Federal Appeals Court Rules for ‘Election

Once upon a time, America used to have Election Day. Now we’re being threatened with Election Week. There’s no reason for it. The year is 2024. We can order a toaster and have it delivered overnight from another state. We hear about an event seconds after it happens. Yet somehow despite insane budgets, we’re told that it’s impossible to do in 2024 what we were able to do in 1944. During wartime. Election Week may have hit a bit of a snag after the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that counting mail ballots arriving after Election Day is wrong because it’s… Election Day, not Week, Month or Year. “Congress statutorily designated

Comments:

American citizens should vote on Election Day, in person, with official identification. We do not need another "mail in" president, cheated into power. Election processes should be returned to pre-Covid standards.

Said it before...ONE day voting...no absentee unless you are certified in hospital by a doctor, no 'harvesting'...paper ballots, indelible ink, if not in poll book no vote, PHOTO id, and purple ink for your thumb instead of those stupid 'I voted' stickers...oh, make it a national holiday so there are no excuses to not go do it...we need to get back to honest elections...

The State of Florida has its act together - finally after the Bush/Gore fiasco. Speaking of ordering a toaster, how come when you vote electronically, it seems for many states, that they just cannot track what happens to that (e)-vote/ballot? hmmm

Until we have one day voting and limited absentee ballots, we need to vote early, for several reasons. Once you've voted, your party no longer has to spend money to get your vote out. Also, some unforeseen catastrophe can happen, such as the printers in AZ being set to the wrong page size on the actual day, so the (mostly) Republicans who planned to vote that day were disenfranchised by the dirty rotten, terrible, no good, very bad Secretary of State who was running for governor and cheated Kari Lake out of that office.

Since the stolen Presidential Election of 2020 (yes it was stolen from President Donald John Trump and if you think I'm an election denying Nazi Utra MAGA extremist threat to "democracy" guess what I don't care) Democrats will do all they can to make sure that dimwitted harlot Harris and her lying Chicom loving perverted partner Walz ascend to power. That means what the 5th Circuit Court did means nothing to them.

Make it "for ‘Election Day’, Not ‘Election Week’" Amen, Brother Ben! Stand up tall and say it again!! Start at 7:00 a.m., not just get ready to start. Proctors will be there to see that the polls close at 7:00 p.m. on the dot! The various election commissions will be happy to pay you for each hour you spend and rewarded by happy voters' smiles of appreciation. Military and expats can get their ballots to their "home base" in time if they really want to.

The Nightmare of America After Kamala Wins 3 replies

In my last column, I wrote about America after a second Trump administration, but now comes the horror show – America after a first Kamala Harris administration, which is actually a second Biden administration, which is really the third Obama administration, only dumber. It's unclear whether America can survive it. We're strong. We're resilient. But the infection is deep and when you get gangrene, the only answer is to start cutting. Don't underestimate the damage someone who is stupid, leftist, and fully convinced of her own greatness can do even to a country like the United States of America. President Harris will be in an unmitigated disaster.

Lee Smith is one of the sharpest political analysts around. And yesterday, writing at Thomas D. Klingenstein’s site, Smith asked a question that has probably occurred to the rest of you: “Is the Left Preparing for War If Trump Wins?” If someone like Smith asks the question based upon a careful review of available information, you’re no longer looking at tinfoil hat stuff; instead, this is a very serious matter that we hope the Trump campaign and the RNC are taking very seriously. What concerns Smith is the escalating rhetoric about Trump as a “fascist” (Kamala’s words) and another Hitler (John Kelly, The Atlantic, Kamala Harris). Before, during, and after

There is a tide in the affairs of men, as Shakespeare said, and now, two weeks before election day, that tide has swung decisively toward Donald Trump. Forget the establishment polls. The betting sites show him leading by nearly thirty points. He’s ahead in every last battleground state, according to RCP. Embattled Democrat senatorial candidates, including Bob Casey, Sherrod Brown, Jon Tester, and Tammy Baldwin have abandoned Harris and allied themselves with Trump. Both the LA Times and WaPo have refused to endorse Harris. There are more registered GOP voters today than at any previous point in history. As for Mrs. Harris-Emhoff… well, “collapse” is the polite word.

Question for the American people: How well do you know Kamala Harris? We know Donald Trump extremely well. Not to wax all Eastwoodian, but when it comes to Trump, we already know the good, the bad, and the ugly. We know all about McDonald’s, the divorces, the money, the accusations, the successes, and the hair. He’s transparent. In fact, given the global population boom and the rise in alternative media, you could make a compelling argument that more content has probably been produced about Donald Trump over the past 10 years than about anyone else on the planet. And that ain’t hyperbole, folks — that’s almost certainly a fact!

(X) Sure, the polls could be wrong like they were in 2022, but just look at the Harris-Walz campaign lately. For quite some time, Democrats have been campaigning on the idea that contrary to what Republicans have said, violent crime is down. The Biden administration is handling things and there's no reason for anyone to be concerned about being gunned down in a parking lot over their cell phone or car keys. However, that seemed to ring hollow to a whole lot of people. After all, the news reports sure don't look like violent crime is down. Yet a whole lot of people had a lot vested in telling you that it was, particularly gun control groups like Giffords. After all, President Joe Biden signed a major gun control bill into law.

The results appeared on the ticker along the bottom of the screen during a broadcast of the Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix by ABC local affiliate WNEP-TV on Sunday. WNEP-TV said that the numbers came up on the screen in 'error' and that they had been 'randomly generated' as part of a test ahead of election night on November 5.

Democrats went into damage-control mode Tuesday night due to the president’s trash talk, claiming that Biden hadn’t intended to demonize his party’s political opponents just seven days before voters head to the polls. “The President referred to the hateful rhetoric at the Madison Square Garden rally as ‘garbage,’” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement.
