Mark Zuckerberg's Meta has donated a staggering $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural fund.
The deal was reportedly agreed last month when the Facebook boss had a surprise dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which has become the hub for his fledgling administration.
The meeting did caused shock after Trump's angry stance against Facebook and claims that Zuckerberg should be in prison. However, it seems the pair have put their differences aside as the Meta CEO has promised a large paycheck, according to the Wall Street Journal. t's also claimed Zuckerberg gave a demonstration on the company's latest invention, Ray Ban Smart Glasses, then gave them as a gift to Trump.

Use Facebook daily and enjoy it. But, when posting under my real name I never discuss politics, religion or sports. Those topics bring out the worst in some people. Lots of interesting things such as a picture of a lot of unsold Teslas that is so large it can be seen from outer space. Pictures of relatives and other topics. Heck, if Hillary gave me $ 1 million I'd think of something nice to say about her. It would be a lie but I could live with it.

An equal opportunity butt smacker. He only makes half the population happy at a time. And tomorrow it'll be the Dems. Still, the money will make for a good party.

At this point, money donated to democrats will only help finance Joe's retirement, which will mean about four hours a week less work for him.

One thing that facebook did for me was to show that us conservatives were the majority. Before that the MSM and the democrats had us convinced we were the minority. Not sure if it was either by accident or on purpose, but glad that much was revealed.

I know expensive gifts given to the President by foreign dignitaries must be put in the National Archives. Not sure if the rule applies to gifts given by extraterrestials as well. At any rate, Zuckerberg can gift till he is blue in the face, but I still won't trust him. Plus, the Smart Glasses would be a bad idea to wear because POTUS Trump could be tracked...or was that the point?

2020. Facebook, Google and Twitter not only supported the democrat vegetable but cheated big time in manipulating and censoring public opiniom and sentiment. As the Godfather said, "that I can not forgive."

#17 I agree.
The consensus here with my fellow posters is that Mark Zuckerberg has ulterior motives and can't be trusted.
Or could it be he's feeling guilty at what he did in 2020? nah.

For him, that's about the equivalent of what for most other people would be pocket change fallen between the sofa's cushions.
And it's not at all a deviation from his customary cynical M.O. I still trust him about as much as I trust his site's respect for personal privacy.

Power has shifted from the stealth censors and 1st Amendment enemies to The People. Zuckerberg is no dummy. His loyalty will always blow in whatever direction benefits him at any given time. Trump knows this very well. But thanks for the $Million Zuck.
