Nevertheless, they are ditching Santa Barbara County. The ex-Montecitans are now expats after the reelection of a certain ex-president, the Wrap reports. DeGeneres and De Rossi are now at home in the U.K. The pair are voracious home buyers. They have bought and sold a number of properties around L.A., yet the Santa Barbara area was a particular favorite. Site Line, which keeps an eye on upscale real estate in those parts, said in February that DeGeneres and De Rossi had spent at least $350 million

Rather than issue arrest warrants for Hamas leadership for those atrocities, the ICC has chosen to go after the Israelis for fighting Hamas where Hamas hides out -- among civilians:

Senator Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), an avowed socialist, brought a vote on three joint resolutions of disapproval to block the U.S. from sending some of the $20 billion of weapons to Israel the Biden administration approved in August.
On a bipartisan basis, the Senate rejected Sanders’s push to halt offensive weapons sales to Israel as many Republicans and some Democrats reaffirmed their pro-Israel stances.

House Speaker Mike Johnson announced Wednesday his intention to ban biological males who identify as transgender women from using women’s bathrooms and locker rooms on Capitol Hill.
“All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings — such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms — are reserved for individuals of that biological sex,” Johnson said in a statement.
“It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol. Women deserve women’s only spaces.”
The move comes as Representative Nancy Mace (R., S.C.) pushes to include in the upcoming House rules package

His comments, made on Truth Social, followed Senate Democrats confirming a controversial judge Monday night in a close vote, as well as a handful of other Biden picks. Several Republican senators were absent from the vote.
