The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) quietly revised its crime data for 2022, less than three weeks until the Nov. 5 election and conveniently after presidential and vice presidential debates. Vice President Kamala Harris must be breathing a sigh of relief knowing that the FBI waited until the last possible moment to correct the nation’s 2023 violent crime data report. It initially reported that the rate fell by 2.1% in 2022 but has since been updated to show it actually increased by 4.5%, proving Republicans’ claims that violent crime is plaguing the nation.

Put the FBI’s revised violent crime data together with David Muir’s debate fact check in an TV ad. That is an easy way to validate President Trump and to question the integrity of the FBI and legacy media.

SpaceX sues California agency, alleging

SpaceX has filed a lawsuit against a California agency this week after the body rejected a proposal to increase the company’s launches from the state’s coastline to 50 per year.  The California Coastal Commission (CCC) made its decision at an October 10 meeting, despite the U.S. Air Force (USAF) endorsing the plan on the grounds that more launches of Starlink and Starshield, the defense-focused unit, are critical to national security.  In the lawsuit, SpaceX says that the commission engaged in “naked political discrimination” when some commissioners cited the political activity of CEO Elon Musk, while also attempting to unlawfully regulate federal agency activities.

Moviegoers across the country have fired The Apprentice. The controversial Trump biopic — which portrays the young Donald Trump as a rapist — is set to gross around $1.5 million on its opening weekend. That’s an embarrassingly low figure given the movie received a wide release on 1,740 screens, for a per-screen average of about $862. Since most screens feature multiple showings a day, that means from late Thursday to Sunday, there was an average of around five people per showing — in other words, mostly empty theaters.

New Zealand’s navy has suffered its first peacetime ship loss since World War II when the $100 million multi-role support vessel HMNZS Manawanui ran aground off the southern coast of Upolu Island, Samoa, caught fire and eventually sank—triggering an environmental disaster in the process. With all 75 passengers and crew evacuated, the vessel’s loss brings fresh scrutiny to the leadership under its openly lesbian commanding officer, Commander Yvonne Gray. The Manawanui, originally built in Norway and repurposed for New Zealand’s Royal Navy with a substantial $103 million investment, was conducting a seabed survey mission when it hit a reef, according to maritime news outlet gCaptain.

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has continuously denied that the state’s policies have anything to do with sky-high gas prices the state's residents pay, arguing that it’s “Big Oil” driving up gasoline prices. But a new study shows policies have added as much as $1.91 per gallon to what Californians pay at the pump. According to AAA, Americans on Saturday were paying on average $3.177 a gallon for gasoline. Californians were paying $4.676 per gallon on average. The gap can vary. A year ago, the average national price was $3.814 per gallon, while Californians were paying $6.059 per gallon.

No, it’s not “the economy, stupid,” in spite of the schizophrenic stock market since our remarkably resilient capitalistic economy ran head-on into the socialist-cum-communist Biden-Harris regime, with its $1.8-trillion deficit. And no, it’s not domestic policy, where we have had the luxury of being on the receiving end of these: High taxes. High food prices. High gas prices. Sky-high regulations. Alarmingly high crime rates throughout the country, particularly in states run by Democrats, where arrests are few, bail is nonexistent, and raging criminals enjoy no consequences for their assaults, rapes, murders, racist attacks, etc.

On the campaign trail this month, former President Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to “close the federal Department of Education” and expand school choice — a wildly popular concept that cuts across party lines, new polling shows. Good news: If he wins the White House again, he can do both. The federal Department of Education is an unconstitutional waste of time and money. Its very existence arguably violates the Tenth Amendment: The word “education” appears nowhere in the Constitution. The federal government has spent well over a trillion dollars on K-12 education since the department’s inception, while failing to improve student performance.
