Democratic Rep. Jim Clyburn believes Joe Biden will go down as one of the greatest presidents in American history.
In an interview on MSNBC’s Chris Jansing Reports, the South Carolina congressman said that history will judge Biden kindly.
“Given everything that was in place when he took office, Covid the economic challenges, do you think that this was in some ways inevitable?” Jansing asked.
”And how do you think history will judge this presidency?”
Clyburn responded:
I think that he will go down as one of the greatest presidents we ever had.

The Safeway Food Store in the Filmore District of San Francisco has been beset with shoplifters and other criminal activity for years. The company finally decided in December that it had enough and was closing the doors of the store for good.
George Gibbs, a long-time shopper at the store, acknowledges the problems. "I've seen people running out the door with stuff and running across the parking lot," he said. "I've seen folks walk out in handcuffs for stealing something."
Black Lives Matter activists are now demanding that the store stay open or that another low-cost food store take its place.

President Joe Biden on Jan. 17 announced he has ratified the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), despite the U.S. archivist recently saying the president could not ratify the constitutional amendment.(snip)
The U.S. archivist and U.S. deputy archivist said in late 2024 that the president could not ratify the amendment because the amendment did not receive the required support from three-fourths of the states by the deadline Congress imposed, which was June 30, 1982.
The Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel in 2020, while Donald Trump was president, and in 2022, after Biden took office, also said that ratification cannot occur unless Congress or the courts extend or remove the ratification deadline.

Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii faced mockery on social media on Thursday over her opening questions to Interior Secretary nominee Doug Burgum during his confirmation hearing. "As part of my responsibilities to ensure the fitness of nominees before any of the committees on which I sit, I ask the following two initial questions," Hirono said to Burgum on Thursday. "First is, since you became a legal adult, have you ever made unwanted requests for sexual favors or committed any verbal or physical harassment or assault of a sexual nature?"
"No, senator, I have not," Burgum responded.
"Have you ever faced discipline or entered into a settlement related to

Joe Biden on Friday unilaterally declared a 28th Amendment to the US Constitution.
The Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) has not been ratified.
The ERA states: “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex. The Congress shall have the power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.”
There are currently 27 Amendments to the US Constitution, not 28.
Biden delivered remarks at a Department of Defense Commander in Chief farewell ceremony on Friday where he went on a screaming tyrannical rant about declaring a 28th Amendment.

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Special Report,” Greenland Prime Minister Múte Egede stated that while they don’t want to be a part of America, there are a lot of areas for cooperation, including on boosting defense in the Arctic region and greater American partnership with regards to Greenland’s minerals.
Egede said that a strong partnership between the U.S. and Greenland is crucial, but “We don’t want to be Danes. We don’t even want to be Americans. We want to be Greenlanders. Sometimes, the jokes write themselves.
On Thursday, Politico congressional reporter Nicholas Wu posted a letter to social media platform X dated to the same day from the Congressional Progressive Staff Association — which is 1,500 members strong.
In it, the association asks both House and Senate leaders to implement a shorter workday at 32 hours a week.
Seriously: (X} The entire letter is roughly two and a half pages and reads like something written by a child trying to convince his mother that, on the contrary, its actually very beneficial to have ice cream before dinner.

During the second confirmation hearing for Attorney General Nominee Pamela Bondi, the former Department of Justice top official who led the phony “Russiagate” investigation of Donald Trump claimed America’s top law officers are responsible for “preventing” the agency’s “weaponization.(smip) McCord was the top national security official who, until her departure in 2017, led the DOJ’s hoax investigation of the Trump campaign for supposed “ties to Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election,” as NBC reported. Joe Biden just can’t seem to let go.
Although his presidency and his legacy have been thoroughly repudiated—whether it be through the polls, which show he’s one of the lowest-rates presidents of all time, or at the ballot box where his hand-picked successor Kamala Harris was brutalized in the November elections—his tenure has been thoroughly tainted by an astounding record of failure. Inflation has killed the dreams of regular folks as just paying for groceries has become a traumatic experience; young people have no hope of buying a home or living the American Dream—considering the crushing interest rates and noxious cost of living. Meanwhile, wars rage on the international stage.
