Mark Zuckerberg's Meta has donated a staggering $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's inaugural fund. The deal was reportedly agreed last month when the Facebook boss had a surprise dinner with Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which has become the hub for his fledgling administration. The meeting did caused shock after Trump's angry stance against Facebook and claims that Zuckerberg should be in prison. However, it seems the pair have put their differences aside as the Meta CEO has promised a large paycheck, according to the Wall Street Journal. t's also claimed Zuckerberg gave a demonstration on the company's latest invention, Ray Ban Smart Glasses, then gave them as a gift to Trump.

Use Facebook daily and enjoy it. But, when posting under my real name I never discuss politics, religion or sports. Those topics bring out the worst in some people. Lots of interesting things such as a picture of a lot of unsold Teslas that is so large it can be seen from outer space. Pictures of relatives and other topics. Heck, if Hillary gave me $ 1 million I'd think of something nice to say about her. It would be a lie but I could live with it.

US makes third interest rate cut despite

The US central bank has cut interest rates for a third time, despite concerns that the move will deliver a boost to the economy that risks re-igniting price inflation. The decision was expected, setting the Federal Reserve's key lending rate in a target range of 4.25% to 4.5%. That is down a full percentage point since September, when the bank started lowering borrowing costs, citing progress stabilising prices and a desire to head off economic weakening. Reports since then indicate the job market has been more resilient than expected while price rises have continued to bubble.

President-elect Donald Trump’s most striking characteristics today are clarity, confidence, and calm. This is extraordinary in a man renowned for chaos, confusion, and the thin-skinned hurling of demeaning insults. But it is a truth that needs to be acknowledged and accounted for to understand what we are witnessing as Trump prepares to resume the presidency. His press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Dec. 16 revealed a man almost preternaturally at ease with himself, his mission, his domestic support, and his acceptance abroad. His tone was measured, even somewhat humble, despite some bragging. When he dismissed questions, as he justifiably did once or twice, it was not done angrily

Via Stephen Moore’s Unleash Prosperity Hotline: No wonder all the traders on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange broke out in a “USA, USA, USA” chant when Trump visited last week.
