‘Black Widow,’ Who Murdered 3 Ex-Lovers,

A Maryland woman dubbed the "Black Widow" for murdering two husbands and a boyfriend for insurance money is now free after President Joe Biden commuted her 40-year prison sentence, undercutting the White House's claim that Biden released only "non-violent" offenders in a clemency bonanza last week. Among the 1,500 federal convicts granted clemency was Josephine Virginia Gray, who was sentenced to 40 years in prison in 2002 for insurance fraud schemes connected to the murders of three men between 1974 and 1996. Gray was resentenced to the same amount of time again in 2006 following a series of appeals.

Comments:

Instead of the death penalty, she's out and free. Unbelievable.

She must have some pull or a relative in the the White House. "Everyone is entitled to a second chance." In this case a 4th chance since she is a serial killer.

Is it remotely possible to declare Biden non compos mentis, and undo everything he has done lately? This woman should have gone to the gurney or the Chair. Releasing her gobsmacks me. How could a human being who's not instantly hellbound do something like that? History is going to have a field day with this corrupt individual. An eternity in hell, Joe. Is it worth it?

my theory is there is a forest of pardons to avoid people zooming in and investigating a few that are really importantly dirty (money exchanged hands, or blackmail) that would not withstand investigation. So here are 1500 and they are all more or less dirty. You just try and find the dirt that he wanted to hide, in that steaming heap there.

Biden isn’t behind any of this. He took his Hunter pardon and retired. Now it’s back to the insane liberal cartel who have been running it for 4 years. Biden signs whatever they shove under his nose. God knows who will be next. Perhaps every cop killer currently serving time? Every death row inmate in Federal prison? I’ve heard that’s on the table. I curse anyone who ever voted for these losers.

I don't know why race matters in this case, poster #8, but the alarming part is this: "Gray did not face a murder trial in state court after Maryland's state attorney said her hefty federal sentence "ensures she will die in prison."" She should have been tried for the triple murders, but she wasn't. That's where the problem starts.

Pardons issued by an illegitimate "president" are therefore not legitimate. Any one of us could issue these pardons and they'd have the same weight has those biden signed ~ which is exactly zero. But let them continue to think they're safe; it'll be a real shock when they discover they're not.

My law firm was one of those that defended tobacco companies against, among other things, lawsuits brought by state attorneys general. A key claim in those cases was that the tobacco companies conspired to prevent the public from learning that smoking is bad for you. “If so,” said the partner in my firm who was in charge of the case for our client, “it was the least successful conspiracy in the history of the world.” I recall that comment in the context of recent “revelations” about the conspiracy on the part of the White House, the Democratic Party and the press to conceal the fact that Joe Biden is senile.

The big story this week is the how X (formerly Twitter) worked to dramatically change the American legislative process. As Chamath Palihapitiya said, "People are underestimating what happened here [The Continuing Resolution]. This was a multi hundred billion dollar grift that was stopped on a dime over 12 hours of tweets. You would have never thought this was possible. To put a dagger in something that big that had so much broad support just a few hours earlier is so consequential in how the United States can run going forward." The Wall Street Journal has an article delving into the efforts to cover up Biden’s mental state. But the article raises as many questions as it answers. I won’t dwell on the umpteenth revelations that Biden had bad days, that he had trouble remembering lines or figuring out where he was supposed to go. While preparing last year for his interview with Robert K. Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden’s handling of classified documents, the president couldn’t recall lines that his team discussed with him. At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person…

Donald Trump’s total humiliation of ABC News over its most recent slander, delivered through the flapping gums of malignant dwarf George Stephanopoulos, was one of those delicious examples of how the New Rules keep coming around to bite the left on its collective fourth point of contact. Even a decade ago, this would not have happened. Defamation cases, particularly against public figures, were almost impossible to win and were less about money than about enraged plaintiffs tormenting those who talked bad about them. As drone sightings over New Jersey continue to raise questions, a new tool could bring answers about the source of these flying vehicles — if the government could get it off the ground. Earlier this year, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began requiring all unmanned aircraft systems to be equipped with Remote ID technology, which makes every equipped drone uniquely identifiable to authorities, like a license plate on a car. The FAA announced that it would provide a database that could be accessed by local law enforcement, but nearly one year later, local authorities still can't get into it themselves.

Like any river, American culture follows a particular path, which has been reconfigured at key moments by new technologies. In turn, these technologies, which redefine both space and time—canals and lakes, the postal system, the telegraph, railroads, radio and later television, the internet, and most recently the networking of billions of people in real time on social media platforms—set the rules by which stories are communicated, audiences are configured, and individuals define themselves.
