In the world of geopolitics created by the U.S. Dept of State and CIA, the pretending is thick. A recent report has Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy now offering to give up territory to Russian President Vladimir Putin in exchange for NATO membership for the remaining portion. The story is sold by western media as if Zelenskyy has options, he doesn’t. However, Putin has a very strong weapon that President Trump has to navigate with a team of people around U.S. policy that are tenuous at best. Let’s discuss without the pretending. Start with a Politico Article HERE, that frames the entry of President Donald Trump -

If Ukraine's corrupt government obtains NATO membership, history will record it as a disaster for the Western allies. What if Mexico had an alliance with China and China gave Mexico SS missiles to fire at the US? How would the US respond? (Well, actually China's "missiles" are the fentanyl deaths.)

Thinking one has options is so different than actually having options. Zee should be thankful that all we require him to do is pay us back for all the US taxpayer dollars he and his American cohorts stole.

Somehow the situation has been set up that EITHER blackrock gets all the things OR Putin gets the Russian empire back. That's how te chess game is being played even now when our support is formally optional. We need to hold on to all of our options.

Without hundreds of BILLIONS of US dollars and unlimited US and NATO weapons, this war would have ended 2 years ago. All of that US tax payer capital wasted with zero gain.

FTA: Vladimir Putin has a weapon the “west” cannot defend against. It’s not part of his physical military armament, it’s far more powerful. Putin has the truth as a weapon. The western group must pretend they didn’t carry out a color revolution in Ukraine. The western group must also pretend they didn’t install Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The western group must also pretend there was not a civil war happening inside Ukraine for a decade, and the western group must pretend they didn’t try to provoke Vladimir Putin with expansions of NATO and an intentional breaking of the Minsk accords. There are other pretenses that must be maintained, but those are the top ones. Into this grand game of pretenses comes President Donald Trump, not exactly the best pretender (by choice) and Vladimir Putin not only knows this, but he also respects this Trump attribute of honesty in problem solving.

The war will end, Putin will keep most of his conquered land, and Zelensky will be voted out of office as soon as elections are restored. He will then retire with our millions of dollars.

A Syrian rebel leader may have been killed in a Russian airstrike on a terrorist hideout after his forces seized Aleppo in a shock offensive, local media has reported. Abu Mohammad al-Julani, the current commander-in-chief of the Hay'at Tahrir al-Shamgroup, is understood to have been inside the building at the time of the attack. Syrian newspaper Al-Watan reported that a tight security cordon has reportedly been place around the organisation's headquarters - but whether Al-Julani's has been killed or not is yet to be confirmed.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is kissing up to President-elect Donald Trump, trying to worm his way into the MAGA sphere and pretend he is enthusiastic for reform. But as a victim of devastating Facebook censorship warned, Zuckerberg is not to be trusted, especially since he has yet to apologize to and restore the data for multiple users whose lives were transformed by online censorship. When Zuckerberg issued a semi-apologetic letter and made a phone call to Trump over the summer, many conservatives, and Donald Trump himself, were delighted. Since then, Facebook censorship — including election-interfering censorship — continued unabated. Like many a careful businessman before him

Criminal law should be clear so that those covered by it can understand what is permitted and what is prohibited. It’s not the place for creative interpretations by the judiciary or partisan prosecutors. Jack Smith has now dropped his cases against president-elect Donald Trump on the grounds that a president cannot be criminally prosecuted, but there is much more that made these prosecutions untenable: They were never grounded in any fair reading of the law that Smith relied upon. The two cases involved Trump’s handling of classified material and his purported efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

If I asked you to think of the place that defines America, you might think of Washington, D.C., or Chicago, or Los Angeles, or monuments like Mount Rushmore, or Mount Vernon, or the Statue of Liberty. But for Andy Hickman, there is no place more American than the woods of upstate New York, where he grew up, and where he writes from for this month’s installment of his series, “Falling Back in Love with America.” For the past month, Andy and his wife Keturah have been peering over the edge of America into Canada, from their perch in Churubusco, way up in New York State.
A Different Sort of Class Warfare 1 reply

Class warfare is nothing new when it comes to the left. It’s a massive part of how liberals sow division among people who would otherwise get along. We see it in how Democrats always portray Republicans as only looking out for the interests of the rich, as though wealthy people are always the enemy. In the UK, the Labour Party has had power since July. Labour is a far-left party that has its roots in protecting the interests of labor unions and socialists. But today’s Labour Party is playing a different sort of class warfare game.

