A perfect example why we need Trump to win with coattails so wide and deep that even the dogcatcher races turn GOP. Otherwise we will never get such laws overturned. Our feckless Supreme Court is very unlikely to reverse the established laws of blue states even if the US Constitution says otherwise and it will never happen before this election.

It is ONE thing to argue for extra days ahead of an election to be able to cast votes, up to and over a month now in many places, but having already DONE that there then NO excuse for accepting ANY VOTES AFTER. The Constitution calls for ONE DAY, One day only. Exception to the rule before the fact might be "marginally" constitutional, anything AFTER clearly violates the Rule.

This should not be something that will be a large number of ballots so if there are then you know there was intent by some entity or group. Someone should check to see how much mail regularly misses a postmark.

If you can get your rent check in on time, you can get your ballot in on time. If you can meet the April 15 deadline for your tax return, you can make the Nov 5th deadline for your ballot. If you can have your Christmas gifts under the tree Christmas morning, you too can vote on time. It ain't rocket science.

How in the world does a "mail in ballot' get counted without a postmark unless surrendered at a polling place to vote LIVE instead? That ballot would be nullified or destroyed and NOT counted.... postmarked ballots can be counted later and CAN be allowed to count if postmarked on election day but arrive a day or two afterward

Vice President Kamala Harris’s plan to offer $20,000 in forgivable loans to minority entrepreneurs is a golden opportunity for scammers and fraudsters, experts told the Daily Caller. Harris announced the plan in early October as part of her “Opportunity Agenda for Black Men.” It promises to “ensure that Black men can build wealth and achieve economic success” by providing one million loans, fully forgivable and worth up to $20,000 each, to black entrepreneurs “and others who have historically faced barriers to starting a new business or growing an existing business.”

While we've been saying that this election will likely come down to seven key battleground states, and it still could, former and potentially future President Donald Trump is enjoying momentum so strong he may not just win in most or in all of those states, but in other states not traditionally considered to be battleground states. Now, in the final days before the election, there looks to be more states seriously in play, and it looks like Vice President Kamala Harris knows it too, which may explain why she's pulling her ads from North Carolina markets.

The recent media blitz led by ex-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly as he tried to tie former President Trump to Adolf Hitler has certainly gotten a good bit of attention. I suppose that’s what media blitzes are for. And I imagine the Kamala Harris campaign is very pleased with Kelly’s participation in their closing argument to the 2024 race. I will leave the politics to others. I see Kelly’s comments through a different lens — as one of only three other people in the entire world who have roughly the same perspective on the Trump White House as Gen. Kelly does. Hispanic voters seem to be laughing off the faux media outrage over the Madison Square Garden rally comedian, showing up for Republicans in big numbers, even in places like traditionally blue Miami-Dade. Miami-Dade technically has a voter registration advantage over Republicans. Data from September 30 showed Democrats with roughly 44,000 more registered voters in the area. However, last week, Miami-Dade flipped red in early and mail-in voting combined, and that trend has continued following the Trump rally at Madison Square Garden.

In his narrative poem The Divine Comedy, 14th-century Italian sage Dante Alighieri reserved the ninth and deepest circle of his Inferno for those scoundrels who betrayed their comrades and leaders — Brutus, Cassius, Judas Iscariot, Satan himself. A revised MAGA edition of The Divine Comedy might justifiably find space in that circle for people like Liz Cheney, Gen. Mark Kelly, and the editorial staff of The Bulwark. Although many would put former vice president Mike Pence in there as well, I would not. I would argue for a lower circle still, a tenth circle. Although Dante did not say, as alleged,

The potential for Democrats to perpetrate political violence undermines their narrative that Republicans, and especially the America First movement, are a threat to democracy. “I think there’ll be some violence.
