President Trump on Wednesday afternoon ripped into Christopher Wray after he announced his resignation as FBI Director. Chris Wray, who has a record of setting up innocent men in fake kidnapping plots, spying on Catholics at church, raiding the homes of peaceful pro-life activists, terrorizing J6 protesters, and targeting parents at school board meetings, announced he will be resigning in January before Trump fires him. “After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down,” Christopher Wray said Wednesday, according NBC News.

The House should subpoena all of Wray's records now. Put him on notice that he will be broke when this is over if not in jail. And make sure if anything thing is destroyed he will be charged. When he refuses, hold him in contempt.

Actually, Trump decided that you would resign, Wray. You would be gone on Jan 20, anyway you look at it.

One of the knocks against Trump is that he made somereally bad picks during his first term. Wray was one of the worst, one that came back to bite him. He seems to have learned his lesson and is making far better picks the second time around.

Phildadelphia— More than 400 tips were called into the New York Police Department’s Crime Stoppers tip line during the five-day search for a masked gunman who ambushed and fatally shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last week. NYPD officials said about 30 of those tips were useful as information about the gunman’s movements before and after the Dec. 4 shooting. But it wasn’t until a 911 call came in from a McDonald’s employee in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on Monday that police zeroed in on their suspect. Up to $60,000 in rewards from the FBI and the Crime Stoppers program had been offered to anyone calling in a tip leading to

Horowitz also noted some of these sources were on the ground in Washington D.C. on January 6, but not authorized to enter the U.S. Capitol or to encourage attendees of Trump's rally to commit illegal acts.

“Modern journalism is all about deciding which facts the public shouldn’t know because they might reflect badly on Democrats.” Blogger Sean Medlock (a.k.a. Jim Treacher) posted that jibe on Twitter back in 2014, and not much has changed since then, except that today the American press finds itself in the middle of a slow-motion cataclysm. Where all the debris finally settles is anybody’s guess, but one thing that’s been blasted for sure is the media’s credibility with the public. Fewer than one in three respondents to a Gallup poll now say they trust the media’s reporting “a great deal” or a “fair amount.” It’s a poll the Gallup organization

Over 1,000 people have unsurprisingly received a get-out-of-jail-free card thanks to Joe Biden just a month before he leaves office. The Associated Press reported on Thursday that Biden has decided to commute the sentences of about 1500 convicts who were released from prison during the COVID-19 pandemic and placed on home confinement. In addition, Biden also announced he was pardoning 39 people convicted of “non-violent” crimes. This marks the largest single-day act of clemency in modern American history. Barack Obama previously held the record at 330 right before leaving office in 2017.

Climate scientists recently discovered that they’ve been underestimating the impact of a particular organic compound in the atmosphere, and the oversight’s significance is so profound that it’s left existing climate models completely obsolete. As Jo Nova writes, “This is so big, it may change the sacred ‘climate sensitivity’ of the whole Earth”. Isoprene is what’s known as a volatile organic compound, or a VOC, and “has a recognized role in protecting plants against many abiotic stresses” like “heat stress…drought…[and] oxidative stress” with trees being the greatest emitters. (When the chemical isoprene interacts with other compounds in the atmosphere, the products are a number of secondary organic aerosols.)
