The mystery of the swarm of drones seen in New Jersey and other northeastern states for at least the last month still hasn't been solved and is at the top of the news cycle as we head into the weekend (as expertly covered by our own Ward Clark), and finally, President-Elect Donald Trump has weighed in on the topic. Trump made a simple statement on Truth Social: (Truth) He wrote:
Mystery Drone sightings all over the Country. Can this really be happening without our government’s knowledge. I don’t think so! Let the public know, and now. Otherwise, shoot them down!!! DJT
Musk's first statement was a tongue-in-cheek response

President-elect Donald Trump is weighing a bid to save the failing Waldorf-Astoria hotel in Washington, DC – and rebrand it once more as a Trump International Hotel, The Post has learned.
Three sources familiar with the situation said that the incoming commander-in-chief’s company, the Trump Organization, is weighing options that include a licensing deal or even possibly buying back the lease on the government-owned, 125-year-old Old Post Office building.
“Our family has saved the hotel once. If asked, we would save it again,” Eric Trump told The Post in an exclusive interview. (Photo) The luxury lodge at 1100 Pennsylvania Ave. – just a few blocks away

The re-election of Donald Trump has created overwhelming angst among the press. With Trump, they have been like the opposite of the Humpty Dumpty rhyme. The media are all the king’s horses and all the king’s men -- and they couldn’t tear Humpty Dumpty apart. All of their screeching about his menace only makes him successful.
Longtime CBS News correspondent Lesley Stahl engaged in conversation at the 92nd Street Y in New York City with columnist Peggy Noonan, and they both agreed the legacy media are "fraying" – for 20 years, Noonan insisted.
"I'm extremely worried about the press," Stahl said, as she dragged out her usual story about Trump

The FBI spied on Trump’s nominee for FBI Director Kash Patel, according to the Justice Department’s Inspector General report.
Last month, President Trump officially nominated Kash Patel for the role of FBI Director in his next Administration.
Kash Patel played an important role exposing the Russiagate hoax when he spearheaded the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the Hillary-funded Steele dossier under Devon Nunes.
Mr. Patel detailed how Paul Ryan rigged his Russiagate investigation before he even started it in an exclusive post for TGP here.

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) claims he saw “large drones” in the sky above his Davidsonville home, located roughly 25 miles from Washington, DC, and called for the federal government to “immediately address” the ongoing issue of reported drone sightings.
In a post on X, Hogan explained that he had “observed” the unidentified drone activity for “approximately 45 minutes.” Hogan criticized the “White House, the military, the FBI” and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for saying they don’t know “what they are” or “where they came from,” while also saying “they pose no threat.”

An awkward moment between political panelists ensued on CNN after a guest touched one of the cohosts as they discussed inflation.
The exchange between Republican strategist Scott Jennings and Bakari Sellers, a former Democratic member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, took place on NewsNight with Abby Phillip on Thursday.
'What Scott was not accurate about- which kind of happens around the table sometimes,' Sellers said, touching Jennings' shoulder. '...although I know you want to be...'

It took long enough.
Nine months after an Army four-star general was reported to have repeatedly interfered with a command selection board to favor his apparent mistress, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth has forced General Charles Hamilton into retirement. Army Secretary Christine Wormuth -- in a dramatic and rare move -- on Tuesday fired one of the service's top generals following an Army inspector general investigation that concluded he improperly intervened in the process for selecting senior commanders.
Gen. Charles Hamilton, who had been the head of Army Materiel Command, was removed after what officials described as a flagrant abuse of authority aimed at securing a leadership role for a subordinate officer

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has suffered a significant injury that could have detrimental consequences after her nasty fall from the stairs earlier today.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Pelosi is in the hospital after falling downstairs while traveling in Luxembourg as a part of a bipartisan Congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge.
According to her spokesperson, Ian Krager, Pelosi is receiving treatment from medical professionals in the tiny European country.

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan posted eerie video footage on his X account Friday of “large drones” circling above his house just 25 miles from Washington, DC, echoing concerns from Americans about the unsettling aircraft recently spotted on the East Coast, primarily in New Jersey.
Hogan, 68, said he observed “dozens of large drones in the sky” over his home in Davidsonville, Maryland, “for approximately 45 minutes” — but didn’t know himself if the aerial phenomena were “a threat to public safety or national security.” (Photo) “We are being told that neither the White House, the military, the FBI, or Homeland Security have any idea what they are,

A drone fell out of the sky and crashed into a New Jersey homeowner’s backyard Thursday night, authorities confirmed — as the unexplained phenomena continue to rattle residents in the Garden State.
The aircraft smashed down in a residential area of Pequannock Township in Morris County around 8:45 p.m. Thursday, according to police and dispatch audio.
Officials determined the craft was “a hobby or toy type of drone” and “not a large commercial or military grade drone,” the Pequannock Police Department told The Post. (Photo) It comes on the heels of New Jersey cops warning of possible “copycats.”

As the countdown to President-elect Donald Trump’s second term ticks closer to January 20th, incoming White House Deputy Chief of Policy Stephen Miller appeared on Hannity to outline the administration’s bold and unapologetic agenda for America’s future.
In a riveting interview, Miller laid out a roadmap for a transformative term that promises to restore American greatness, protect its citizens, and dismantle the deep state.
Kicking off with energy and border policies, Miller affirmed Trump’s commitment to “drill, baby, drill,” a strategy aimed at reducing energy costs and reclaiming America’s energy independence.
On immigration, the focus was clear: sealing the southern border

Yesterday, Katie grabbed the news from the Department of Justice inspector general: FBI assets were inside the Capitol on January 6. Not that the liberal media is going to backtrack or apologize for calling us conspiracy theorists about that narrative. What’s hilarious about this is that we knew we were right from the get-go. The FBI lies, the media lies, and now we have a report saying that assets were inside the Capitol Building on January 6, but somehow, the press doesn’t believe it.
