New York—Nearly a month after a devastating election loss that exposed cracks in the very foundation of their party, Democrats remain deeply divided over the extent of their political problem — or even if they have one.
A number of Democratic leaders are downplaying the strength of Donald Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris as the inevitable result of an inflation-fueled anti-incumbent backlash that shaped elections worldwide. But others are convinced that the Democratic Party is facing an acute crisis that requires an urgent overhaul of its brand, message and economic policies.
Trump swept every battleground state on Nov. 5, becoming the first Republican candidate to

Katie wrote about this news last night: President-elect Donald J. Trump named Kash Patel as the new director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. There was no way Christopher Wray was going to remain leading that agency:I am proud to announce that Kashyap “Kash” Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability,

As we reported, President Joe Biden pardoned First Son Hunter Sunday night and basically absolved him of all crimes committed between “January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024,” in effect letting him not only get off scot-free for the gun charges he was convicted of and the tax evasion charges he pleaded guilty to but any shady international deals he allegedly illicitly profited from with China and Ukrainian gas giant Burisma. The move came after Hunter’s lawyers released a 52-page public statement Sunday that read like a “Dear Dad, please help me out, I screwed up” letter.
Now, President-elect Donald Trump is weighing in, and he’s not impressed.

After President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory, the mainstream media have turned their attention to trying to take down his cabinet picks, recently focusing their sights on Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth.
Breitbart News has learned the New Yorker is preparing to publish a massive hit piece on Hegseth, using decade-old allegations made by a jealous former coworker that is now being recirculated to media as he prepares for Senate confirmation. The allegations are from 2014, and were made by a former female associate who was fired from an organization she worked at with Hegseth, the conservative veterans-advocacy group Concerned Veterans for America (CVA).

Hunter Biden struck a note of contrition and promised to help those 'sick and suffering' in a statement after his father Joe gave him a presidential pardon.
The elder Biden made the shock announcement Sunday night that he would issue a presidential pardon for his troubled son, calling his prosecution 'selective' and 'unfair.'
Hunter released a statement of his own - in which he does not directly mention his father - after the decision came down, credited to his full name, 'Robert Hunter Biden.'

Neocon warmonger John Bolton had strong words for President Trump’s excellent pick of Kash Patel to head the FBI.
Bolton appears to still be bitter after President Trump fired him from his position as National Security Advisor in 2019.
Trump said at the time he “disagreed strongly” with many of Bolton’s suggestions.
“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning.

President-elect Donald Trump hinted at mass pardons for defendants tied to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot – with his team vowing he would also overhaul the “Democrat-controlled” Department of Justice — a little more than an hour after President Biden pardoned his son Hunter Sunday night.
“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!” Trump posted on Truth Social. (Photo) The 45th president, who won back the White House last month, floated pardons during his campaign for the thousands of defendants either still facing trials or those already convicted for breaching

Trump-hating Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe accidentally endorsed Kash Patel for FBI Director in a CNN appearance Saturday night, saying his nomination is “terrible” for those who are currently at the Bureau.
The Gateway Pundit reported last night on Kash Patel’s nomination to lead the FBI. President Trump announced Patel’s nomination Saturday evening in a Truth Social post, saying, “This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border.”

President-elect Donald Trump is keeping his new administration in the family and within close counters this time.
On Sunday, Trump announced he tapped his father-in-law, Massad Boulos, to serve as his Senior Advisor to the President on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. Boulos’s son, Michael, is married to Trump’s daughter, Tiffany. They got married in 2022. Trump described Boulos as a dealmaker and “unwavering” supporter of peace in the Middle East and will be a strong advocate for the United States.

Ohio artist Alan Cottrill has created a two-story bronze statue showing President Trump raising his fist in the air and yelling “Fight!” in the iconic moment after he was grazed by an assassin’s bullet.
It is hoped that the statue will be unveiled at his inauguration in January.
In July, would-be assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks was able to climb on top of a roof next to President Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania, rally before firing and grazing Trump’s ear,
Two rallygoers were injured, and former fire chief for Buffalo Township, Corey Comperatore was tragically killed as he shielded and protected his family.

Democrats are trying to figure out how they lost massive numbers of working class voters in historically blue areas across the country — but the evidence shows that the party simply left them behind.
USA Today interviewed multiple former Democrats in the liberal enclave of Massachusetts who cast their votes for President-elect Donald Trump in the recent election, and their main reason was the economy. Mark Callahan, a 67-year-old from Lynn, a suburb of Boston, voted Democrat in nearly every presidential election prior to this year. Now, he said he hopes that Trump will “make a change.” “Everything was too expensive. What we had wasn’t working,” Callahan told the outlet.
