The House Judiciary Committee is examining a new whistleblower report that the FBI targeted Donald Trump soon after he announced his presidential campaign in June 2015, an off-the-books operation ordered by FBI Director James Comey that predated the Crossfire Hurricane operation. An FBI agent involved in the probe revealed the off-the-books criminal investigation on Tuesday in a protected disclosure sent to the committee. The whistleblower disclosure said that two female FBI undercover agents successfully infiltrated Mr. Trump’s 2016 campaign at high levels and were directed to act as “honey pots” while traveling with Mr. Trump and his campaign staff on the trail.

The Protection Racket Media has seized (or is it pounced?) on protests at town-hall meetings over DOGE cuts to the federal bureaucracy. Politico gave us an example of the DOGE-is-unpopular media narrative this morning, in fact:
Rep. Jay Obernolte’s town hall in California last week was drowned out by shouts of “No king!” Rep. Glenn Grothman entered his Wisconsin town hall to boos and jeers, while Rep. Cliff Bentz of Oregon faced so much heckling that he threatened to leave.

The White House won a temporary victory yesterday in the lawsuit brought by the AP over their exclusion from the briefing room and Air Force One. The judge in the case declined to issue a temporary restraining order, but seemed inclined to think that the AP would prevail on the merits. Judge Trevor McFadden questioned whether the Trump administration had conducted viewpoint discrimination, suggesting that the AP would win at trial. McFadden also noted pointedly that the White House allowed the White House Correspondents Association authority to grant credentials and access to the media spaces:
Apple’s iPhone voice-to-text feature is sparking controversy after a viral TikTok video showed a user speaking the word "racist," which at first showed up as "Trump" before switching back to "racist."
Fox News Digital was able to replicate the issue multiple times. The voice-to-text dictation feature was observed briefly flashing "Trump" when a user said "racist" before it quickly changed back to "racist" – just like in the viral TikTok video.
However, "Trump" did not appear every time a user said "racist."
The voice-to-text feature also wrote words like "reinhold" and "you" when a user said "racist." Most of the time, the feature accurately wrote "racist."
The NSA spies on all of us but didn't know that their employees are using an official chat system to discuss their sexual perversions, swap stories about their transgender fantasies, their surgeries or plans for them, and "kink."
What great spies they are. They probably know what you ate for breakfast, but didn't know their own employees were doing this on official chatrooms during company time. I'm pretty sure that the agency is lying about not knowing because if that is the case they should fire all the top brass and their deputies and start over with something other than the DEI crowd.
Republicans in the House Judiciary Committee are claiming that a new disclosure reveals that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) leaked a larger amount of taxpayer data than previously admitted, and that information about President Donald Trump is among them. Concretely, the House Judiciary GOP said on X that the IRS admitted that the actual figure was over 405,000, compared to the "over 70,000" claimed last year when Rep. Jim Jordan began inquiring into the matter.

The George Pickett example might be apt, but not in the way that James Carville thinks. We'll get to the polls shortly, but for now let's just say that the Ragin' Cajun is getting high off his own supply. He might have read a recent Washington Post analysis highlighting a secondary outcome of an outlier poll, to which I'd advise Carville to check his sources.
Anyway ... chaser: This is why the idea that the Trump administration will collapse is absurd. First, Trump isn't even losing on the stays consistently. The first few forays threw up some roadblocks, but judges have relented on some of those now too.
We reported earlier on the disturbing news that chat logs of the NSA government messaging program for the intelligence community showed that NSA, CIA, and FBI personnel were discussing some concerning lurid topics including transgender sex subjects and "wide-ranging discussions of sex, kink, polyamory, and castration."
“All NSA employees sign agreements stating that publishing non-mission related material on Intelink is a usage violation and will result in disciplinary action.” The CIA has now responded to the reports. Director of Public Affairs for the CIA Liz Lyons said that the messages "allegedly involving a CIA official are unacceptable and have no place at the Agency.

New York — Starbucks announced Monday it will lay off over 1,000 corporate workers and cut complex and unpopular drinks from its menu in an effort to turn around lagging sales and revamp the coffee chain.
Starbucks is cutting some Frappuccino blended drinks, Royal English Breakfast Latte and White Hot Chocolate as part of its effort to simplify operations and shrink its menu.
“These items aren’t commonly purchased, can be complex to make, or are like other beverages on our menu,” the company said in a release announcing the menu change. Starbucks is cutting 30% of its menu in an effort to simplify its processes.
