Biden Goes on Screaming Tyrannical Rant
About Unilaterally Declaring a 28th Amendment

Wasn’t Ratified (VIDEO)

Joe Biden on Friday unilaterally declared a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution. The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) has not been ratified. The ERA states: “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.” There are currently 27 Amendments to the US Constitution, not 28. Biden delivered remarks at a Department of Defense Commander in Chief farewell ceremony on Friday where he went on a screaming tyrannical rant about declaring a 28th Amendment.

For me ERA will always be Earned Run Average. Looking at the wording of the proposed 27th Amendment there are problems. It seems as innocous as requing that everyone have a nice day. But "sex" and "equality" opens a can of worms. Are there 2 sexes as most of us learned prior to kindergarden or 57 as some claim? Does equality extend to trans whatever? In any case contitutional amendments have to be ratified by 3/4 of the states in a specified time interval. It wasn't and is kaput. Another totally false claim by Quid Pro Joe.

I've never understood why women wanted to be equal. They used to be better. How's that equality working out? We dont need an amendment. Society can be ruined without one.

I was in college in the late 1970's, studying music. Every time I hear 'Equal Rights Amendment' it reminds me of a conversation I had with a female violinist about the differences between men and women. She offered, as proof of the superiority of women, that very young girls are able to start piano and violin lessons about 1.5 - 2 years earlier than young boys. I reminded her that this was just God's way of giving little girls a fair head start.

#6, back around 1981, during the Cold War and when the fight was going on to get this amendment passed, my husband wore a button which said “ERA” in large letters. But in small print beneath the letters it read “Eradicate Russians Atomically”.

More proof Joe doesn't know what he's talking about and likely not legally capable of signing any formal documents. Should call into question nearly everything Joe has done over the past year at a minimum. Remember the Dems had concerns about the last few years of Reagan administration after he announced his dementia on Nov 5, 1994, despite being out of office for 5 years by that time?

I really don't know why women would want the ERA. My late friend was drafted, sent to Vietnam and got half his face and right eye blown off. He survived, but was disfigured for life. The ERA would not exempt women from the draft should we need one in the future, and we might need one. It would also open up better parental rights for men to get the children in a divorce. It's still stacked in the mothers' favor now. Plenty of things that women enjoy now would go by the wayside. Separate restrooms for women are discriminatory against men. Some guy would be sure to sue for his "constitutional right" to use the ladies room. Any number of things that are favorable for women would get thrown in the trash.

The 2025 inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump is expected to be a far cry from the former president's inaugural events of 2017. This year's inauguration, which takes place on Monday, January 20, will be filled with a flurry of balls, musical acts, and political conferences throughout the weekend. Perhaps the most stark difference between Trump’s first inauguration eight years ago are the musicians willing to perform at the event - including country music star Carrie Underwood, Gavin DeGraw, Rascal Flatts, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jason Aldean.

On day two of his presidency, President-elect Donald Trump plans to ignite a massive immigration raid in Chicago, sending a strong message that his administration will take a hardline stance on illegal immigration. The mass deportation raid is part of Trump’s broader plan to enforce immigration laws aggressively and send those who entered the United States illegally back to their home countries. With growing concerns over border security and the impact of unchecked immigration on local communities, the move will be seen as a fulfillment of Trump’s promise to prioritize American citizens and uphold the rule of law.

Soon, open border advocates will step up their agitprop against the new Trump Administration for alleged migrant family separation at the U.S. border. A number of broader points about the family separation phenomenon are worth remembering. The overwhelming majority of migrant family separation decisions are not made at the U.S. border by DHS. They are made by parents or others — including cartel criminals — in home countries. Daily, thousands of border violators abandon some or all of their children in their home countries to make the trek into the U.S. illegally to find work.

The US Treasury Department will start taking "extraordinary measures" next week to avoid risking a default on government debt, Secretary Janet Yellen said Friday, days before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. With the government reaching its borrowing limit, the department would start making the moves on Tuesday, the day after the inauguration, Yellen said in a letter to congressional leaders. That will mean Trump's administration has to grapple immediately with the issue of the debt ceiling. In the past, Congress has routinely voted to lift this bar, but that tool has become a contentious issue, with Republican budget hawks calling for drastic spending reductions instead.