The Russia-North Korea-China relationship is not an equilateral triangle but an evolving alliance with conflicting interests, and reportedly beginning to show signs of fracture and lack of trust. One report suggests that, ultimately, North Korea may dispatch 100,000 troops to Russia. China nevertheless views Russia as principally a source of oil and raw materials. The Kremlin might hope to rejuvenate itself by re-asserting its failing primacy in Central Asia amidst the independent post-Soviet countries. Why Trump Shouldn’t Use Recess Appointments

Since Donald Trump’s reelection victory, some conservatives have discussed the possibility of using recess appointments, temporary appointments made while Congress is out of session, to fill positions in Trump’s new Cabinet. However, the discussions about recess appointments have generated more heat than light, with two groups frequently talking past each other. Moreover, much of the discussion has focused on a scenario that seems unlikely to happen, could well get struck down in court if it did, and represents an unwise use of time and political capital. Herewith a few key points of analysis about the topic du jour inside the Beltway.

Denyeer Aramillo Meneses, 23, and Edison Pena Angulo, 25, were picked up during an early-morning raid in the Bronx by a gang task force led by the NYPD and US Homeland Security Investigation, according to law enforcement sources. In total, 15 suspected members of the Venezuelan migrant gang were nabbed following a months-long investigation into narcotics trafficking and gang violence, the sources said.

Between Medicaid and the state’s Essential Plan, 8.5 million New Yorkers enjoy taxpayer-supported health coverage “for the poor” — but more than a third, 3 million, earn too much too qualify, reports the Empire Center. That’s roughly $20 billion a year in excess and potentially fraudulent spending, fostered by the progressive political class’ belief that the more people signed up, the better. The center’s Bill Hammond identified the mismatch by simply comparing the known enrollment numbers with the Census report on New York income levels. Created in the 1960s to serve the truly poor, the state-federal Medicaid program has gradually expanded to cover those with somewhat higher incomes; with its Essential Plan,

Biden spoke at the White House on Tuesday shortly after Israel's security cabinet approved the agreement in a 10-1 vote. He said he had spoken to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati,

It was the summer of 2019 and President Trump was about to embark on a state visit to the tiny Nordic country of Denmark. Both parties were readying themselves for bilateral talks, but that was before President Trump floated one of his famous spontaneous trial balloons. Trump said that he had had a conversation with the Danish prime minister, stating that the U.S. might be interested in purchasing the island of Greenland. He said that the concept came up and he said that he would be interested in the purchase from a strategic point of view. This did not sit well with the Danish prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, who has been described

Donald Trump is on course to assemble the richest cabinet in American history, with a number of billionaires sending its total net worth soaring over $9 billion - not even including Elon Musk. While Musk will serve in an unofficial capacity focused on slashing government waste and therefore will not need Senate approval, those that will are set to break records. The previous mark was unsurprisingly set by Trump in 2016 when his first cabinet boasted a combined net worth of $6 billion.

As we reported, President-elect Donald Trump has now nominated Kash Patel for the spot of FBI Director. Patel is a big favorite of Trump supporters and it's also going to be hard to argue that he isn't qualified. He's an attorney who has handled many trials, and served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. How do you know it's a good pick? All the right people are upset. They know that Patel is not just going to be a status quo, ordinary Republican, and that he's going to clean things up.

Gavin Newsom’s office promised to “Trump-proof” state laws, and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker has pledged to be a “warrior” against controversial policies.

According to the Toronto Sun, last year, Montreal has endured the most antisemitic hate crimes of any city in North America. Indeed, since the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre in Israel, antisemitic incidents in Canada have increased by an astounding 670%. Canadian Jews — a miniscule 1.4% of the nation’s population — were the victims of 70% of religious-based

Romanians vote in a parliamentary election on Sunday in which the far right is expected to gain from uncertainty over whether the shock result in a presidential election will stand. Days after far-right politician Calin Georgescu won most votes in the presidential election first round, an opinion poll this week showed the hard-right Alliance for Uniting Romanians (AUR) had a narrow lead over the governing Social Democrats. Gains by far-right groupings in Sunday's parliamentary vote after a campaign dominated by voters' concerns over budget problems and the cost of living could upend Romania's pro-Western orientation and undermine support for Ukraine, political analysts said.
