Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year — especially in an election year. After eleven months of war between Democrats and Republicans, including weeks for the defeated side to mourn the results, Christmas is a season when everyone can rejoice. For Christians, Jesus’ birth is more important than any political battle.The Christmas spirit has something for people of every belief and background, however: It’s a time to cherish family and reflect on peace and goodwill toward all. Our politics, and the world, needs that spirit more than ever.Letting go of the hatreds built up over a bruising election cycle isn’t easy,

Spirit of Christmas is fine and in fact necessary. But must not weaken the firmness and resolve with which to confront evil. And there is, unfortunately, plenty to go around

Jesus Christ didn't come to resolve political issues. He came to resolve ONE spiritual problem, which is mankind's separation from God at birth through the inheritance of Adam's original sin. A "virgin pregnancy," visited upon a descendent of King David, broke that cycle, making way for the God-man to be born, as man is born. Jesus Christ provides all mankind with the greatest gift of all, everlasting life with God through FAITH in Him. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved..." Acts 16:31 Merry Christmas!

Feeling hatred is like drinking poison and hoping it will kill somebody else. It's possible to be firmly resolved against evil, while not feeling hatred. Resolve is not hatred. Hatred does not accomplish anything. Resolve does.

No, now is NOT the time compromise, for "reaching across the aisle". That has been the Republican failure for decades. You cannot negotiate with evil, and the Democrat Party has come to embody evil. The election was just one major victory in a continuing war. You can be sure those controlling the Democrat Party (and their fellow traveler Republicans) will lick their wounds and come roaring back more viciously than ever with their intent to "transform America" into a collectivist hellhole with them in charge. We cannot think we have won and stop. Freedom and the American experiment in individual liberty will not be safe until the evil and pernicious collectivist philosophy that has infected the Democrat Party and the nation is totally discredited, pounded into dust and thrown on the ashheap of history where it belongs.

When violent illegal aliens are killing, burning and raping across the country, it's difficult to ignore that because it is Christmas. We have MAJOR illegal alien crime problem, and that must be moved to the highest priority, everywhere. Deporting all illegal aliens, and yes, that means that roofing crew and the lawn maintenance folks, should be a top national priority.

Nobody would wish for unity and goodwill among Americans more than I, but I am afraid that it has been made an unattainable goal by those on the left who hate everything American and desire its overthrow and replacement with their version of a socialist Utopia. Of course, unless one prefers the dystopian version of Utopia the left seeks to implement, that is something with which we cannot ever agree or to which we can ever accede. This means that Rush Limbaugh was correct when he told us that there can only be one way to deal with leftists; to oppose and defeat them at every juncture. The left, like rust, never sleeps. It is evil and tireless. We must be equally tireless in our opposition.

Forgiveness is all well and good, but those who broke the law need to suffer the consequences of their actions--that is, they need to be charged and punished. If we don't enforce the law, then the election of Trump is a joke, and we will deserve everything we get in four years! NO ONE should be above the law!

California has made a big bet on a technology to meet its self-imposed green energy target. It could work. Maybe. Might happen. If the real world matches the optimism. But there are challenging hurdles ahead. One, the concept is untried on an industrial scale. It’s hardly news that Joe Biden is a liar. And lately, he’s actually being called out for it. After repeatedly denying he would pardon his son Hunter, he went ahead and did it anyway—as anyone could have predicted. Another lie he repeated often was that he never discussed business deals with Hunter.The evidence proving he was lying has been out there for a long time now, but new photos released this week further undermine Joe’s claims. The National Archives released a series of photos showing Joe Biden, during his vice presidency, meeting with Chinese officials and Hunter Biden’s business associates.

One of the more interesting innovations that Donald Trump has brought to modern presidential campaigns has been the party-like atmosphere of his Trump rallies. These rallies were in battleground states and areas, where Trump spoke for a few hours, oftentimes mixing political and policy issues with jokes and commentary on non-political affairs, with some music and a little dancing.Then again, these types of political rallies are not totally new and unique to American politics. Political events with a party atmosphere have been around since the beginning of the Republic and before;

For several years now, Hobby Lobby’s Christmas marketing campaign has used the theme: “Christmas is what you make it.” Commercials depict warm and heart-tugging vignettes of individuals, in one way or another, sharing some Christmas joy with someone else: I must admit, the commercial above brought a lump to my throat: An older, happily married couple observes two young, lonely singles that need a little push to get to know each other.
