WASHINGTON - U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith concluded that Donald Trump engaged in an "unprecedented criminal effort" to hold on to power after losing the 2020 election, but was thwarted in bringing the case to trial by the president-elect's November election victory, according to a report published on Tuesday.
The report details Smith's decision to bring a four-count indictment against Trump, accusing him of plotting to obstruct the collection and certification of votes following his 2020 defeat by Democratic President Joe Biden. It concludes that the evidence would have been enough to convict Trump at trial, but his imminent return to the presidency, set for Jan. 20, made that impossible.

Jack Smith concluded that he wanted to harass an innocent man to keep him from saving the country from the kind of **** that he works with.

Of COURSE he’s guilty of criminal conduct. Thats why you released the report, Jackie. And we thank you for that.
Wow. I regret voting for a criminal to save our country. And just think, if PDJT hadn’t engaged in criminal activities, which you clearly exposed, you wouldn’t have had a job, lo these many months. So. Thanks. JACK,

Easy words to write. No proof. Trump REALLY needs to DESTROY these people. They will NEVER stop. Their hate is so strong. If you are kind to them they will keep lying.

No kidding. We know you were fabricating such allegations. The best place to air that report is at the trial against you for abuse of the legal system, conducting lawfare, and conspiracy to steal an election.

If Trump was found to be “criminally engaged” to over-turn an election, he sure failed miserably in that effort. Any third-world despot could easily do it much better: have the backing of the police and military, take over all media outlets, ban all political oppositions, put major opponents in prison, impose strict curfews, have thugs enforce decrees with guns or clubs, and confiscate all firearms. Trump didn’t do any of that! Where is the #%*>~&< criminality!!

if I recall....was NOT appointed special counsel according to the law.
M. Garland had is family business' (books for schools I believe) Panorama Education...... to support ......raising hard left money aka Merchan like. this one was Critical Raise Theory promotion
So Garland broke the law by approving a law breaking lawyer whose only intent was to state in the end of his "investigation" DJT broke the law. (shades of L Beria , Stalin Internal Director , " show me the man I'll show you the crime"
No innocence until proven guilty....remember that.
I think Judge Cannon had made that precise point before.............so maybe time for next AG to open up this
a see what the inside baseball truly says was behind ....the harm DJT movement

If, in reality, Donald Trump was engaged in any "unprecedented criminal effort" to hold on to power we certainly would have noticed it at the time, As such, this report is just click bait for the obsessed haters with uncontrolled Trump Derangement Syndrome. With all of the illegal efforts that loyal democrat judges and prosecutors , assisted bu the Department of Justice have engaged in to attempt to get Trump out of politics, this theory by Jack Smith is over the top and comes too late. The general public has come to recognize lawfare, and will assign this conspiracy theory to the fiction department where it belongs.
All of the real criminals who have engaged in election interference need to have a dose of real justice turned on them.

Those words were written prior to opening the investigation and found in the appointment letter to Jack Smith written by Merrick Garland... I'll Bet!

This is definitely subjective by Jack Smith. So it was okay for Jill Stein to have three states recount the votes in 2016? Given the number of her votes, who was she really asking for?

I find it illogical to believe that if President Trump had actually wanted to “overthrow” the government, he would have done such a poor job. The man is nothing if not very successful at whatever he sets his mind to. So he’s going to do this horrific deed with such a pathetic attempt? No weapons? Grandmas in the crowd? No violence to speak of erupted from the crowd of thousands until the police shot rubber bullets and tear gas into the crowd? It makes no sense. Any thinking person could see this was a set up by the dems from the day Trump announced the rally.
Jack Smith is a wicked vile man typical of the individuals who inhabit the democrat party. They will do anything to defeat President Trump. What they did not count on was the American people’s unwavering support in the face of lawfare intended to strip him of his freedom. The only thing Jack Smith and the rest of the lawfare conspirators have done is expose their utter black hearted psychopathy when the country rejected their failed and America last agenda.

Was any exculpatory evidence included in the report? The investigation set out to find Trump guilty and Smith set out to find and fabricate a report showing he was guilty. Smith ignores that most of Trump's efforts were fought in court. Challenging things in court us not illegal. Now that the one sided reporting is completed and released the damage is done. There will never be charges or a chance to challenge the allegations. Only the final result of Democrat lawfare effort discredit, smear, destroy, and to keep Donald Trump from becoming President. They got their one sided reporting but ultimately failed to derail the Trump train.

Smith's accusation also makes tens of millions of us equally guilty. We still believe that there was massive cheating in 2020 and Trump actually won the election. Audits and recounts were denied and even the Supreme Court assisted in the deception. Trump has his revenge after years of fighting and we proudly helped in his victory. The leftists still can't get over it and continue to accuse people armed with MAGA hats of trying to pull off an insurrection. The joke is on you leftists, Joe Biden was your booby prize.

About Reuters:
We find it hard to believe, but according to Mike Benz, a former State Department official, the Biden White House lavished a multinational media syndicate with hundreds of millions of dollars. For its “investment,” the administration apparently received hit pieces against a political enemy.
If that’s the price for supporting a corrupt regime, what could we get for trying to hold government accountable for its abuses and malpractice and misfeasance?
Benz, deputy assistant secretary of State under President Donald Trump, tweeted earlier this week that “The Biden Admin paid Reuters over $300 million in government contracts. 11 different Biden government agencies targeted Elon’s businesses. All 11 agencies paid millions to Reuters. Reuters then won the Pulitzer Prize for ‘their work on Elon Musk and misconduct at his businesses.’”

Why are they accepting this "report? It's illegitimate? He was wrongfully employed and had no authority to do any of this. What are they planning to do with it?" It may be useful in bringing an abuse of power action against all who were involved.

FTA:
But it includes some new details, such as that prosecutors considered charging Trump with inciting the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol under a U.S. law known as the Insurrection Act.
Prosecutors ultimately concluded that such a charge posed legal risks and there was insufficient evidence that Trump intended for the "full scope" of violence during the riot, a failed attempt by a mob of his supporters to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election.
The indictment charged Trump with conspiring to obstruct the election certification, defraud the United States of accurate election results and deprive U.S. voters of their voting rights.
Seems they tried some novel legal theories, which is what they themselves used against people like Rudy Guliani and others, right? Said they couldn't use such legal theories of their own.
And, didn't this guy use a DC grand jury only to then switch the case to where it should have been started, Florida, but likely chose not to simply because they likely wouldn't have been so pliable and easily manipulated due to their extreme biases shown over the past 4 years?
Wonder if that was intentional and could be prosecutorial misconduct considering they should have known which venue to hold the grand jury in the first place.
Now, using the same DC grand jury as evidence in their official report doesn't seem proper.
Plus, Trump is known for using the legal system to the Nth degree so it's not an unknown he would fight his case in the court system, which is his legal right and does not violate anyone's right either.

FWIW, a corporate executive with a keen wit and delightful sense of humor described a corporate directive as having been written by someone intoxicated with the exuberance of their own verbosity. Needless to say, two volumes of a targeted “lawfare report” may be considered by some as “The lady doth protest too much.” No mortal has the ability to read the mind or heart of another mortal; therefore, what might be perceived by some mortals as egregious may be totally misunderstood when, in reality, the pursuit of another mortal’s self-defense makes it necessary to engage vigorous use of the law—“proper conduct sanctioned by conscience, concepts of natural justice, or the will of a deity, a moral law” rather than “cafeteria law” that picks and chooses what laws can be contorted sufficiently to succeed in criminal intent, or perception thereof, to destroy an individual and/or entity if so inclined.
