Exclusive: Is this the real reason Luigi
Mangione gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO?

Luigi Mangione executed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in cold blood as an 'act of war' after the company 'violated' its contract with his mother who suffered years of excruciating pain and expense following a diagnosis of severe neuropathy. This is the claim made in a document purporting to be Mangione's full manifesto, obtained and shared at length by true crime podcast Hidden True Crime. Producer Lauren Matthias who runs the popular podcast and YouTube channel with her psychologist husband, Dr. John Matthias, shared the unverified document Tuesday afternoon on YouTube.

If the document is true, the motive for the killing of the UHC has been found. Question though - How did Hidden True Crime get a hold of the document? Are the Altoona PD responsible? If so, why are they not being questioned? Mangione is still protected by the Bill of Rights. Was the arrest legal? If not, anything recovered by the APD would be fruit of the poisoned tree. Mangione could skate after all.

I call BS. If the family is as wealthy as they say then I doubt his mother would have to go without medication if her insurance company denied her claim.

I can't help feeling the libs want Luigi in crazy liberal NYC asap to stand trial. I think they really want to acquit Luigi of murder even though the evidence is over-whelming for conviction. I think a lot has to do with Daniel Penny getting acquitted. The left wants revenge. It reminds me of the acquittal of murderer OJ Simpson. I also think Luigi had help, probably from his friends in Hawaii to give the murderer inside information on the movements of Brian Thompson.

I asked the Doctor who told me I had Neuropathy what they could do to cure it, He said: Nothing. All they can do is give you medicine with side effects and that doesn't work.

From personal experience I know that there is no cure for neuropathy. Just some meds that are supposed to help with the pain and don't really work.

“I’ll only do what the law allows, but I will go up to the maximum level of what the law allows” to reverse the migrant invasion, President-elect Donald Trump told TIME Magazine in an interview. Some foreign governments may resist the return of their migrants, but “I’ll get them into every country, or we won’t do business with those countries,” Trump told the magazine, whose interviewers repeatedly pressed Trump to back off of his election promises.Time asked conventional questions echoing the establishment’s opposition to Trump’s popular policies: “What will you do if the military does not or refuses to carry out your [migration-law enforcement] orders? …

Over 1,000 people have unsurprisingly received a get-out-of-jail-free card thanks to Joe Biden just a month before he leaves office. The Associated Press reported on Thursday that Biden has decided to commute the sentences of about 1500 convicts who were released from prison during the COVID-19 pandemic and placed on home confinement. In addition, Biden also announced he was pardoning 39 people convicted of “non-violent” crimes. This marks the largest single-day act of clemency in modern American history. Barack Obama previously held the record at 330 right before leaving office in 2017.

He’s college material — and, apparently, boyfriend material, too. Donald and Melania Trump’s teen son, Barron Trump, has reportedly been “popular with the ladies” since he began attending New York University’s Stern School of Business in the fall. “He’s at Stern so he’s studying business in some way. He’s a ladies’ man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies,” a source told People. (Photos) “He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him,” the insider added. As Page Six previously reported, when Barron, 18, arrived on campus back in September, he was flanked by security guards

New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew doubled down on his claim that the mysterious drones troubling the Garden State are coming from a mothership off the East Coast, slamming Pentagon officials for treating the American public like they’re “stupid” and withholding information about the drones. Van Drew (R-NJ) stood his ground Thursday, even after a Pentagon spokesperson on Wednesday denied claims that the unidentified flying objects came from Iran. “These drones very well could be launched from a ship. It could be hundreds of miles out at sea. These types of drones go much greater distances … Could it be China? Absolutely. Could it be somebody else?

Their bat, their ball. And I’m rooting for them to play great, seriously,” Katzenberg said. “I’ve been on the winning team, and I’ve been on the losing team. It’s nicer to be on the winning team. Donald Trump savaged Vice President Kamala Harris’ failed White House bid in his Time “Person of the Year” interview — saying her biggest mistake was “taking the assignment” altogether. The President-elect — who was given the magazine’s lofty title on Thursday — said Harris’ campaign was doomed from the start “because you have to know what you’re good at.” Trump said what he believes also cost her the election was her neglect to reach a wider audience on the campaign trail by speaking to streamers and podcasters — such as Joe Rogan — as he did. “When she wouldn’t talk to anybody, it shone a light on her,” Trump said.

