Netanyahu’s office says cabinet won’t meet to approve ceasefire deal until Hamas backs down on 'last minute concessions'
Israel’s security cabinet has delayed a planned meeting to approve a ceasefire and hostage deal with Hamas in Gaza, with Benjamin Netanyahu’s office accusing Hamas of attempting to obtain ‘last minute concessions’ on some aspects of the deal.
Reuters quotes Netanyahu’s office saying “Hamas reneges on parts of the agreement reached with the mediators and Israel in an effort to extort last minute concessions. The Israeli cabinet will not convene until the mediators notify Israel that Hamas has accepted all elements of the agreement.”

No surprise.
Don't negotiate with terrorists.
We teach our children this. If you give a mouse a cookie, it'll ask for a glass of milk.
Just kill terrorists. It's the only negotiating tactic that works. When they're all dead, the deal is good.

No surprise to anyone, except the moron who couldn't wait to get in front of the cameras to pat himself on the back, when it was Trump's warning that even got them as far as it got yesterday. The deal was already lopsided to begin with. Israel giving up all those Hamas terrorists who will only attack them again is a mistake, Hamas can never be trusted. They can't be sure just how many hostages are even still alive, Israel must anihilate Hamas every last one of them.

Any deal that leaves Hamas in existence is a bad one. it is simply postponing the inevitable. Maybe Bibi had no other choice. If Trump has agreed to it we should wait and see.

Bibi, stick to your guns. And don't give biden the cheater the last laugh where he gets to take an ounce of credit for any "deal". Besides, if there are any hamas left to talk to, means some haven't been eradicated yet.

Looks like everyone jumped the gun on this one. Biden couldn’t wait to crow about this before Israel ever signed anything. Hamas know hell is coming if they don’t return the hostages. The next move is theirs and they’d better think very carefully. They have 4 days.

Good for Netanyaho...he's no fool...and the terrorists renegotiating terms at the last minute is typical these fools.....and ole Joe could make his farewell speech claiming he solved the hostage problem that he's kept dangling for over a year now....and Hamas thought the Americans will never back down once they claim a victory...a la biden...well surprise...surprise...looks like Israel's leader said ...no more term changes...it's the original deal...or nothing....

My hopeful plan.
1. Netanyahu holds firm and the deal collapses.
2. Trump demonstrates what hell is like, killing as many Hamas terrorists as possible.
3. Offer new deal. 1 for 1 on the swap. Israel offers 50 live Hamas terrorists for 50 live hostages and 10 dead Hamas terrorists for 10 dead hostages. Deal or no deal.
4. If Deal, start negotiations for the remaining hostage release. If No deal, Trump reintroduces the hell option. Repeat until a deal is reached or all of the terrorists are dead.

Israel has won this war. Why is Israel negotiating with the losers? If Israel signs this deal, there will be another war in 3 years.

I can't imagine Ike agreeing to a cease-fire based on a hostage swap during the drive to defeat Nazi Germany. Only an unconditional surrender would and did result in a 'cease-fire.'

A few days ago, I was rather surprised to read here that Trump and his team would push Netanyahu towards cutting a "deal" with Hamas in the first place, all in the name of that mythical "cease fire," two words which leftists and other appeasers have have perverted to mean, "stop killing the muslim terrorists who kill your children and countrymen indiscriminately." Why should Israel be forced to "give it a rest" while Hamas re-groups, re-arms, and gets back to killing Israelis, "from the River to the Sea" as they always have done and have never renounced. Playing to the left-of-center "global community" and their many propaganda arms in the global press is an "establishment" move, typically made by democrats and weak RINOs. I'm sure Iran's Mullahs are high-fiving.

The last minute changes by Hamas are typical behavior. Do not trust Hamas. They will stab you in the back. Until they are completely eradicated, do not trust them. Let Hamas suffer "the else" warned by President Trump. Hamas is trying to hoodwink you. Do not trust Hamas.

Good so I think this takes us back to opening the gates of hell on Hamas. This time in the full confidence they were offered a wonderful deal, and the upcoming gates of hell are completely their fault.

Enough with the back and forth ridiculousness. The Israelies can never have peace with a neighbor who wants them dead and teaches their children to hate Jews, practically guaranteeing generational warfare. I wonder if Hamas is dragging its' feet because mistreatment of the hostages is worse than any of us can imagine and once it becomes known, their image will be irreparably damaged?
IMHO, Israel should say to Hamas, "here's the deal: you can have the 1500 or so in our custody. We want all of the hostages living or dead and we want them now."
