White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre faced tough questions from reporters on Friday regarding outgoing President Joe Biden’s noticeable absence during his final days in office, despite numerous pressing issues unfolding in Washington. This comes amid speculation that Biden is “quiet quitting” and failing to lead his party to the finish line. The press briefing opened with a question on the minds of many Americans wondering where Biden has been amid the ongoing spending bill battle that needs to be passed in order to avoid a government shutdown.

The great thing about Biden's vanishing act is that KJP has to stand up in front of a press corps that obviously doesn't buy the manure she is shoveling. She RICHLY DESERVES this response. Everything she says is being dismissed with derision. The President and the dems have NO effective messaging. No one believes them and few are even listening. You wonder why the press corps even bothers to show up and ask her questions when she blathers like this. And most of all it drives home the reality that Biden has been an absent President. The only remaining question is WHEN he became so debilitated that he couldn't function in the office, who knew it, how to hold them accountable for betraying the Country, and how to prevent a repeat in the future.

Among those impacted are retirees who at one time worked as firefighters, teachers, postal workers, police officers, or in other public sector jobs. A provision that limits the benefits allotted to those workers’ surviving spouses is also eliminated,” ABC News reported.

We’re nearly a decade into the age of Islamist terror via motor vehicle, beginning with the 2016 Bastille Day truck attack in Nice, France that killed 86 people. New York should be hardening vulnerable public spaces. Instead, the city relies on temporary measures and good luck — leaving us little better prepared than New Orleans. Last week’s New Year’s Bourbon Street attack, which killed 14 people, is the fault of one person: ISIS adherent Shamsud-Din Jabbar of Texas. But vehicle terrorism is a fact of modern urban life. The New Orleans attack came two weeks after a Christmastime vehicle assault in Germany that killed five people.

The Biden administration is banning certain natural gas water heaters from the market as part of its climate change agenda, a move critics say will jack up energy costs for low-income and senior households. The move in the final days of the administration will take non-condensing, natural gas-fired water heaters off the shelves by 2029 in a bid to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which climate change advocates and President Biden say cause global warming. The new rules will require new tankless gas water heaters to use about 13% less energy than today’s least efficient tankless models.

However, when COVID-19 hit, it all came crashing down. The pandemic crippled the economy, and the resulting lockdowns, travel restrictions, and other measures presented Democrats with a unique opportunity to undermine Trump’s presidency and seize the election. The scheme officially took effect at midnight on Sunday, meaning drivers entering the city below 60th Street will now have to pay $9 during peak hours — 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends — and $2.25 for off-peak hours. During peak hours, large trucks will pay $21.60, small trucks $14.40 and motorcycles $4.50.