When does Barack Obama ask Susan Rice to petition Joe Biden for a presidential pardon for himself? With the pardon frenzy buzzing around the Biden camp, a trial balloon for an Obama pardon has already begun drifting toward the Oval Office. Biden will be well advised to limit his pardons to members of his own family. In his NBC News Meet the Press interview on Sunday, December 8, Trump explained that he had no intention of appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Joe Biden, despite Biden’s enthusiasm to raid Mar-a-Lago under the authority of Jack Smith, the special prosecutor the Biden administration appointed in an attempt to convict and incarcerate Trump

There have been 45 men who have been president of the United States. Over the decades there has been voluminous speculation over who were the worst. That distinction now belongs to Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Obama was the most anti-American and radical president in American history and Joe Biden was the most venal and corrupt president in American history. This attached-at-the-hip duo has done more damage to the United States and its founding principles than any presidents in American history. Obama, a stealth but avowed Marxist, governed as a president unabashedly determined to shred the Constitution and transform the nation and its institutions. After the shock of Trump winning in 2016,

President Donald Trump’s mass repatriation of illegal migrants could lower the price of chicken dinners and also raise family wages, according to AviNews.com, a poultry industry news site. “The poultry industry heavily relies on immigrant labor. Many of these workers are undocumented, and their roles are crucial in processing plants and farms, the article noted on December 11, adding: The loss of this labor force could force companies to increase wages to attract [American] domestic workers. Moreover, the return of many illegal migrants to their home countries would also reduce consumer consumption of chicken products, the site noted:

Approximately 3,500 straphangers spread between the two trains had to be rescued by firefighters when the power went out around 5:30 p.m. between the Jay Street/MetroTech and Hoyt-Schermerhorn stations, according to the MTA. The two F trains were in between stations and couldn’t move without the power, leaving commuters stuck without AC in the tunnel for more than two hours before FDNY personnel were able to get to them.

This is my final column for The New York Times, where I began publishing my opinions in January 2000. I’m retiring from The Times, not the world, so I’ll still be expressing my views in other places. But this does seem like a good occasion to reflect on what has changed over these past 25 years. What strikes me, looking back, is how optimistic many people, both here and in much of the Western world, were back then and the extent to which that optimism has been replaced by anger and resentment. And I’m not just talking about members of the working class who feel betrayed by elites;

Climate scientists recently discovered that they’ve been underestimating the impact of a particular organic compound in the atmosphere, and the oversight’s significance is so profound that it’s left existing climate models completely obsolete. As Jo Nova writes, “This is so big, it may change the sacred ‘climate sensitivity’ of the whole Earth”. Isoprene is what’s known as a volatile organic compound, or a VOC, and “has a recognized role in protecting plants against many abiotic stresses” like “heat stress…drought…[and] oxidative stress” with trees being the greatest emitters. (When the chemical isoprene interacts with other compounds in the atmosphere, the products are a number of secondary organic aerosols.)

Kentanji Brown Jackson may not know what a woman is, but she knows what it is to go to bed one night as just an ordinary Supreme Court justice and to wake up the next day as a Broadway star. Yup, she’s hitting the Great White Way (or, maybe, in her case, the Great Black Way) to fulfill a childhood dream: taking a turn in a Broadway musical. Interestingly, the particular musical she’s chosen, “& Juliet,” is a tawdry pro-transgender show. I think we can now guess how Jackson will vote on Tennessee’s “no ‘gender-affirming’ care on minors” law.

However, the San Diego sheriff on Tuesday defied a new policy to limit cooperation. San Diego County supervisors voted to prohibit its sheriff's department from working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on the federal agency's enforcement of civil immigration laws, including those that allow for deportations.
