Fact-Checker: We're Not to Blame for Censorship,

As we’ve reported, Meta is nuking its fact-checking division and is going to rely on a Community Notes-type system similar to what rival social media platform X uses. Meta property Facebook in particular was notorious for censoring people and outlets over the last four years, especially when users criticized the Biden administration, its Green New Deal policies, COVID policy, and other hot-button issues. Essentially, it became a de facto arm of the Democrat Party, and now that the Trump administration is coming to town, there’s a whole lot of groveling and finger-pointing. The fact-checking industry is obviously not pleased that they’re taking a lot of the blame,

Zucker is guilty and so are the fact checkers. Meta fact checkers only fact checked, aka lied on conservatives, and as a de facto arm of the DNC pushed and approved the lies of the left. I like how the crabs are destroying one another, though. It's quite entertaining, and I hope they all pay dearly for what they've done. Good luck finding jobs, and when they're asked by interviewers for the list of their greatest strengths, they need to make sure they list lying as number one. Hopefully, all the headhunters and interviewers will associate former fact checking Meta applicants with lying and deposit their resumes in file 13.

As we all suspected. Zuckerberg got his marching orders from Hussein on his many visits to the back door of the White House and he alone created the logic requirements that Fakebook used to cancel and censor Conservative views. He was only doing what he was told and his army of Fact Checkers were doing the same. They did it with gusto. So did Google and that company created by New World Order Gates.

Very recently I was looking back on posts from a certain friend and in 2014 I saw a post from him that he had been censored on FB for posting a picture of a pretty lady with part of her butt cheeks showing. It's not a recent thing.

This is typical of the left. Create a “job” whereby you can make big bucks controlling the public. Fact checkers are so blinded by their ideology that they possess no critical thinking skills whatsoever, all the while presenting themselves as reasonable and informed. There is a way on FB that you can pursue a fact check and tell them why they are wrong. I did it frequently. This couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people.

The liberal circular firing squads are now forming. They are all pointing their fingers at others for what was done during the Biden administration. Nobody is responsible for anything but somehow "things" magically happened. Censorship is one of those things that, to liberals, is very subjective. They did not censor anyone. They just helped to make sure that only the approved narrative was allowed to be freely discussed and that any dissenting voices were discredited or muted.

For the last couple of decades, any person or group who calls themselves "Fact Checkers" are not interested in presenting the truth, but are "checking" the facts: as in the second definition of verb (used with object): 2: to restrain; hold in restraint or control. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/check?r=75&src=ref&ch=dic

When Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and her staff of clowns bungled a four-day ramble in 2023 to show off the wonder of electric vehicles, the lasting impression would be the report of her advance team blocking an open charger so she wouldn’t have to wait for one. A federal report, however, reveals details that cast the entire charade in an even worse light. The Granholm tour was to take her from Charlotte, N.C., to Memphis, Tenn., and was intended to justify the billions of taxpayers’ dollars the Biden administration was pouring into green energy initiatives. The message was lost when it was learned, two months after the incident,

In what will certainly stir controversy on the right, JD Vance made an important clarification about how the incoming Donald Trump administration will handle January 6th participants: Violent offenders will not be pardoned. Speaking to Shannon Bream on "Fox News Sunday," Vance was asked who exactly would be eligible for a pardon. The soon-to-be-vice president didn't shy away from the question. Many of the larger Trump-supporting accounts on social media are already lashing out at Vance, but it needs to be noted that neither Donald Trump nor JD Vance ever promised a blanket pardon for all those charged over January 6th.

One of the most wonderful things about Christianity is that there’s remarkable diversity in the way we can worship, provided we believe in the essentials of the faith. After the Protestant Reformation, denominations sprang up that allowed for variations in thoughts on secondary theological issues as well as styles of worship. In more recent years, the “mainline” denominations, so called because they were the churches along the main roads in towns, have opted for theological and political liberalism (and downright heresy) and have seen a resulting decline. Denominations still loom large on the landscape of American Christianity, but their influence is on the downslope, according to some new research.

That’s what lawfare is all about, creating public perceptions and using the judicial system to advance political goals. Few people care about the issues and the entire case is likely to be thrown out on a host of appeal reasonings.

President Biden slammed Meta on Friday for ending its third-party fact-checking program, arguing that the change goes against American values and is “shameful.” “The whole idea of walking away from facts checking [sic] as well as not reporting anything having to do with, uh, um, discrimination regarding TPS I find to be just contrary to American justice,” Biden said in response to a reporter’s question about Meta’s recent policy shift. It’s unclear what the 82-year-old president was referring to when he suggested Meta was not reporting discrimination “regarding TPS,” an acronym for the Temporary Protected Status program offered to foreign nationals from certain countries.

In business, Donald Trump was a real-estate guy. In the presidency, he might be one, too. The prospective foreign policy of his second term has taken an unexpected turn, with his recent talk of annexing Canada, buying Greenland and taking back the Panama Canal. Rather than the neo-isolationist that he’s often accused of being, Trump is talking like a neo-imperialist, at least in our own hemisphere. Even if President Trump does none of these things — he’s largely joking about the Great White North — his musings are a reminder of the crucial importance of geography and the control of territory.

WASHINGTON - U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith concluded that Donald Trump engaged in an "unprecedented criminal effort" to hold on to power after losing the 2020 election, but was thwarted in bringing the case to trial by the president-elect's November election victory, according to a report published on Tuesday. The report details Smith's decision to bring a four-count indictment against Trump, accusing him of plotting to obstruct the collection and certification of votes following his 2020 defeat by Democratic President Joe Biden. It concludes that the evidence would have been enough to convict Trump at trial, but his imminent return to the presidency, set for Jan. 20, made that impossible.
