Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Thursday that the Ayatollah's days are numbered and urged President-elect Trump to embrace the MEK "resistance" to fast-track the Iranian regime’s fall. "The United States and the pressure campaign will return, making the regime even more fragile," Pompeo said during a speech at a conference in Paris, referencing Trump's second term. "You, the resistance. You are on the right path," he added.

I have noted that FOX has Mike on regularly. I think Murdoch boys and Ryan feel as if President Trump needs his advice. I doubt it.

Pompeo, why didn't you do all those things when you were SOS? I don't think Trump needs your advice, or that of the ugly guy with the disgusting mustache and narrow spectacles that he looks over.

On the LA fires, turns out Democratic incompetence runs all the way up the White House — though Calif. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s still going strong in the “flailing and failing” department. Goodtime Gavin already got slammed this week for his pathetic buck-passing on the city water management crisis making these horrific fires into a full-blown disaster, blaming the dry hydrants hampering firefighters on “local folks.” Next, Newsom was caught on video in a bizarre dodge: A resident of Pacific Palisades demanded to know how he intended to deal with the fact that her daughter’s school had burned down.

Disgraced former New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez should be thrown behind bars for at least 15 years for his “naked greed” in accepting a “hoard of bribes” — including gold bars, cash and gifts, federal prosecutors said. The 71-year-old Democrat is slated to be sentenced on Jan. 29 after he was convicted in July of accepting bribes in exchange for advancing the the interests of three Garden State businessmen and the governments of Egypt and Qatar. The case is one of “rare gravity” — and “the first ever in which a Senator — or any other person — has been convicted of serving as a foreign agent

Breakfast of failures? California gastroenterologist Dr. Saurabh Sethi has taken to TikTok to call out the five unhealthiest breakfast foods. We’ve long been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, a metabolic boost that provides the cornerstone of nutrition. Yet according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, a quarter of us skip our morning meal, and it seems even those who do make the time to rise and dine do not always make healthy choices.

Can America build big things anymore?Donald Trump can prove that the answer is still yes — by revolutionizing how America builds energy infrastructure. In the process, he’ll transform our economy and secure our global leadership. Trump’s opportunity centers on his excellent picks for three key federal agencies: Doug Burgum at the Interior Department, Lee Zeldin at the Environmental Protection Agency and Chris Wright at the Energy Department. He should charge them with circumventing the National Environmental Policy Act — the biggest barrier to US infrastructure and energy dominance

The latest illegal-migrant atrocity should remove any doubt: It’s beyond time to end sanctuary-city policies in New York. The appalling heinousness of that atrocity is simply unimaginable, even by Gotham standards. Police say Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, a Guatemalan illegal migrant, set a sleeping woman ablaze aboard an F train at the Coney Island station, then watched in satisfaction as she burned alive. A medieval level of savagery — and a predictably sick outcome of woefully misguided policies that have made the city a haven for border jumpers.

And that contrast with what happened today versus what happened four years ago makes clear the profound difference

Los Angeles' budget is in the spotlight as multiple wildfires rage around the city amid revelations that Mayor Karen Bass slashed the fire department's budget last year while prioritizing spending on the city's homeless population. For the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Los Angeles budgeted $837 million for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD), which was roughly 65% the size of the homeless budget of $1.3 billion. An analysis by L.A.'s city comptroller last year found that roughly half the budget for homelessness went unspent.

The Supreme Court on Thursday denied President-elect Donald Trump’s bid to delay his Friday morning sentencing in the New York hush money case. The Supreme Court’s order clears the way for Manhattan judge Juan Merchan to impose the long-awaited sentence on the incoming president. Merchan said he would not give Trump jail time, fines, or probation during the virtual hearing. Scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday, the sentencing comes ten days before Trump’s inauguration. In the Supreme Court’s brief order published Thursday evening, five justices denied Trump’s application for postponing the sentencing date.
