The Atlantic’s “Trump loves Hitler” hit-piece hit a snag as several people who worked alongside — and for — retired Marine General John Kelly have come out to publicly dispute his claims.
In the article that was published on Tuesday, Kelly was quoted as saying that Trump had often praised “the German generals,” and when asked to clarify, had told Kelly he wanted the kind of generals that Hitler had. Kelly also claimed that Trump had praised Hitler for doing “some good things” like rebuilding the German economy after World War I.
But according to a few who worked either alongside or for Kelly in the Trump White House —

Hitler had some very good generals. He tried to have some of them killed.

Kelly,Bolton and the rest of those anti-Trumpers who have endorsed the airhead will stop at nothing for revenge. I think Trump was right to ask for additional info instead of taking their advice or their word verbotten.

Lots of anti Trump people have said that Trump has said a lot of things. If you take one or two words or one or two sentences cess from an entire conversation, but ignore the rest of the conversation, you can make anyone look like a psychotic madman. Democrats and Never Trump people are pros at this. Anytime they say that "Trump said", check the full text of what he said, not the selected snippets curated to make him look bad.

What has happened to our beloved Marine Corps that it produces the Kellys of the world? We need God. People today are vicious and will lie like it's nothing anymore. They apply their personal feelings and vendettas to serious work, and they don't care about the harm it causes. Everything is about them. It's a darn shame.

Trump must realize that when he appoints a retired military Admiral or General to some high level civilian position in his Administration that he is actually appointing an “under cover” partisan politician who has political “Godfathers” on one side of the congressional aisle or the other, and in the case of Kelly who is clearly a Democrat, that Kelly and other Admirals and Generals are 100% used to anyone they talk to to be expected by them to just say “Yes Sir” and to follow the advice or opinion given by the particular Admiral or General. Clearly many times Trump when operating as President, after receiving such advise, made his own decision on the issue at hand, sometimes in variance with the Admiral or General’s advice that does not go over good with some of those retired military flag officers.

The acid test of Gen. John Kelly nailed him beyond honest argument:
Like Trump or not, it cannot be honestly said that D.J. Trump is stupid.
After the weather made the planed helicopter trip to the cemetery inadvisable,
Gen. Kelly stated that President Trump remarked that soldiers who died for
their country were "suckers and losers."
On its face that is absurd. Even if Trump actually believed that he would never, ever, say it out loud.
And he certainly would not say that to one of the "woke" generals that President Obama earlier
replaced by forcing (in my opinion, "real") generals to retire.

#3 Yes, the most repeated example of what you're saying is : Full quote, "THEY LET YOU grab them by the ...", not the abbreviated, "...Grab them by the ...".

Trump needs to watch out for the "Perfumed Princes" in DC which is a term coined by Col. Hackworth and wrote a few good books.

I might be off by one or two. Got the numbers off the internet. The United States currently have 44 active four star generals. During WW II while we were at war on a global bases we had 7 four star generals. Something wrong here?

What this lying tin soldier fails to recall is that the President of the United States of America can order a commissioned officer back to active duty at any time and for any reason. And he can do this for court marshaling the various backstabbing anti-American flag officers and generals.
Nothing would please me more than to see Kelly, Millie, and a few dozen or so generals and flag officers reduced in rank to an E-1 (the lowest rank in the military) with a forfeiture of all pay, retirement, and benefits terminated. Even in retirement, these traitors must pay the price for treason. And we all know what the UCMJ states as the punishment for treason or sedition.

If Hitler had the good sense to listen to his generals, WWII would look quite a bit differently.
