Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) displaced blame on Saturday for the nation’s managed decline under his long tenure in the Senate. Many economic nationalists believe McConnell, the longest-serving Senate party leader in American history, has managed the nation’s decline while elites profited. McConnell apparently disagrees. He suggested at the annual Reagan National Defense Forum that MAGA is responsible for the managed decline, even though the movement is only eight years old. McConnell has been in power since 1985.

So, they wheeled ol' Glitch out to ramble. What deal with the Devil did all of these fossils make, that they are terrified of ever giving up power and enjoying their 'family'. I mean campaign props. Their family is the other Capital denizens.
He may not be responsible BUT, he certainly hasn't fought much to stop it.

Watching the Turtle for a number of years, it seems to me that even when the Pubbies were in the majority, he would give the 'Rats everything that they wanted, so long as there were a few droppings or crumbs that helped him feather his own nest or help his buddies.
The only exception to this is that he did shepherd Trump's Supreme Court nominees through the Senate labyrinth, and for that I thank him.

Remember the good old days when we believed that the GOP "leaders" were actually on our side and supported "American values"?
Wheweee boys, we sure were gullible back then weren't we?

He came to the party in Washington and stayed much too long. Many others fill the bill. Term limits is an idea that needs to be considered again. Presidents are limited to two terms, why not two for all in Congress?

The "temporary" appointment of Glitch as chair of the senate rules committee is all we need to know to be absolutely sure the RINO club intends to fight to preserve their money pipe from defense contractors, the drug industry, marketing empires, etc.

Mitch is responsible for the endless progression to socialism, without ever doing a thing to reverse it. Mitch is responsible for never using the power that Republican voters gave him. Mitch always got along well with the Democrat leader in the Senate, but despised any Republican with differing views. Mitch is vindictive, and refused to provide any support to conservative MAGA Senators.

One of many. Most people in our government are for sale. They don't care who gets hurt in the process as long as they come out smelling like a rose.

Has someone asked Elaine about "managed decline" - - or - - is she too busy totting up her capital gains from insider deals?
These rapacious, greedy individuals never stop - - not even when they're in their doddering 80s. Crooks until the dead end.

Mitch has been as bad as Schumer but in different ways and with different agendas. He and that wife of his are corrupt to the bone. He made his FIL’s shipping company in Asia immensely wealthy with all kinds of US assistance. His wife greased the skids for it all as Transportation Secretary for two administrations. He is very much responsible for the intentional managed decline of the USA. He was LEADER and you do not get to be SML that long and claim no responsibility for our trillions of debt, mess of an immigration system since the 70’s and Capitol Hill servicing government employees over the health and well-being of the USA. We need to make sure this awful man does not get some Royal taxpayer-funded colossus of a funeral like McCain did.

That sleazy treasonous POS is a wholly owned asset of the CCP... A CCP associated individual gave ole Mitch a $25,000,000. wedding present when he married his Chinese "Honey Trap" wife. If you're stupid enough you can believe ole Mitch; if your able to count to 10 and tie your shoes you're smart enough to know what a fraud he is!

If Mitch didn't like a Republican senate candidate, they got no support from him.
We should have a RINO proof senate now, but we don't because Mitch didn't support multiple candidates.

McConnell acts like the world doesn't see right through him. Saying there was a "Managed Decline" pretty much admits that they managed a decline, either out of incompetence, by bribe, or on purpose. President Trump and us MAGA's are here to fix it.

Due to the experience of term limits here in California, I hate term limits. It used to be dead even here, when the term limits were voted in, the Democrats have taken over the state forever.

Here's a message for ole McConnel...when you take on the job...you are responsible for the actions taken...so I think blaming him for the nightmare situation in the senate is his and schummer's fault....if you can't stand the heat...then get out of the kitchen....as JDVance's Mema told him....with the power given to you...comes responsibility...and ole McConnel is on the judgement block....history will record what he did these many years to undermind our constitution....

It has been suggested that term limits is the answer to protect against the abuse of carrier politicians. This would do something to correct this problem, but it may create a new problem. It may end up with the carrier bureaucrats running things. It takes time to establish working relationships to get things done and identify who can be trusted. I don’t know if six years is enough time. The conspiracy between carrier politicians and bureaucrats worked to obstruct President Trump’s first administration. President Trump seems to have come up with a fix for the carrier bureaucrats this time around. But the carrier politicians are likely to make problems for him.
