the electoral votes on Jan. 6, 2021. Jennings reminded former Obama administration officials David Axelrod and Van Jones, who claimed the Jan. 6 rioters received insufficient punishment, that many of the participants in the Capitol riot had their lives “ruined,” but

By any measure, 2024 was not a good year to be a Democrat. You had Joe Biden's dementia that you had tried so hard to cover up exposed during a presidential debate. Then, Nancy Pelosi tried to help you and shivved Joe Biden out the door. Then your replacement candidate, who would have been so many "firsts," turned out to be a word salad aficionado, often making Joe Biden look coherent. Finally, when you tried gaslighting the American people on a scale never before seen and insisted that they go along with your crazy ideas, they rejected you wholeheartedly. In a bold move signaling his commitment to holding the intelligence community accountable, President Donald Trump revoked the security clearances of 51 former intelligence officials who signed a controversial letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop story as Russian disinformation. The letter surfaced weeks before the 2020 election and was widely criticized after evidence from the laptop was verified, raising questions about the intelligence officials' credibility. Trump’s decision to strip their security clearances comes amid growing concerns over political bias within the intelligence agencies and his determination to ensure integrity and transparency within national security operations.
