Federal Appeals Court Hands Trump Huge
Gift on Eve of Inauguration

Original Article

Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was always unconstitutional. I knew it. You knew it. Democrats knew it. Obama knew it. Yet somehow it always seemed to survive legal challenges. Well, finally, a federal appeals court has ruled that this Obama-era program is, in fact, unconstitutional—a timely gift for Trump mere days before he takes office.[Snip] Unfortunately, there’s a bit of a catch. According to the article, “the panel of judges kept DACA alive for current recipients and closed to new applicants.” The ruling is nevertheless long overdue.

Silly me! I would think that if DACA has been found to be unconstitutional it should immediately be shut down and it would also mean those who previously were given immunity would now not have it! Seems like this Court made a mess of things!

I see some problems with this. 1) a 'gift' makes it sound like something personal to PDJT. 2) it makes it sound like it's a favor, rather than restoring legal order, from an unconstitutional power grab 3) what about all the hundreds of thousands of invaders already here under this phony doctrine? 4) foreigners illegally in this country are illegal aliens, and should be expelled, regardless of age or length of illegal stay.

Finally! Problem is, these "Dreamers" are no longer children. They are adults now. They are not helpless little kids anymore. They are just taking advantage of our system for a free ride at this point. They must either apply for a Green Card or citizenship or be treated as illegals. No more free ride.

Excellent news. Now deport all DACA along with every other illegal alien.

Currently there are no DACA children out there as by now just about all DACA recipients are now grown up. Chances are the Democrats will now try to hoodwink the wimpy Republicans to go along with some “comprehensive immigration reform” bill in Congress that will actually be a massive amnesty program to legalize all the DACA recipients and place them on a path to citizenship to transition them into becoming future Democrat supporters and voters. Chances are the Democrats will also attempt to enshrine a new permanent DACA program into law to benefit all the young illegal aliens who were allowed to unlawfully enter the USA under the Biden-Harris “open borders” schemes. By granting another such amnesty the US Congress will be setting the stage to encourage and invite millions of future illegal aliens to unlawfully enter the USA, to stay, and await another future amnesty. That’s what has always happened in the past. What should be happening is that the US Government should be effectively enforcing the current immigration laws.

The US Treasury Department will start taking "extraordinary measures" next week to avoid risking a default on government debt, Secretary Janet Yellen said Friday, days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. With the government reaching its borrowing limit, the department would start making the moves on Tuesday, the day after the inauguration, Yellen said in a letter to congressional leaders. That will mean Trump's administration has to grapple immediately with the issue of the debt ceiling. In the past, Congress has routinely voted to lift this bar, but that tool has become a contentious issue, with Republican budget hawks calling for drastic spending reductions instead.
