A new report has surfaced suggesting Democrats are feeling "lost and rudderless" following the election. So much so that a list of presidential contenders for 2028 includes the name Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). If nothing else, The Hill column ranking potential Democrat contenders for 2028 shows that the resistance party has little to offer on the bench when it comes to knocking off the Republicans. In fact, polls show Vice President Kamala Harris is far and away their preferred candidate. Trump shellacked her despite Harris having every conceivable advantage in the media, exposing her as a thoroughly unlikable person. But they think Harris can somehow rally in four years?

Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) expressed full support for Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth after meeting with him Monday amid an onslaught of hit pieces from the establishment media.

The Department of Justice announced the arrest of Chinese national Shenghua Wen Tuesday on a series of weapons trafficking and illegal possession charges. Wen is in the U.S. illegally after overstaying a student visa.

Rep. Jared Moskowitz of Florida became the first Democrat to join the House’s GOP-led DOGE Caucus.
"Today, I will join the Congressional DOGE Caucus, because I believe that streamlining government processes and reducing ineffective government spending should not be a partisan issue," Moskowitz said in a statement.
The Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency Caucus will support a new advisory commission with the same acronym led by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy. The Department of Government Efficiency will seek to cut regulations and reduce wasteful government spending.
