Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy being in charge of the incoming Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is perhaps one of the most exciting ideas from President-elect Donald Trump. Through it, you could have a true change in government. That's likely one of the reasons that the powers that be are fighting to separate Musk and Trump, and back him out of the equation. They're afraid of free media and they're afraid of the change this could bring to government. Javier Milei has shown what can be done. He's turned a deficit into a surplus for the first time in more than 100 years in their country,

Reagan was a great President. He made mistakes like every President, but he: Like Trump ,Loved America. Also he wasn't a career politician. When you have a politician who makes a career of it, that person is more interested in getting re-elected than he is about looking out for America. There should be term limits for every elected job.

Reagan was derided as a dunce actor, when in reality he was a brilliant thinker. One of our very best, smartest presidents. And Congress and the Enemedia fought him every inch of the way. Imagine Trump being on a late night show and permitted to tell the truth like this. It could never happen today.

The new $9 toll to drive into Midtown Manhattan could soar another 25% — to $11.25 — on “gridlock alert days’’ starting next year, The Post has learned. The MTA’s right to jack up the already hotly controversial commuter tax was listed in a footnote in the revised congestion pricing plan filed with the state’s rule-making publication, the New York State Register. “If whacking hardworking Jersey and New York families with a new, $9 a day Congestion Tax wasn’t enough, the MTA is now pouring extra salt on the wound with a 25 percent extra Uber-style surge pricing tax on so-called ‘Gridlock Alert Days’ —

California has made a big bet on a technology to meet its self-imposed green energy target. It could work. Maybe. Might happen. If the real world matches the optimism. But there are challenging hurdles ahead. One, the concept is untried on an industrial scale. Floating offshore wind turbines, which California believes will provide a full quarter of the state’s electric power by 2045, “is largely underdeveloped in the United States,” host Kevin Sliman says in an interview with two Penn State University Institute of Energy and the Environment professors. “There’s a few kind of like one-off test turbines that are typically much smaller than what you would do on a fixed platform,”

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year — especially in an election year. After eleven months of war between Democrats and Republicans, including weeks for the defeated side to mourn the results, Christmas is a season when everyone can rejoice. For Christians, Jesus’ birth is more important than any political battle.The Christmas spirit has something for people of every belief and background, however: It’s a time to cherish family and reflect on peace and goodwill toward all. Our politics, and the world, needs that spirit more than ever.Letting go of the hatreds built up over a bruising election cycle isn’t easy,

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s administration is drawing up plans to help illegal migrants dodge deportation when President-elect Donald Trump takes office. An internal memo being circulated within Newsom’s administration calls for the “creation of an Immigrant Support Network comprised of regional ‘hubs’ to connect at-risk individuals, their families, and communities with community systems — such as legal services, schools, labor unions, local governments, etc,” according to Politico. The outlet notes that the memo is light on details, including the cost to taxpayers for such a programs,

Pilgrims lined up early Wednesday to walk through the great Holy Door at the entrance of St. Peter’s Basilica, as Christmas marked the start of the 2025 Holy Year celebration that is expected to bring some 32 million Catholic faithful to Rome.Traversing the Holy Door is one way that the faithful can obtain indulgences, or forgiveness for sins during a Jubilee, a once-every-quarter-century tradition that dates from 1300. On Christmas Eve, Pope Francis knocked on the door and was the first to walk through it, inaugurating the 2025 Jubilee that he dedicated to hope.

On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Faulkner Focus,” Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) discussed the suspected murder of a woman on the New York City subway and argued that the prosecution of Daniel Penny has had “a chilling effect” on people coming to the aid of others in dangerous situations. Tenney said, “Now, who would you rather have? Would you rather have this guy running around setting innocent women on fire or a former Marine, Daniel Penny, who was saving people, seeing a violent person, and protecting lives? And, thankfully, he was found innocent by a jury of his peers.”

It’s hardly news that Joe Biden is a liar. And lately, he’s actually being called out for it. After repeatedly denying he would pardon his son Hunter, he went ahead and did it anyway—as anyone could have predicted. Another lie he repeated often was that he never discussed business deals with Hunter.The evidence proving he was lying has been out there for a long time now, but new photos released this week further undermine Joe’s claims. The National Archives released a series of photos showing Joe Biden, during his vice presidency, meeting with Chinese officials and Hunter Biden’s business associates.

One of the more interesting innovations that Donald Trump has brought to modern presidential campaigns has been the party-like atmosphere of his Trump rallies. These rallies were in battleground states and areas, where Trump spoke for a few hours, oftentimes mixing political and policy issues with jokes and commentary on non-political affairs, with some music and a little dancing.Then again, these types of political rallies are not totally new and unique to American politics. Political events with a party atmosphere have been around since the beginning of the Republic and before;

For several years now, Hobby Lobby’s Christmas marketing campaign has used the theme: “Christmas is what you make it.” Commercials depict warm and heart-tugging vignettes of individuals, in one way or another, sharing some Christmas joy with someone else: I must admit, the commercial above brought a lump to my throat: An older, happily married couple observes two young, lonely singles that need a little push to get to know each other. The older couple takes steps to make it happen. The young couple meets and decorates a tree together (with Hobby Lobby decorations, of course!). What’s not to love?

Congress can reject electoral votes on when they gather to certify them on Jan. 6 because Trump is disqualified from holding office under 14th Amendment, which restricts anyone who took an oath to support the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection” from holding office, attorneys Evan Davis and David Schulte wrote in a column for The Hill. “The unlikelihood of congressional Republicans doing anything that might elect Harris as

Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres got it 100% right this month when he slammed progressives for their “perversion of compassion” in allowing vagrants to haunt our transit hubs and streets. Particularly those who are mentally ill and in need of help. They make life miserable — and dangerous — for everyone. Including themselves. Progressives think they’re being kind, considerate, compassionate to these troubled people. Civil libertarians think they’re protecting their freedoms. Many of them truly believe they’re doing the moral thing by letting these people fester. They’re horribly wrong, It’s not compassionate to let to someone sleep on the floor of Penn Station or to permit violent ones to attack innocent people.

The legislation, approved earlier this year, compels major oil and gas companies to help cover the costs of recovery after extreme weather events. The funds will also support resilience projects, including coastal wetland restoration and upgrades to critical
