Outgoing Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) — a member of the far-left “Squad” — is demanding that the next Star Wars movie features a black Jedi lead character, saying he will refuse to watch and will even denounce the movie franchise if his demand isn’t met. The threat to the Walt Disney Company comes as the studio recently announced a new Star Wars movie trilogy in the making from X-Men veteran Simon Kinberg. Rep. Jamaal Bowman, who is set to leave Congress in January after losing his primary, made his demand known in an X post on Tuesday. “If the lead Jedi is not a Black [sic] man I ain’t messing with yall.

Identity politics is a large reason that the Left lost the election. Most of us don't care what YOU personally want to do with yourself, even if we don't agree or it turns us off. But that's not good enough for the Left. They want to tell us what to think and what to feel with repercussions if we don't goosestep in sync with them. No thanks. This is also an excellent example of what the Left thinks the purpose of government is, to rule everything we do. The founders of our Country and the foundation of our legal structure, the Constitution, is the polar opposite. The federal government has very LIMITED powers. The closer government gets to the people, local government, the more power it has, within the Constitutional framework, because it streams directly from the People.

I guess the green, orange, striped, tentacled, frog, furry, multi color, and other Jedi were not enough. Yes, there were already black Jedi. The Jedi are a very diverse group. Midiclorians help determine a Jedi; not their skin color or a Congressional race baiter.

The idiot lady who runs Disney movie side will happily put in a black female lesbian as the lead Jedi. In fact, she did in “The Acolyte”, and she was such a Mary Sue we would have changed the name of “Mary Sue” characters to whatever the name of the character was if anyone could stand to watch the boring show. I lived and breathed Star Wars so much as a child I read the books, still have the figures, and just couldn’t watch it. And I watched the Star Wars Christmas special gladly as a kid, replete with its perverted wookie. (Those who know, know what I am saying there.)

Sorry Bowman but Star Wars tried that with the character Finn starting with Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in 2015. Not only was he supposed to get with Rey in The Last Jedi, but he was supposed to have a more prominent role. Disney executives allegedly felt that both wouldn't play well in certain markets. So both ideas were scrapped. They had a chance to capitalize on the oblivious chemistry between then young actors Boyega and Riddley (both same age and British) but didn't. So, Bowman can wishfully think (I'm surprised he can think period) all he wants but Disney will never touch that concept.

No problem. Just find an Indian/Jamaican actor who identifies as black, give her/him the role without any screen tests, and have the character slog through the dense Word Salad Swamp of Dagobah before dying a humiliating death at the hands of Orange-man-bad Rebels.

Trump Clinches Another Win in Hush Money

Katie touched on this earlier this morning. We all knew the hush money trial was in trouble since Donald J. Trump won the 2024 election. The now-president-elect wouldn’t be sentenced to jail if he beat Kamala Harris, and Judge Juan Merchan made a series of moves before Election Day to ensure that sentencing could go either way. We all know this case was a political hack job, where the statute of limitations was toyed with, and definitions of the crimes Trump stood accused of involving his alleged tryst with Stormy Daniels were stretched to the limits of reason.

It took just minutes for the left-wing media to have a liberal meltdown over President-elect Donald Trump’s new attorney general pick after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL ) dropped out over sex-related allegations. Florida’s former attorney general, Pam Bondi, will serve as the next attorney general of the United States under the Trump Administration. As Republicans celebrate and applaud the president-elect’s pick, Democrats are already hitting the panic button due to her tough-on-immigration stance and vocal opposition to President Joe Biden’s expose of his family’s ties to the corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma. In other words, Bondi won’t pander to the left.

Davis, a Republican legal expert, has repeatedly called out the judges, DOJ officials, and DAs involved in the many and various lawfare cases against Trump. Now, corrupt Judge Juan Merchan and Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg admitted that Trump’s sentencing in the case involving alleged “hush money” payouts and records falsification has been indefinitely delayed. What does “resistance” look like? When Denver isn’t busing illegal aliens to New York and Chicago, its mayor is trying to act like enforcing American immigration law and deporting illegal aliens is Tiananmen Square all over again. The mayor also takes heart that the people of Denver — not just the administration — would likely resist a mass deportation effort from federal forces. “More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Johnston said. “It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right?”

Former President Clinton suggested Democrats need to find a better way to relate to people, as the party searches for answers amid Republicans securing control of the House, Senate and White House. “Politics is the only business in which you can prove your authenticity by not knowing anything. You know, and I think that’s a problem, and we’ll pay for it unless we get over it, but that’s a problem for the Democrats too. We have to learn to talk to people in ways that they can relate to that explains that,” Clinton said in an interview airing this weekend on MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

The Biden administration told Congress it plans to cancel $4.65 billion in debt owed by Ukraine, approximately half of an economic loan offered earlier this year. [Snip] In April, Congress passed a supplemental funding package that earmarked $60 billion worth of aid for Ukraine, including $9 billion structured as a loan, with a provision that allowed the administration to forgive it, according to Miller. [Snip] Biden has also vowed to commit the remaining $7 billion from the supplemental package to Ukraine before Biden leaves office. On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced $275 million for Ukraine that would include more drones, artillery ammunition and mortars.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants on Thursday for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his former defense minister and Hamas officials, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity over the war in Gaza and the October 2023 attacks that triggered Israel’s offensive in the Palestinian territory. The decision turns Netanyahu and the others into internationally wanted suspects and is likely to further isolate them and complicate efforts to negotiate a cease-fire to end the 13-month conflict. But its practical implications could be limited since Israel and its major ally, the United States,

In his victory speech in 2008 — nearly a generation ago — Obama told the masses in Chicago: “It's been a long time coming. But tonight, because of what we did on this day, in this election, at this defining moment, change has come to America.” Upon reflection, Obama’s changes were far from transformative. Oh, the deep state got deeper. And the insurance industry received subsidies that over the years likely top a trillion dollars by now. Obamacare also enabled him to enable the transgender fad that has poured millions into a few doctors and children’s hospitals while spaying and neutering thousands of innocent teens who were struggling with teenage hormonal imbalances.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) suggested in a recent interview that the DOJ staff is worried it will become a “law firm” for President-elect Trump during his second stint in the White House. His claim came shortly after Trump tapped former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to lead the DOJ following former Rep. Matt Gaetz’s (R-Fla.) withdrawal from consideration. “So, she’s really presiding over the bureaucracy,” Raskin, the ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, told MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight” in an interview Thursday. “That is where she will be the key transmission belt between Donald Trump’s orders and then making the bureaucracy move.”
