Oath Keepers leader Stewart Rhodes is spending his time in federal prison planning legal action against the Justice Department.
Rhodes, one of the most prominent Jan. 6 defendants, is serving an 18-year sentence for seditious conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding and destruction of evidence.
President-elect Donald Trump, however, has changed the outlook for Rhodes and others in similar circumstances, having promised pardons for Jan. 6 defendants.Rhodes told The Washington Times he is approaching his legal options “one step at a time.”
“If President Trump pardons me, I would love to sue [the Justice Department] for a 1983 claim. That’s a potential violation of civil rights. That’s a false imprisonment,”

In a move that signals a shift in priorities, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced the termination of two programs aimed at providing social services to illegal immigrants, citing unsustainable costs and misalignment with the agency's core mission. One of the discontinued programs, the Wraparound Stabilization Service (WSS), was designed to offer psychosocial and behavioral health support for migrants. However, ICE noted that the program showed minimal effectiveness, with only a 2% improvement in compliance rates compared to those not receiving services. Describing the program as "immensely cost with little improvement," ICE ended referrals in July.

Across the non-left media world, it’s now an article of faith that Donald Trump’s emphatic victory is a woke watershed.
After asking petulantly for year upon year, “Now have we hit peak woke?” like children on the back seat nagging daddy “are we there yet?” we learn repeatedly from conservative outlets that the progressive lunacy that has tormented us since about 2014 (if not since 1965) has been roundly defeated.
A decisive death knell for identity politics dangles the blessed possibility of no longer squandering our brief duration on this Earth on stupid conversations and debates over whether:

This weekend, CBS News journalist Jan Crawford predicted that Trump will have the opportunity to appoint a fourth justice to the United States Supreme Court, this coming year or in the next.
If this happens, we will see another full-blown meltdown from the left. No one who was around for Trump’s first term will forget the temper tantrum the left threw over all of Trump’s prior appointments to the court.
This will simply solidify the conservative majority on the court, making it impossible for Democrats to legislate from the bench.

Conservatives are slamming President Biden for using former President Jimmy Carter’s death Sunday to take a jab at incoming President Donald Trump.
Biden, asked Sunday what his former Republican rival could learn from Carter’s presidency, replied, “Decency, decency, decency.
“Can you imagine Jimmy Carter walking by someone who needed something and just keep walking?” Biden said. “Can you imagine Jimmy Carter referring to someone by the way they look or the way they talk?”
The political remark did not sit well with conservatives, who ripped Biden, 82, for using the opportunity to attack instead of merely honoring Carter’s legacy — and for having the audacity to speak about “decency.”

Biden campaign megadonor John Morgan called President-elect Donald Trump a “f****** genius” in a new interview, as the Republican’s November victory has prompted some soul-searching within the Democrat party.
Morgan, a successful Florida lawyer who used to be a Democrat but is now considering a gubernatorial bid as a third-party candidate, gave Trump some credit in a Politico interview published Sunday.
“I don’t know if Trump is a stable genius, but he’s

EXCLUSIVE: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has ended two programs that provide social services to illegal immigrants who are released into the U.S. interior, telling lawmakers that one brings "immense cost with little improvement" and that another is out of line with ICE’s mission.
The agency responded to Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., and 15 members of Congress, who wrote to ICE in May asking for more information about the "Alternatives to Detention" program, which monitors illegal immigrants not in ICE detention. The agency defended the program and said it was "an efficient and effective" program for monitoring a segment of illegal immigrants on ICE’s non-detained docket.

Republicans will head into 2025 with the White House, control of both the U.S. House and Senate, and big expectations from voters to do something with it. Influential conservative activist Charlie Kirk says the party should make lawmakers that get in the way of the Trump agenda pay the price, but warned that the base will have to carefully pick its spots.
Kirk, 31, sat down with The Daily Wire at Turning Point USA’s America Fest in Phoenix, Arizona where he candidly broke down which Republicans are on his primary list. The Turning Point USA founder is a staunch Trump supporter who often speaks with the president-elect, and he is

A CIA whistleblower has said that Americans should be 'terrified' of alleged government gaslighting of former intelligence employees who believe they have been struck down by 'Havana Syndrome'.
The medically-retired CIA officer spoke with investigative journalist Catherine Herridge about her experience with the debilitating mystery disorder, and how the authorities have treated her since.
Speaking under the pseudonym Alice, the former CIA employee said she spent two decades in government service and began experiencing 'Havana Syndrome' - also known as Anomalous Health Incidents (AHIs).

Incoming border czar Tom Homan clapped back at Rep. Jasmine Crockett (R-TX) after she criticized his stance on illegal immigration.
Homan’s remarks come as the Trump administration is set to take office on January 20. President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to address the border crisis that has been in full swing since Biden became president in 2021. During a Monday interview with Newsmax, Homan responded to Crockett’s claim that he “doesn’t know what he’s doing” when it comes to immigration policy, touting his prior experience as a veteran law enforcement official and former director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) with over three decades of experience.

As what’s left of the Biden administration winds down, I’d like to offer an end-of-days reminder: Joe Biden wasn’t just a terrible president.
His Attorney General Merrick Garland was an equally terrible leader of the Department of Justice.
Garland, you may recall, was nominated for the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama to replace Justice Antonin Scalia, who died suddenly a few months before the 2016 election.
Republicans sat on Garland’s nomination, maintaining that the seat should be filled by a new president.
We were told that this was hideously unfair and partisan, especially because, as the Obama administration and its friendly media repeatedly assured us, Garland was a moderate, a nonpartisan

The Biden regime’s hit man most responsible for the persecution of J6 protesters is out of a job.
DC US Attorney Matthew Graves announced today he is resigning from office in a statement:
His resignation will become official just days before President-elect Trump is inaugurated:
“Serving as the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia has been the honor of a lifetime. I am deeply thankful to Congresswoman Holmes Norton for recommending me; to President Biden for nominating me; and to Attorney General Garland for placing his trust in me.”
